  • Hey Ya'll, welcome to our little hobby farm. I'm thrilled you're here! I hope you'll find a comfy chair, a cup of something hot and wonderful, and spend sometime with us.
You'll find this recipe and all our other recipes online at www.shepherdingpeppersfarm.com!
You'll typically find me in one of two places, the garden or the kitchen. Teaching and sharing this amazing world of growing your food, cooking from scratch, utilizing your harvest, and homesteading with our family, is a passion. We hope to encourage people to grow their own food, feel confident in homesteading, and live a life both messy and beautiful, because this life comes with a bit of dirt and a lot of love.
Most often the recipes for the videos will be found on our websites www.shepherdingpeppersfarm.com or in the video description.
Every week you'll find us enjoying the wildness of raising a large family in the country. Welcome to the garden, to the kitchen, and to our small farm in South Carolina.
Faith is like a seed; plant it in your heart. God gives the harvest at the appointed time. (Mark 4:26-27,28-29)

I don’t sit either friend❤ ever since I started homeschooling I realized I stand until I go to bed. Always doing something never idle. Prepping, cooking, cleaning, playing, etc

You have so many peppers, green peppers grow bad in AZ. Green chilies are awesome expanding my grow this year. Roasted green chilies nothing like it.

My husband and I used to grow bell peppers. I made stuffed peppers with them. Until I realized he never ate the pepper. Just the stuffing. 😂 Yet he continued growing them. Crazy! Your peppers are beautiful! And so many! Great job!

You’ve inspired me to grow way more peppers next year! Im always buying the little cans of diced chiles and definitely want to do it myself now that I know which peppers work well. Also I love the darker doors in your kitchen now.

Your home is like ours but we have grandchildren running around playing regularly! Bell Peppers are one of our granddaughters favorites. Your growing approach has yielded some beautiful produce and herbs. God bless ❤

OMG your daughter is so cute helping you cook dinner. 🥰 Oh, I absolutely LOVE pickled green chilies and I didn't know which pepper they were. Thanks for explaining which peppers are used for each recipe. I'll be growing some anaheim peppers next year just to make green chilies. BAHAHAHA I about died laughing when you were doing the really loud high pitched voice. I swear I do this with my kiddos every single day because they are so loud. 🤣

I really enjoy watching all of your videos! Just one question, when you're saving pepper seeds how confident are you that they're not cross pollinated when you plant them all together? I have a lot of peppers that I would love to save seeds from but I don't want weird peppers next year!

Wait, what seeds do you dehydrate? is that only the ones to sell? Should I be doing that with mine I save?
