(they will never do this, but here's my dream list of what would really step up Battelfront 2 from Good game to fantastic game)
They have to add in Sullust back, Mustafar (Which really aren't alike at all) Mygeeto, & Coruscant with the Jedi Temple & the Chancellors office w/ an outdoor terrace section (where Anakin docked his ship). Here's the main changes that should be in the update
Weather options (day, twilight, night - Sunny, cloudy, rainy) and have randomized for players in a game. They can take creative freedom with Mygeeto and make it snowing, maybe ash for Mustafar, or disable some weathers for some places.

Magma guards, Imperial guards.
*ADDED HEROES -*
JANGO FETT, MACE WINDU, QUI GON JIN, SHAAK TI.

*COSTUMES -*
Anakin Padawan skin, Obi Wan Episode II skin (maybe Padawan as well, I'll accept it). For Darth Vader, I'm not entirely against them adding a dark side Anakin with a concealed hood and yellow eyes (and a red lightsaber just to differentiate). You've just gotta add Darth Sidious as Chancellor Palpatine with the gold lightsaber and intense red robes (legendary). General Grevious needs a cape skin, it's just unacceptable...and it won't look that goofy with the scatter run.
*ABILITIES -*
I would really like Count Dookus force lightning to have air shock that send you flying back, but you don't take any force damage, just the electricity zap (the floor thing is so dumb). They need to stop making Palpatine a lightning storm, and instead have the lightning strike from the last game/lightsaber slash/and I think an ability that either keeps the storm or instead makes him use unpredictable attacks in succession that do 30% less damage than a normal lightsaber hit but have 3 repeated lightsaber stabs. I'd also like more fluidity with lightsabers instead of relying on awkward dashing around everywhere. Running while meeleing with the lightsaber should be a thing they work on, but maybe that would be too overpowered and hard to animate (doubt). That's about it for now, I think the majority are nicely fair and work well though Bossk needs to stop killing every clone trooper with his OP poison bombs and immediate explosion bomb attack.
*Other appearance changes -*
Anakins face can use an update, I'm not really getting Hayden Christensen fully. Palpatine needs to be more sickly light grey in his face with red around his eyes and a smile, CONSISTENTLY. No weird grunt face, I want that creepy sorry expression with the sith smile and the glowing vengeful eyes of a sith...
Oh yah! The other thing they need to add is Stormtrooper factions, with the orange and red sashes. Also I want the Tie trooper back! That was the best skin.
I have 2 requests for Space battles
More locations with less junk in the way like: Above Coruscant, The Endor Moon with the Death Star 2 in the background. And how about simulated era accurate battles with capital ships and their armada on both sides, and then said space battle ends off and then the tie fighters have to retreat to the Star Destroyer or the X Wings etc have to retreat to the Home 1, then it's a ground battle with a map that has a hangar section that leads directly to the power cells/bridge (they'd make it imaginarily work despite that massive gap of distance that would be). It would be AWESOME I do say, and then of course at the end similar to the Republic & separatist battles the ships would be destroyed and either faction would win. ANYWAY THE OTHER REQUEST ISSsss, of course that beeeautiful Lambda Imperial Shuttle as a Hero ship.
Final hopes: would be a Order 66 map where you play as Jedi versus slightly more overpowered Clone Troopers very similar to Ewok Hunt. God that would be such a hit. It would take place in the Jedi Temple absolutely, a map made for it, same as Ewok Hunt being Endor. And I also really want a beautiful nightime snowy map out in the forest of Starkiller base (probably with a First order small base station to the left and a resistance landing operation to the right on the outskirts of the map but primarily a snowy forest. Would be so good, sooo good.
So! Thoughts! Too ambitious? Am I asking for something that would be a 4 update, 20 years kind of wait? Do you like my suggestions! Love to hear ideas about what you want to add. Maybe like my beautiful outer rim pistol back or uhm, Star card pickup??? I certainly miss that.

@@Brickersss I miss my Dt-12. It was my beautiful cute headshot gun and I treated it like my Palpatine golden lightsaber. I think I got 70 head shots one round. The E-33 can go eat a curb though. I loved the unique guns god they were so fun and felt so perfectly s
Star Wars. The K-16 Bryar was that fancy gun I associate with the Death Star pack that will forever remind me of a Death Star hallway. I also loved guns like the A180 and the X-8 night sniper because I could never use them good but loved the way they looked. Also the DT-29 Heavy blaster.
Honestly I'm shocked looking at the Scarif, Deathstar, Bespin, and especially Hoth maps of Battlefront 1 definitive edition (2015), because it's just so much better and more beautifully realistic looking.

I tried queuing up on PC the other day and the servers were offline. Was that just a one off case?

About half the time when I launch the game on PC it says the servers are offline, you just have to keep clicking the connect button and dismissing the error messages until it works, the servers are definitely still up.
