Id love if you can fin different perspectives on the decission process, and the different things you have to face with each different decission. I've heard of cases when they choose amputation rather than limb salvage but they dont explain all the things they took into account to make that decission. I had LSS 13 years ago and despite the first year was very rough i had very good results and a very functional leg. Except ive had pain crisis from time to time. Now my prosthesis is becoming quite loosen and i may have to face revision surgery in the near future anf the thought of dealing with all of that again makes me wanna rethink my options. And despite ive had so many good years the fact that these are not permanent surgeries and that ill have to pay to go through all of that once again is really scary. Idont know id just like to listen to more perspectives on that subject.

This is something near and dear to all of us OsteoWarriors. Great suggestion! Will share with the osTEAo hosts for their consideration and discussion of how best to deal with these decisions.

Also, check out OsteoBites where there are several episodes where LSS, Amputation, and Rotationplasty are discussed with both the surgeon and the patient as guest speakers.
