At least they cordially shaked hands this time! That's progress lol
Didn't he leave the court telling the chair umpire that he was going to get him fired though?
@@soysaucehairdye7869 probably, but I was talking about Medvedev and Tsitsipas who have a, let's say, story together lol Stef is spoiled and Meddy is a bit loose sometimes lol
@@Edu2503 I got what you meant, but I'm just saying he is still a petulant child even if he was sort of ok with Meddy at the end. I'm pretty sure as he left the court after the handshakes he said something about getting 'fired' towards the chair umpire as he walked towards the exit. It's not in this clip and you have to pay close attention to the very end of the full replay to hear it, but it sounded like he was still very much pissed at the chair umpire and threatening to get him fired just a minute after politely shaking the chair umpire's hand.
I mean they’ve barely played in the last couple of years, maybe it’s mellowed out
@@soysaucehairdye7869 I know, that's why I said "at least" he cordially shaked Meddy's hand. That's progress! He's a brat but not as much as he was a couple of years ago.
That umpire was hilarious, "maybe you should watch more matches" lol
He was right!
Utterly stupid umpire.
Umpire was the star of the match lol
@@peterhammer6915 i thought the umpire handled this argument very well and was arguing reasonably. He just followed the rules, it's not his fault they start the shot clock automatically. I do think they could be a bit more lenient with these violations sometimes, however they want to be objective and in this case it was probably warranted. Stefanos had received a violation in the first set, also after going to the towel (and then going back to it a second time to put it away neatly). While the ump called the time violation, Stef ignored him, continued his serve motion and fired a serve. I thought that was hilarious. Ump gave him another first serve, Medwedew didn't complain. Clearly you could see Stefanos is in a difficult place right now, and playing his archnemesis Daniil didn't help.
Watch more matches and watches.
"time violation", now let's speak about it for 5 mn...
He probably did it on purpose trying to catch a breath.
@@danielkladnik418 agree, tsitsipas bad sportsmanship
@@danielkladnik418 被你看穿了
@@gavinhou9327 nah it's just trying everything to win, it's fair. He took a time violation already, might as well "use it"
😂
Is it me or do Chinese crowds really like Medvedev. Haven’t seen a pro Medvedev crowd in a while
They love Djokovic too lol
W China
Communists! lol. I'm joking
Its because Medvedev is 1% Chinese
They've warmed up to him. And they are a stoic people. The fact that Meddy kept calm while Stefanos was having his tantrum turned them against Stefanos.
@@CL2-Well Sane people like Novak unlike u
Lmao Stef looked like a 5 year old trying to negotiate with an adult.
My thoughts exactly! He ain't no McEnroe!
I suppose if he yelled or smashed rackets he`d look like an adult to you. Some people are too civilized for you ....its true...
@@nikosgr9290 can't see the logic there mate
@@nikosgr9290 Tsitsipas is not civilised. He is a spoiled little brat, always has been, always will be.
@@CH-yp5bythe other guy said “he ain’t no McEnroe” (who was famous for temper tantrums, clearly suggesting that yelling and smashing racquets is “manly,” where tsitsipas negotiating without doing that is seen as childlike. Which is obviously stupid
2:45 MEDE COOKING TODAY
Tsitsipas is such a prima donna. Get on with the game, you know the rules.
'i'm the best on the tour, the most consistent' lol the audacity of this kid
@@mkader2494 he probably meant in the context of taking time to serve
@@mkader2494he's not wrong. He's quick with his serve always.
He was feeling the heat..
@@theyruinedyoutubeagain certainly but the clock never lies
Was here only for the handshake. 🤝
😅
same
One thing I really like about Tsitsipas is that he never grunts when he plays.
Medvedev est génial 😱 il tire des passings croisés gagnants alors qu'il est complètement au fond du cour et débordé, et ses courses vers l'avant sont tellement rapide et précise
C'est une pieuvre
Tout à fait vrai !
Vintage meddy. I swear this tourbament has beought back the old medvedev with these incredible outlandish shots. Maybe it’s the chinese fans? They give him a lot of support there. Its like his inner child is happy again haha
LETS GO MEDDY 🎉🎉🎉 STRONG
it feels so weird for this to not be on centre court
absolute Maddy!
Did shittypas really said that he is the most consistent player on the tour?🤣🤣 2:02
I think he meant RE serving in time
Consistently shite but it's nice to have him on tour
Consistent in terms of service speed. Use your brain
Yeah he wasn't today though. Clearly off in his head a little. He's always moving quite fast, so shouldn't really have a problem with time, but going to the towel cost him. And he's also not in the best physical shape and has trouble recovering from long rallyes. That's where the shot clock doesn't help obviously.
He did and he's not the slowest when it comes to serving either. But he lost concentration after.
After that ridiculous complaint he had with the empire, everything went downhill...
Well done, Daniil. Confident and calm
As soon as I tuned in I saw tsitsipas complaining to the umpire and demanding the supervisor. What can you say 🤷♂️
He's a small kid who doesn't know how to fight
Or he could be a small cat lol
Tsitsipas doesn’t understand what the umpire is saying. Rules is rules.
2:47
Its nice to see the fans on Meddy's side. He should get more support. I think China and Russia are friends so it makes sense.
Lots of people like Meddy that aren't Chinese or Russian. His interviews are great and comes off as a chill and an intelligent guy. Love Meddy!
The jigsaws are all falling into place...
They are not biased towards some like western
h'e a likeable player either way.
Tsitsipas is so fun to watch. I actually really like him & his game. I might be a sucker for a tall 1HBH. He's gotta get out of his own way though. Everyone deals w/the same serve clock, that was the whole pt.
Stef you gotta keep your composure man. you've got the tools to be right up there in the top 3 but you're your own worst enemy in moments like that
Nice Meddy
To lose in the next round???
@@nikimichelaki4345almost all would lose to sinner
where's the drama ? It's a straightforward win for Meddy.
The drama is about the time violation. I, too, was misled.
@@brandonchan8255 i got that but there is no drama - the greek just violated the rules. End of story
@@autobeauties7265 they shortened it here. Stefanos sat down and refused to play at 2:2, even called the supervisor. After 5 minutes of nonsensical discussion he continued playing.
For as much as I don't like Tsitsipas's personality on court (even if he's more chill lately) you gotta admit that the clock starting has been criticized by many players
Yes and i understand to some degree. Tennis is a physically and mentally taxing sport, sometimes you may want to take an extra breath or simply gather your thoughts. For decades, tennis didn't have a clock. Now they feel degraded and being treated like robots in a constantly faster-moving world. Somehow i don't blame them.
if they don't agree, they have to raise the issue at a proper forum. not on court when the game has already started. when you agree to start the game, you also agree the rules set.
You are a Shittypas secret fanboy lol
i think the exact time on the clock could be adjusted, but it impacts the players equally. they're not choosing to only call out tsitsipas on it
@@joddle23 i think the ump calling out the score as the starting point for the shot clock was a perfect solution. It gave the umpires a few seconds of leeway to adjust to the situation and also the announcement of the score is a great way to start the "inner clock" of the player.
great respect for the umpire. calm and collected.
Medvedev is a great tennis player that deserves success yet seems generally unhappy. Would be nice to see him happy.
What? He is usually happy
Meddy is happy but calm
Tsitsipas is a small kid who doesn't know how to fight.
The first of Meddy’s many iconic quotes
Wasn't it "small cat" he once said? Or maybe that's from another Meddy quote?
@@snickaren111 ye thats another
@@snickaren111no. It was the umpire that Meddy called "small cat", complaining about him not giving Tsitsi a code violation for coaching.
He imploded after the argument.
Tsitsipas showed his character in that exchange with the ump. He’ll never win any slams with that childish attitude
You will never understand black metal while listening to Mayhem😂. Just kidding
I agree with u...he ll never win even if he becomes mature 😂
honestly, I love both players. but.. to think that they're two of the best players of their generation and then to compare the level of this game to games between Alcaraz and Sinner... it's just shocking
goat for a reason... that reaction at the net in the 8th game... incredible
Stefanos showing why he's one of the most likable players in the game 😂
I learnt something about problem solving with this umpire today and dealing with silly excuses.well done😂

Bravo Medvedev Hurra
Stef has been dire on hardcourts for a while now since that Australian Open final loss in 2023. It wasn't surprising that Daniil wrapped this up in 2 sets, even whilst not playing as well as he could play.
It was downhill for the fragile little porcelain doll after the time violation 😂
Medvedev and Tsitsipas saga continues
Daniil Show
Russia's got talent. 🍀👍🍀
I must say in this game Medvedev is the adult in the room. The Chinese crowd generally don’t like quarrel with the officials and that’s why they are cheering Medvedev and they have nothing against Tsitsipas per se.
I liked the handshake between the two players !
Stef has come a long way as far as his sportsmanship and what not
They played each other since they were teens. The rivalry is real.
Great high quality resolution right here
Stef had no idea about Tiafoe’s meltdown over the time violation yesterday lmao
It showed his head is not in the game, he's not following what's happening.
Did stef just say what I think he said? 2:00
I highly respect "It may help if you listen".
Damn Tsitsi is so mentally weak. Such a gifted player, I hope he can up his game still, and challenge for big titles apart from Monte Carlo next year.
The referee responded to Tsitsipas very professionally
The game has passed Stefan’s by and his GS window is probably closed now I would say
Looks like it. Though i think he may still have a shot at FO if he gets his act together and has a bit of draw luck. He played an excellent claycourt season in the spring.
I can barely see the ball at this tournament. Don't remember it being like this last year
Sfortunato Meddy.
Somehow I just like Meddy - he's so likeable, a fighter. Of course he plays differently - and it doesn't matter if others find his game boring, but I'd love him to finally & once again - win! I also have the feeling that something is happening with him, something is changing - harder shots etc. And he's Russian - so what? I saw comments yesterday that badmouthed Safiullin because of that - they came from Germans, typical.
Meddy has nothing to do with the war, it's Putin's own war.
Thank you meddy for shutting this down his ego again, so hard to watch tsitsipas
The umpire roasted Stefanos in that exchange lol
"I'm the best server on the tour, I'm the most consistent" 😂
MVP on this match was clearly the umpire was a savage!
Stef needs to stay focused and not get down on himself over this loss. He definitely had a look in both sets, just not concentrated. He is trending back in the right direction though.
Always noce to see my favourite player win.
Who's my favourite player?
Glad you asked.
Everybody who plays Tsitsipas.
Meddy knew Tsitsipas was going for the body shot. 😆
Stef has had his day it ain’t gonna get any better
Dad as coach for far too long really messed him up
The Chinese crowds are awesome 🔥You can tell they all fkn LOVE tennis.
How funny are the comments about Stefanos`s objection about the time violation.Seems some people prefer to have players like Kyrgios, Medvedev etc to scream shout and abuse the umpire. shows the level of their civilazation!!
Well done Medvedev, congrats. Once again we have a baby Stef complaining like usual !!
Tsitsipas got passed over and over again at the net yet he kept coming in, silly boy
Tsitsi-PASS
He was successful a few times and that enticed him to try again. Also, he doesn't have the patience, composure, and endurance to play Daniil from the back - certainly not at the moment. I think he needs to attack the net to beat Medwedew, but he's got to do it more intelligently. His forehand is very accurate but doesn't have the blistering pace of Carlos', so he always needs to be prepared for a difficult volley.
When no single backhands left tennis will be very boring....
stefanos certainly didnt see the tiafoe safuillin match yesterday and yes they are giving out so many time violations
Thats the best umpire on tour i think Layano and Tourt will have tough competition for slam finals
It's sad to see how little Tsitsipas can do
Stef is the best and should have won. He is the best player in the world. He has the legendary one handed backhand which according to legend is the mark of a TRUE champion champion. And long hair. He is roga 2.0
Meddy owns this guy
Tsitsipas is such a sourpuss. By the end of the first he started running out of gas and when he started losing points at the beginning of the second, he started sulking and looking elsewhere for an excuse.... ahh... let's argue with the chair umpire, one of the best and fairest around.
that was so pleasurable watching that haha
Please upload in 60fps
Medvedev always plays Tsitsipas like it's personal lmfao.
Medvedev serve and forehand are weaker now compare to his 2021 don't know what happened to him
I think he's dealing with a shoulder injury
No WTA handshake this time, there's progress 🤣🤣
Battle of the Brats!
Medvedev was the better player on the day and deserved the win. He served well and was solid from the baseline. He had 11 break points. As soon as that exchange happened with the umpire, you knew it was downhill from there. He already had a warning in the first set. You just have to watch the clock and not put yourself in that situation. Even then, if he had just shrugged it off and kept fighting, he could have won the 2nd set being up a break and all. Totally threw in the towel after that time violation. Double faulted on the 2nd serve, and then started shooting wildly and erratically from that point forward
Tsitsipas is such a head case‼He needs a head doctor & his results will improve dramatically‼
Whats dramatic here? We know Vlog guy would lost 😊
This violation for time is ridiculous. Is like the VAR in football, interrupt the game and frustrate the players. ATP getting worse.
Now is the umpire's blame for Tsitsipas 😂😂
This wasnt centre court. What? Who was playing centre court.
This is one of the most interesting rivalries.
Stef has such beautifup strokes and medvedev is an excellent scrambler and tactician.
I find more watchable than sinner alcaraz final last week
Probably sinner vs shelton on CC
@novurdim they only played one match on centre court that day? Yes but the world number 1 is automatically on centre court.
Is Wawrinka still in the draq.
This weird 10day format is so confusing to follow
Umpire didn’t walked away after argument
"A small kid. A small kid who doesn't know how to fight"
Stephanie Sisipas lost to Medvedev again. Its not fair on Stephanie, they made her play against men in China.
Everything is clear with that match. Tsitsipas was a small kid and Fergus Murphy was a small cat
Tsitsipas reminds me of a small kid who does not know to fight.
Ah… el Classico. The bullshit Russian vs the small kid who doesn’t know how to fight.
Congrats to Meddy 🎉🎉
Now I can go back and replay this match knowing Meddy won 😅
Something needs to be done about these time violation rules. These players are human beings.....not Robots.
Tiafoe, Zverev, Tsitsipas... interesting how it's only the players who previously had attitude issues complaining
you don't hear anything from Alcaraz or Sinner
Alcaraz did complain about the time violation too. But not on court.
Medvedev owns Tsitsipas 😂.
I've never seen Tsitsipas beat him.
Tsitsi is not strong enough to break into the axes of the top 5 players. He isn’t far away- but must something do-to improve a bit.
