[4K] CLOSEUP Delta Boeing 717 Thrust Reversers and Taxiing

Here is a long form video of a Delta Airlines Boeing 717 after landing. Closeup shot of thrust reversers engaged then taxis down runway 9L/27R at Chicago O'Hare International Airport 7/2/2024.
After researching it's registration, it was once owned by former airline, AirTran Airways.

Notice the registration number, N997AT. This was originally an AirTran jet. AirTran was bought by Southwest who leased all of the 717s to Delta and kept AirTran's 737-700s.

I'm guessing that's why the last two letters are AT? Honestly didn't even realize that!

@@scottstoriz1104 Yes, that is correct. I think Delta's reg numbers end in DL for the planes they own. They probably left the original reg number because they don't own these, they are leased. I probably flew this very airplane numerous times while with Air Tran.

I flew on the B717s a lot when Air Tran was flying them. It was a modern DC-9.
