Red Hood is by far, the most honest and down to earth character within the Bat-family ... I like the new look, it's very urban, but I still think the classic costume is better!
I agree whole heartily. I've always found the rest of the Bat Family naive at the best of times and hypocritical at the worst. I mean how many people die in the comics/shows/movies because someone like the Joker broke out of Arkham after Bat-Man refused to kill them, all that blood is also on their hands. As far as the new costume I like it and think it could be even more useful in key situations but the classic is just so great I can't imagine anything being better than it.
Jason Todd is always a better character when he is separate from the bat family(or going against it). It's nice that him and Dick are like brothers to each other but I'll be glad when the writers let Jason move on from Bruce. Also when is a red lantern ring gonna find Jason cause I know the dude qualifies

Bruce will find Jason, banter will ensue to the point where Jason will respond with, "I made you a promise Bruce, but you could never really give me a chance because you can't see past yourself" line. Bruce and Jason will fight it out after that only for the Outlaws, Bizarro and company to arrive in the nick of time to get Jason out and away from Bats. Well, that's what I think anyway.

Jason was telling him that he isn't going back without a fight, but Bruce didn't come for one. They just had coffee and hugged.

I like the Red Hood better than Batman, but I don’t think he understands Gotham and it’s people better than Batman. Batman literally studied every inch of Gotham and had to deal with the corruption way before Jason Toad was even a Robin.

It really depends. DC continuity is super messy now. When everything was redone with the New 52, everyone was reset except Batman and Green Lantern. They refused to say what was still in continuity for either one, while also saying that some of the stories didn't happen.
Uh... Batwoman doesn't have a history of killing villains like Jason does, and she was never Batman's personal protege in the way that Jason and the other Robins were. It is perfectly understandable that he'd be more lenient with Batwoman than Red Hood.

If you want to save DC in the movies, take this storyline to set up a Red Hood cinematic trilogy. A darker realistic spin on DC’s universe that shows Jason and Roy taking out certain villains (penguin) that haven’t been touched by the different movies/shows too much while evading judgment from Batman Green Arrow and other DC main stays. This will allow the writers to be free from trying to make sense of the jumbled mess that’s the DCEU. Although the CW shows are in my opinion the best live action cohesion of the DC universe, I always felt like DC should try to out antihero or go darker than the MCU to regain relevance. Idk just an idea.
I like the crowbar but I just want the helmet back. It'd be perfect if he kept his old look, had a crowbar and his dual pistols since a red helmet and crowbar are things Joker has used in the past.
I'm guessing the reason he went so hard on Jason is because he still loves him as a son and to see Red Hood throw away the trust Batman gave him must have hurt him deeply. I love the character, design and ideology. Jason is right in the sense that many of the villains of Gotham don't deserve a second chance and should die, but he also knows when to hold back (like with that FBI agent in the vid).

In Batman Hush, he brutally beats Joker. Jason wasn't around for that, though. I feel like this really works as a good counterpart for Under The Red Hood. "I'm not talking about killing Dent, or Scarecrow or Penguin. Him. Just him." Jason referring to Joker. Batman's whole point is that it starts with just one, and slowly becomes a pattern. His point is proven.

I think this very much in character of Batman. He doesn't let anything get in between his no killing rule not friends, not family. That part of his character has been well established for a long time... Yes he is a flawed character and that's kinda what I like about him, makes a story more dynamic.

I feel like Bruce is conflicted because he's never hit the joker this hard. I wanna see how he truly feels about Jason. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure batwoman killed too and I don't see him delivering the same amount of punishment to her. It was as if he ultimately kicked Jason out of the bat family (although Jason was always the outcast)
How does Batman feel about Jason? He loves him, deeply. He saw him growing up, he trained him. Then failed him. Saw his rise from death, saw his "downfall". Yet still believed, that Jason can be the same person he was before, to be another hero, who does not kill, who is arrogant and naive like batman himself. And then Jason's betrayal (broken promise) hurt him, badly. And he lost it... badly. But truth is, he will never stop love and believe in him.
i think the new Red Hood costume is the amalgamation of Winter Soldier from Marvel and Scorpion from Mortal Combat with addition of crowbar and the new logo in his chest (as the sign of his complete separation from Batman). I think he should start using his crowbar more often as his signature weapon than his guns if he want to be superhero like Batman (because Batman is "ok" gives bad guys complete paralyze limbs or sends them into coma but not killing them). Personally, the All New Red Hood look is amazing.
By far my FAVORITE DC character! I have the complete collection of a death in the family, I have the first issue of Red Hood and the outlaws. My favorite movie is under the red hood. Red Hood is a pure bad ass! And I can’t tell you how many times I replayed the DLC for Arkham Knight. Okay I’m done. Lol

CW really should make a Red Hood TV show, with his dual pistols with tazors, and all of his other gadgets, the outlaws, villains of Black Mask, Deacon Blackfire, Two-Face, and many, many more, with cameos of Nightwing, Batwoman, and much more. The first episode could open up with Joker beating Jason as robin, and then make a jump cut to Red Hood after the explosion.
I feel like the new DCTV (where Titans is) would suit him more. In that he could actually be more accurate and since he already exists in the universe it would work better.
I believe and feel that. Heroes who kill are doing their jobs. Punisher and Todd moon knight etc. those who actually cripple or kill the bad guys, i just prefer them. Not only are they taking out the trash and ridding the world of crime but theyre still the good guys. The criminals had their chance and they dont deserve to live

This red hood run has been amazing, we’ve seen Jason’s softer side and great relationship with the new outlaws and his turn into the darkest version yet.
I love how Jason has proven Bruce wrong on so many occasions, hes proven that violence is a viable and possibly even preferable option to peaceful options. Hes proven that Batman is jumpy by not checking on Penguin before nearly killing Jason along with beating him more than anyone he has in a long long time. Love his mindset
I love this storyline.It's so classic Batman and Redhood.I love how Batman was just so dissapointed with his son.He couldn't bare to lose him again to the "darkside".I'm sure he was so proud seeing Jason fight crime the "noble way", that seeing him shooting Penguin like that, broke him in a way.Still, this wasn't the best way to react but we all know that Batman is far from perfect and that's why we love him.What he did was very Batman and very human. I'm also all in for a much more brutal Redhood

At the end of the dad Batman is the only one who can keep Jason in minimal check so sooner or later they'll meet up have another fight and whatever happens after that happens
I like that his new weapon is a crowbar. It fits with the aesthetic of the urban look and bring the Red Hood name to a whole new meaning and call back.
You do realize that if Batman can dodge a point blank bullet ( under the red hood ) then red hood could replicate that or use the katana to deflect bullets like grey fox from MGS.
Rhato annual 2 was actually pretty enjoyable in my opinion. It was cool to see Jason fighting alongside Harper again. It also set up Jason’s next storyline

I like the crowbar but I just want the helmet back. It'd be perfect if he kept his old look, had a crowbar and his dual pistols since a red helmet and crowbar are things Joker has used in the past.

I'm guessing the reason he went so hard on Jason is because he still loves him as a son and to see Red Hood throw away the trust Batman gave him must have hurt him deeply.
I love the character, design and ideology. Jason is right in the sense that many of the villains of Gotham don't deserve a second chance and should die, but he also knows when to hold back (like with that FBI agent in the vid).

I love this chapter. All Hail Red Hood being the vigilante he truly is, with a violent streak and man does he make it work. This version of Red Hood and the Outlaws made me appreciate his character

I think this very much in character of Batman. He doesn't let anything get in between his no killing rule not friends, not family. That part of his character has been well established for a long time... Yes he is a flawed character and that's kinda what I like about him, makes a story more dynamic.

I feel like Bruce is conflicted because he's never hit the joker this hard. I wanna see how he truly feels about Jason. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure batwoman killed too and I don't see him delivering the same amount of punishment to her. How does Batman feel about Jason? He loves him, deeply. He saw him growing up, he trained him. Then failed him. Saw his rise from death, saw his "downfall". Yet still believed, that Jason can be the same person he was before, to be another hero, who does not kill, who is arrogant and naive like batman himself. And then Jason's betrayal (broken promise) hurt him, badly. And he lost it... badly. But truth is, he will never stop love and believe in him.

i think the new Red Hood costume is the amalgamation of Winter Soldier from Marvel and Scorpion from Mortal Combat with addition of crowbar and the new logo in his chest (as the sign of his complete separation from Batman). I think he should start using his crowbar more often as his signature weapon than his guns if he want to be superhero like Batman (because Batman is "ok" gives bad guys complete paralyze limbs or sends them into coma but not killing them). Personally, the All New Red Hood look is amazing.

Such a great series Red Hood and the Outlaws are. Loved this recent issue. The new suit was actually pretty cool and made sense for Jason Todd to wear. Cant wait to read more!!!!!
CW really should make a Red Hood TV show, with his dual pistols with tazors, and all of his other gadgets, the outlaws, villains of Black Mask, Deacon Blackfire, Two-Face, and many, many more, with cameos of Nightwing, Batwoman, and much more. The first episode could open up with Joker beating Jason as robin, and then make a jump cut to Red Hood after the explosion.

I love this storyline.It's so classic Batman and Redhood.I love how Batman was just so dissapointed with his son.He couldn't bare to lose him again to the "darkside".I'm sure he was so proud seeing Jason fight crime the "noble way", that seeing him shooting Penguin like that, broke him in a way.Still, this wasn't the best way to react but we all know that Batman is far from perfect and that's why we love him.What he did was very Batman and very human.

At the end of the dad Batman is the only one who can keep Jason in minimal check so sooner or later they'll meet up have another fight and whatever happens after that happens
I like that his new weapon is a crowbar. It fits with the aesthetic of the urban look and bring the Red Hood name to a whole new meaning and call back.

You do realize that if Batman can dodge a point blank bullet ( under the red hood ) then red hood could replicate that or use the katana to deflect bullets like grey fox from MGS.

Red Hood’s helmet is his “Hood” so putting a hoody on to of that is just dumb
but he doesn't have his helmet anymore because he just has the mask and face cover. So it's a face cover, mask, and an actual hood.

Really cool story but the writer shoots himself in the foot with the justification of batwoman kill vs Jason's kill, and the whole identity reveal of television and penguin aren't good for the long run.
I love the new look, it's more street and urban, and i'm loving the more violent combat.
