Western powers, particularly the U.S., have traditionally viewed India as a key player in counterbalancing China's growing influence. A peace agreement between China and India could weaken the effectiveness of alliances like the Quad (U.S., India, Japan, Australia) if India's motivations to confront China diminish. Economic Rivalry: Both China and India are significant global economies. A closer relationship between them could create economic synergies that benefit their interests at the expense of Western economies. Additionally, it could lessen India's economic dependency on Western markets and influence, thereby reducing Western leverage over Indian policy. Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Concerns: The West has been critical of China's Belt and Road Initiative, which seeks to expand Chinese economic influence through infrastructure projects across Asia and beyond. If India, traditionally skeptical of the BRI, becomes more open to cooperating with China economically, this could further enhance China's global influence at the West's expense. Strategic Autonomy for India: The West, particularly the U.S., has invested heavily in deepening ties with India, both in terms of defense cooperation and economic engagement. A rapprochement with China could lead India to adopt a more independent foreign policy, reducing its alignment with Western interests. In short, a peace deal between China and India could disrupt the strategic plans of the West in Asia, making it more difficult to contain China's influence while also complicating India's role as a counterbalance."

So much better than Tesla’s FSD.
Depends on how you define better?
@@daydreamer8373 I have test driven FSD and although it is very good in many ways it still requires supervision and intervention at critical points. It will require quite a bit more development before it is ready for autonomous driving. I believe that autonomous vehicles will need LiDAR and radar - more than only-camera sensors that FSD uses.

If someone is hit and k*lled by an autonomous vehicle who would be responsible and what would be the repercussions of it would anyone go to jail? How would that family see justice done?
in Europe - mercedez has level 3 autonomy on vehicles. it takes full responsibility if vehicle crashes when the autopilot is engaged.
in the US, tesla only has a level 2 autonomy, and it takes no responsibility if their FSD is engaged.
If a human driver crashes into autonomous vehicle, who should be responsible!?
@@randomguy7175Whoever is at fault for the accident.
L3 and beyond should be the responsibility of the manufacture. Mercedes is the only one I know doing this, but Volvo was the original to make such a statement a decade ago (not sure if they’re still abiding by that once the EX90 launches)
They would get paid.
1.6B$ propaganda money isn't still working 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not A word about Tesla??
Half-hearted? Self-driving is already commercialised in China. Technology is not a question.
It is tearing if the US supposedly 5G network can adequately and safely support commercial self-driving. sadly the answer is no, for now.
I used to work at AutoX. The food delivery service ended in 2020; as a result of the pandemic, the company let go of all the operations team members.
Wow I didn't know US is THAT scared of China 😂
What took US to identify this as national security? Whoever approved the testing must be scrutinized and investigated?!
Tesla need competitor in USA. Not ford, not GM. Not Toyota.
Hey Winnie the Pooh is in this.
Why would anyone at the California DMV 3:53 think it’s a good idea to let our competition test their product on our roads. Seems very weird.
feels like everything in the US is a national security risk, yet they got corporations which would do the same thing and it's allowed, like corps dont do sketchy things with them, like sell that data around, possibly to china too...
and anyway, all the iphones made in china do all the spying for them.
Everything is national security risk, except selling all kind of firearms like hot pancakes.

China is the one of largest buyers for Tesla cars. Should China ban Tesla with all those cameras according to national security and privacy? This is nonsense.
Is the US sure it wants a chinese company taking videos from anything it drives by and then have some AI use that to determine god knows what?
Lol, why do Western countries try to tarnish the Chinese image? I have been to China and know what they are capable of doing, and Western media cannot confuse me any longer, and i hope they don't confuse you 😂lol.

Autonomous car is an amazing tech….it is the FUTURE of auto-mobility…it is far safer than human behind the wheel.
The Road conditions in China is 10X more complex than in the U.S. If a car company can do autonomous driving in China they can do it in U.S. That is probably why China dont need to test extensively in the U.S. Also its BS that China need U.S Engineers to help them, China have the best Engineers in the world, thats why Tesla was saved by its Shanghai Factory.

In the US, all image sensing, recognition and response processing takes place on board, while in Chinese cities the CCTV systems ID and track all vehicles, providing all the spatial data the system requires. Thus, US testing takes place owing to the US being the target market, the disparate systems limiting autonomous exports. Plus of course, cars find english a whole lot easier to read.

By this logic, Tesla itself should have one of the best reads into a Chinese economic recovery if one exists, so could tell itself whether its Chinese sales will improve next year.

It's time for the US and like-minded countries to go its separate way from China, Russia, ect our worldview in compatible and we will never find a common ground

There is no common ground becasue the West tant to take all. West concern China might do something because that is exactly what they have done or doing. China bought a 767 from Boeing in the 90s as executive transporter. When they recieved the plane, they found the plan is full of bugs. One source said there are over 200 microphones fitted to the plane that should not need there and clearly, not documented in the version of file that comes with the plane. Sorry, that is a false argument anywhere in the world where you connected to any communication infrustructure. Not in the West, not in the east. Due with it.
The solution proposed by Toyota is to have three types of streets, for dedicated to automated driving, for pedestrians, and for personal mobility vehicles, along with an underground road for goods transportation. No rocket sciences, just a dull reality, however Toyota has proven to be the winner in the races in the past.
