Also, for the PSU's, can you get the highest wattage Iceriver PSU and it should work on all the Iceriver models? The other Iceriver models should be lower wattage, so it ends up being a universal replacement for all the Iceriver's?
Every time I think I'm not gonna get any more Kaspa miners I end up with more Kaspa miners lol. Here's the thing, the KS1 and KS2 power supplies are only like $100 a piece, so you might be better off getting the PSU sepcifically meant for your machine. Probably would save a bunch of money that way. I have a feeling the PSU fans failing are causing most of the overall failures on these. I will be testing out replacing the fans on my dead PSU ASAP to get the info out to the community
@@GreaterGoodMining I just didn't want to have different spares for each model. I was hoping you could use the largest wattage PSU as a "spare" for all of them. Then, if a failure occurred, you use use that temporarily to keep mining while waiting for the correct replacement.

Great video, but you forgot to fill in the Dayly Hashratre Increase in the breake even calculator, it should be over 1000Th/s a day. It makes a massive difference.
It's baked in at a certain increase per day bit you can adjust that parameter based on what you think it will be. The batches and hashrate come in waves. Some days it could be a lot more , some less

@riksstad9326 that could be true. But I think that a lot of people aren't considering that these ASIC companies might be starting to shift focus soon. Radiant, Alephium etc. The R&D money is going to start flowing into those because it's the next newest shiny thing to chase

I love kas but now isn't the time to get Asics for it. Even with the higher hash rate machines the network hash will increase to the point where the ROI will get pushed out beyond the bull run. If you're not mining it already it'd be better to buy half the value in coins and put the other half on BTC then buy the new new generation of Asics with the profit from the sale of the coins post bull run in the bear market that will be 2026.
I see what you're saying but I think a lot of people might not consider how much Kaspa ASIC's, even older used models, might be sold for if/when the bull run starts really taking off. I dont know what will happen obviously, its just somethingto consider. Right now theres still a chance to get a machine at a reasonable price, mine some coin.. then sell the machine and coin in the bull run etc.
Good point, they might be able to get you on import duties if it's over $800 I believe. I've heard it's hit or miss for people when it comes to ordering more than one at a time

Been buying kas since well under 1c. I did cash in $400 to order an Ultra. Sounds fun. Plus, there will be more kheavy forks to mine and play.
That is true, I probably should have brought that up in the video. Hashrate will move off Kaspa to the forks that are profitable etc

Not worth buying more than one KSO Ultra with the import fee of $275. if you buy 2 or more.

Resellers prices are pretty high though. Especially for the small miners you are better off buying directly from Iceriver
