      Yes please do a video on all the blend modes on the list! I’ve been waiting for somebody to finally do a breakdown on the blend modes and the differences between them! Great work btw!

    Thank you for this! A topic that I knew absolutely nothing about. I especially appreciated your explanation of when to use these various blend modes. I would love to see more videos on this same topic!

    This has to be one of the best FCPX/Motion channels on TH-cam! I’ve been looking for someone to finally do a technical breakdown of all the blend modes and you covered a bunch here! Thanks! Can you do a video covering all the blend modes in the list please? Using the same steps as you did in this video? Thanks 🙏

      Legend!!! Glad I saw you watched the new one! Hopefully it helped enough!

      @@TheFinalCutBro cheers buddy you’re doing great work on this channel.. this is definitely my go to channel now for both motion and FCPX. I’m wondering, since you know motion so well, I’d suggest maybe making a video showing maybe how motion compares to after effects and whether you can actually replace after effects with motion completely. Are you familiar with AE? I’m sure a video like that would be of great interest to a lot of AE users who are maybe using FCPX because it just runs way better on mac and maybe they need that extra nudge to consider motion as a viable alternative to AE.

      @@PhilipZilfo been thinking about that concept as well! I think people may find Motion more powerful than they initially realize.. definitely need to make that video.

    FIRST! 😜 You know, I was actually thinking about looking up the meanings of all the different blend modes the other day. Thanks for making this brotha! Another tip for multiply (and darken) is to use it to put text behind dark objects in your image (usually silhouettes).

    • @TheFinalCutBro
      @TheFinalCutBro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dude that’s a solid tip! I did not know that.
      There are websites that break down the blend modes by some really crazy math that went way over my head haha! I finally found some info on Adobes website, but they don’t have all the same blend modes that FCP has. So not all the info is there, but definitely a good place to start. Thanks for the support my dude! 👊

      @dylanjohndickerson 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheFinalCutBro the main reason I do is because I have a video coming out next week about it haha. Ya they would have had me clicking off once I saw there was math involved. Glad you were able to simply things 🙌
