I really need a tutorial for color correction to improve my animations, however I'm stuck on the first seconds... When I start with preferences my menu doesn;t have this color correction switch from board to wheels... and my FCP says that it's ok and there is no any updates so no idea how to make those wheels
In case you hav not yet figured it out, you can do all the same things in the "color board" ... the interface just looks different

@@MarkHarrison4 Ive done it many a time, got exited, started editing the video soon as I could, chopped the clips to pieces then thought, "wouldn't mind of colour editing those" lol hopefully this will be in the back of my mind now, if I want to get str8 to editing while the inspirations there before colour editing, compound clip! lol.

Great video, through and through. I always forget about some of these and find myself juggling by hand with the other tools less suited to correct, fix or enhance image.
Wanted to say this both as sharing and for solidifying knowledge: on the FCP Summit 2020 conferences, Jeff Greenberg had a three part color correction where he shared a simple tip to understand what the Sat Vs Sat, Hue Vs Hue etc curves means... to just read it as “Hue CONTROLS Hue”, “Luma CONTROLS Sat”, so on and so forth. So if we wanted grass to be grayscale, we pick the “Hue Vs Sat” (so that Hue Controls Saturation), be around a green range and bring it down to desaturate it.
