Graphics peaked in 2015. I legitimately haven't seen any improvement since. Just bloated download sizes. FFVII: Rebirth somehow only looks as good as MGSV did all that time ago.
I disagree, there are so many game releases every month now, you won‘t be able to play them all even you had nothing else to do. If you focus on the cashgrabs and bug ridden failures, yes it seems bad. But there are so many great games, that it is very easy to ignore most of the bullshit

Battlefront was designed to look and feel like the Original Trilogy movies and it was great at that. Unfortunately, it ONLY was the Original Trilogy and didn’t even have enough content in the base game to justify $60.
I thought it was great. Simple, clean, fun. BF2 has much more stuff but also more grinding. It's nice to have all this stuff but also a bit of a chore to figure it all out and unlock all the star cards.

Therese is a mod remove all clone and new era stuff from battlefront 2 to menus also if you want another mod replace og trilogy solders and heros every map. But battlefront 2 not have big maps on arcade like first games and graphicly not level of first game. Splitscreen mod better for heros on bftf2 more heros yet bcouse vhcles not in many maps and limited for offline mod splitscreen vehicle dogfights only in spacecsection. Skirmish offline first game include all online things so playable splitscreen too this give first game value for future.

Wanna know something even funnier? Storm Commandos only exist in Disney's canon because of a really bad Clash of Clans ripoff called Star Wars Galactic Defense.
I think it's less to do with the graphics being ahead of their time, and more to do with graphics stagnating and somehow declining since the 2013-2015 era of gaming.
I have very fond memories of playing this game with my dad. He would get home from work, we’d boot up our X-Box 1 and play all the wave missions we could. Last time I played was Christmas of 2017 when I got SWBF II. Great MP but the single player modes were not nearly as fun. Ah, the memories. Great video btw, got a lot of nostalgia.
Went through the wampa cave as vader on hoth. Got toward the exit and a single guy came through and just stopped and stared at me. I ignited my saber and force choked him. Core memory unlocked haha. Used to always put on some music and play this game in my barracks room.

I really had people tell me that BF 2017 graphics were better than BF 2015. This game definitely had the superior graphics, but its downfall was the amount box content it had up until 2017 came out. I still loved playing this game every day after school.
The multiplayer for this game is still pretty active on playstation, especially the 6 paper games modes like cargo and you can occasionally find walker assault matches
What you should do, is by an old decommissioned WW2 machine gun and remove the clip. That's how they got a lot of props for star wars in the first place. The E-11 is modded Sterling L2A3 submachine gun, at least if the internet is to be believed.

No, this "game" was just EA trying to get on the "Titanfall hype" train by making a product that is basically a multiplayer only Battlefield game (with an insulting barebone offline mode) with a Star Wars skin.
I remember when I was in 4th grade and this game was coming out. I already loved Star Wars (the clone wars especially) and my 8 or 9 year old self thought it was the coolest thing on earth and I begged my parents to buy it. Eventually I pestered them enough to get it on thanksgiving and I played it for almost 100 hours with my best friend. The game wasn’t perfect but it was a core memory for me as a child and gave me a lot of good memories and feelings. Really nostalgic seeing these old clips and I honestly wish I could go back at some points and play it for the first time again.
I love this game but saddly ppl don't play it anymore, and I wasn't able to play it at it's peak because I was too young to be able to buy my self pc and my crappy laptop form 2009 couldn't keep up with this game and when I finally got better pc it was halfway 2017, people did play it at taht time BUT it wasn't a pleasant experience with people running full overpowerd DLC loadouts

I haven’t played it for years and repurchased it on sale for 5$ and I feel ur pain,I’m constantly dying because the whole level advantage thing. Also little side note try changing your server location most of the time I’m still finding max lobbies (on console) so I do hope you can start playing the game again

I remember this being the first game I ever pre-ordered. I remember seeing the pre lease game footage and being absolutely blown away. I upgraded for this game. I payed the $75 for the pre-order and got a couple of hours of early access. It was amazing! Then I played it on release day.....
Battlefront 2015 was soooo good, notable maps were hoth (regular and HvV) The DLC maps were incredible, especially the ep 5 ones, though it's been so long. Heroes were so rare to see that they felt super impactful but weren't game breaking unless they were a god gamer, vs. BF2 where they are slightly less impactful but dictate a large percentage of the fights due to how common they were.
My best friend and I still play it now and again, and we enjoy it FAR more than Battlefront 2. It's just more arcade-y and fun. Drop Zone is the greatest game mode of all time.

This game was honestly kind of its own thing. It had very few similarities to the games before it and it never got close to returning to that formula like its sequel almost did. It was a lot of fun, though. I sunk a lot of time into it and despite a good list of frustrations I did have, nothing can take away from how immersive this game was. Even now, if I hop into a match, I feel as though I can SMELL the locations you’re fighting in. No other Star Wars game has made me feel like I’m not just in the movies, but the places they were filmed. Breathtaking.
The Xbox version had a decent amount of people last I saw. Probably game pass boosting numbers. Good luck on dlc though, which is a shame since the Death Star dlc was awesome

2015 was such a good year for my favorite games. Fallout 4, Dying Light, Witcher 3 and so much more. This battlefront game is among them, though I can't lie, it is rather forgettable compared to the other big titles.

I got this game for Christmas in 2015 when I was 13, after my mother had passed away just two days before on the 23rd. I distinctly remember the joy this game brought me; waking up every morning and playing it with my friends for hours. I’ll always be grateful for the distraction that it provided during such a difficult time in my life, and I actually have some happy memories of that Christmas to look back on now as a result.
I was around the same age as you when I got it. Even to this day I remember it fondly as one of my favorite gifts I've ever received. I had bad internet and just played the mini game it included during download for hours on end and was having a blast.
for anyone wonder, in Consoles (XBOX AND PLAY STATION) the game is still alive, and pretty alive, you can set your region to US EAST in game settings and you can find matches in any game mode, 40 players, 12 players and DLC, on PC is a bit inactive but you can set your region to EUROPE and find heroes vs villains, outer rim and 12 players modes all days and DLCs & 40 players modes on weekends
If only the game had a custom server browser, I remember at the time it being super frustrating in Matchmaking when it would dump you in empty lobbies constantly
I heard mixed things about this one when it came out, it’s kinda crazy that they didn’t have a resistance vs fo mode given that it came out like a month before the force awakens
They do and gameplay is more important sometimes. Otherwise the game would be broken with people just constantly firing full auto blasters (also it's more of an overheat thing and not a reload)
Every weapon and hero was absolutely busted in this game. Homing shot abuse, 100 dmg impact grenade in a game with 3rd person view, Boba Fett enjoyers going 72-1 in a round, jetpack bunny hopping with the bowcaster, Lando power shot glitch melting AT-AT walkers, explosive shot on burst fire guns melting down Darth Vador in seconds, and so much more.
I played it for all of a few minutes back in the day. But it seems like I missed the hype and just not needed to come back to. Still I'm glad you found some fun around it.

DC-17m, the gun the clone commandos use is definitely my favorite gun in Star Wars. But I’m probably biased cause of how much I love the RC game.

They do and gameplay is more important sometimes. Otherwise the game would be broken with people just constantly firing full auto blasters (also it's more of an overheat thing and not a reload)

Every weapon and hero was absolutely busted in this game.
Homing shot abuse, 100 dmg impact grenade in a game with 3rd person view, Boba Fett enjoyers going 72-1 in a round, jetpack bunny hopping with the bowcaster, Lando power shot glitch melting AT-AT walkers, explosive shot on burst fire guns melting down Darth Vador in seconds, and so much more.
My favorite blaster was the A280, it reminds me of an MP5 with a mid-range scope on it, I find it pretty effective with getting headshots
I got a Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker replica with a soundboard and pixel blade. Best use of a bonus ive ever spent.
I have almost 1000 hours spent in this game, and the game is still pretty active in the ps4/PS5 community.
