He could’ve headed a dynasty if he had one more superstar (we never saw him with a 20+ ppg scorer. People call him selfish but look at the roster, who the fuck was he holding back?
Sorry for the ranting essay my friend, but I love big Pat as a player and he doesn’t get his flowers at all imo
@@seank3410 naw it's cool bro, my dad told me he wasn't better than Shaq, Olajuwon, or David Robinson. But all the 5's of the 80s & 90s gave each other the business and when I look at his highlights right off bat I can tell he was miles ahead of Dwight offensively. Defensively I see he had yrs where he avgd 4 blocks a gm but the competition amongst bigs back then was more fierce so I'll just say that I think he was better
I love Shanon but he's crazy on this one...Dwight was a great defender no doubt but Ewing was a great defender plus a great offensive player ...also Ewing did it longer and had a better jump shot and foul shooting....Ewing carried a whole franchise...its not even close to be honest Ewing hands down better
PE was a Better Complete Center than D12
Ya'll should do Charles Barkley highlights from phily
JORDAN WAS BLOCKED MORE THEN, I THOUGHT HE WAS
21:30 THIS is why I hate James Edwards. Defense: D.
just a shame this historically horrible management could not put a team around this man around this time in his career. they did the same to melo too, although i think ewing was far better.
I don't think ad is better than patrick Ewing
Embiid would smoke Pat one on one
😂🤡
Ewing is slow and sluggish with very little endurance; Embiid is Olajuwon with three point shooting skills (can't say that about Ewing). Embiid would still smoke Pat
@@hughjass8383 add delusional to your nickname
@@hughjass8383 so to you embiid is better than hakeem??? because he spam 3s lol
@@ziginaigra Embiid is indeed better than the Dream because not only is he better conditioned with more endurance with the training regime players go through today than they did before, but Embiid can drain threes like Jeff Hornacek
700 likes is crazy!
Add Lebron James 2019-20 season
Not in the same category of greatness ofc but ts is literally karl anthony towns 🤷🏾♂️ and yes again they definitely not the same beast
Your joking right?
Too bad the team didn't get good until after he peaked as a player. He was still really good but never like this
You add this Patrick Ewing team and they go sweep all series on the way chip. I like the hater boston announcer saying Ewing in the lane 7 seconds ..ha ha losers boston cheerleaders
He was good.. but olajuwon just better
That’s bullshit. Before 1994 Hakeem couldn’t deal with Ewing. Ewing’s knees went bad after 93. He was all heart afterward. But from 85-93, Ewing was a savage in the post. And that includes bitchslapping Hakeem.
@@Jimmy_BX you can have your opinion. And so do I.
@@hendrikwidjaya1494 and your opinion its based on BULLSHIT. FOH with that fake news garbage. Ewing used to kick Hakeem’s teeth in on the regular. Ewing was straight double-teamed in the Finals, MINUS Hakeem defending him. But all people talk about was Hakeem beating up a hobbled Ewing. Thankfully videos like this exist.
The Dream was better but not by much Ewing held his own.
@@ThePrayinmantiz correction…. He had a better career because he had better teammates. He was NOT better than Ewing as a player prior to 1994.
