I think what makes some more successful is having one ink color that isn't water-reactive so it maintains some of the splatter texture. It looks like the black ink is even acting as a resist and kind of repelling the other colors, creating those sharp areas of contrast. Lovely.

The last splatter and spritz you showed is like an abstract of a field of flowers. I like the colors. Glad you are feeling better.

This is a fun technique. I love ink smooshing and this is just as great for getting a variety of colors moving on your card. So sorry you got Covid. That's the first thing my husband thinks of when someone says they are going on a cruise. Glad you are doing better now.
Fun to do with the grands this summer AND I may just give it a brief spin on my turntable. Great inspiration and beautiful results.

Thanks so much for this experiment. I love the way it turned out! I like to use Lindy’s Magical‘s for this technique, but this would allow me to use up some of my many inks. I’m going to give it a try.😊

The strongest pigmented colour will bleed the most. I use this technique when I’ve got a background I don’t like and also for fields of flowers paintings , I spritz and watch the magic. 😂

Question - you said to use C9 or SSS inks. But wouldn't distress ink work as well? If not, why? 🤔
Gld to hear you're feeling better. I've had Coxid 3 times. Here we've been told that tests will show up positive for 3 months. So that's probably why yours still show that.
In the unedited replay I mentioned you can use any ink that is not waterproof. So any Distress ink will work.
