Thank you for the video! I want to learn chemistry in order to make plastics, paints, and other things. What is the best way other than reading books and practicing chemistry using safety equipment?
There are some great general chemistry courses around these parts. Having the foundation (dimensional analysis, molecular naming conventions, stoichiometry, writing equations, etc) is key to the rest of it. I try to present these videos at an undergraduate level, so if you're understanding the majority of what I say, you're essentially a sophomore or junior level chemistry major!
@PhD at Living Hello PhD at Living do you know the main solute of E6000? I know the main solvent is tetrachloroethylene/Perchloroethylene, but i just cant figure out what the main solute. Also the ingredients that google lists are not the real ingredients. They are the list of solvents that do not work on E6000. please get back to me when you can.
I found your Channel like a week ago how are you not NileRed big
I'm unreasonably happy to have learned why silicones smell like vinegar. Thank you!
Great channel! Found you because I was curious about what makes tree resins so sticky. Found glue instead, not disappointed.
I like to think this was Walter White before he became interested in narcotics.
Could you make a video on the chemistry of colors? (Natural and synthetic dyes?)
thanks you for the video :) what about ionomers glue?
Interestingly enough, it looks pretty similar to actual cement. Check out this article (and my concrete video!): www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK582145/
