My opinion is simple, this 2 guys are next level compared with the rest of the players atm (ofc Novak still around but he will go soon) they are here to prove themselves in this next years. RF, RN & ND did it in their time. Lets just enjoy them, whoever wins, it is a gift to be able to watch them raise and win as much as the big 3. Thank you.

As I see it peak Alcaraz is better than Sinner but like everyone Alcaraz can't mantain that peak for far to long. In the other hand average Sinner is far better than average Alcaraz. Basically the outcome of the match depends on which version of the players show up on court!

I agree with you. Alcaraz has a type of game where I personally just dont see it lasting pasg 28/29. Its extremely explosive and this style doesnt tend to age well. Sinner seems like he is getting better and better with a style that can go into his mid 30's

@@HolDNutz people said the exact same thing of Rafa. Like, i remember being 10 years old watching wimbledon 2008 and hearing everybody say the same thing of this young explosive player who was so impressive but just wouldn't last the way Roger would becuase of how he played. With medical technology and sports science improving Alcaraz will likely last even longer than the big 3 did.

Mensik will soon make it a New Big Three Era. He has a BIG game, is just 19, and is already starting to make waves, having just taken out Rublev and Dimitrov in Shanghai. It will be interesting to see how he does against Djokovic in the quarterfinals.

He's been a lot better in recent months. I'm hopeful he'll move into 2025 as a stronger player. It's all mental with him but I sense he is trying to moderate his rushed tennis that causes him to lose too often relative to the way he is capable of playing at his best

Sinner has a higher floor than alcaraz that's why he can win more matches When Both are not at Thier best but Carlos Alcaraz has a Higher Ceiling Meaning when Both are at their best Alcaraz is better…

Until someone else steps up then yes. Djokovic is old not sure if he can hang on much longer. Alcaraz is better than Sinner but less consistent. Alcaraz has more variety than Sinner. Sinner is robotic. I think some other young player will step up and challenge them.

IMO - Carlos and Jannik are great young players.
but a big 2 requires more than just two dominant players. what made Federer Nadal so compelling was the clash of styles as well. and then when Novak came in, he had his own style of play that was also incredibly unique compared to the other two.
IMO Carlos and Jannik's matches, while incredibly hyped up, have not really reached the levels that those other rivalries would. and it might get there? but its also just the entertainment level, which I argue is lower

Meddy, Zverev, Kyrgios, Stef, Monfils, Tsonga, Sock, Isner, Kokk, Grigor, plus of course...Rafa, Roger, Nole, Murray, Thiem, Stan, - great matches every day. Now they've got - two players????

Really sad to be doing this to tennis again. For us general tennis fans It's seriously dreary to have just two players in every draw. There's no point watching any of the early rounds because you only have two players in the final. So why bother having early rounds at all? See what I mean. think I'll transfer my sporting interest to cycling. So overhyped. And hopefully Sinner does get a suspension so that equality prevails. Alcaraz is at least human.

That's a strange take. The sport is in transition, and with so many other players with huge potential still so young and rising, I don't think a Big2 era is going to sustain for more than 3/4 seasons.
And if it does, well, watching these guys compete against one another is absolutely thrilling to me and many other fans of this beautiful sport.
