Seb, I made well over ROI with an SC Box ii thanks to your Siacoin recommendation from a Video you made last year. Thank you so much ! Many people like to say "too late, not profitable" without considering the yield and future price of the coin. With that in mind I recently picked up a few KS0 pros, Glad to see you did too.
I think the KSO's are perfect for your goals: long term coin stacking with inexpensive to buy and run hardware. My red flag goes up for people who want to get rich mining Kaspa and don't realize what happens. They end up disillusioned, angry and a lot less rich! I share your long term look. It's the best way to be a home hobby miner.
@@nitroskating1267 When the price of Kaspa surges, new Kaspa miners rush in and buy new hardware. The result is that the hashrate blows up. When the KS0 came out in June, it was making 1100 coins per day. Today, it makes 7. People bought it thinking it was going to make them $55 per day (kaspa was at .05) and they'd ROI on it weeks. But today, it makes .73 per day. That's what happens. If you don't know that's what happens, you lose. Seb knows that, and has factored that in to his calculations.
@@SebsFinTechChannel its worth it since you can get upto 70% extra hashrate if your ks0 pro can hit 340ghs, might as well overclock it and yield more kas before the bullrun.
@GeneralXxX9XxX good thing you can get 320ghs and only pull around 140w then isnt it! Also why would manufacturers sell 200w+ laptop psu if the barrell connectors cant handle more than 160w?
If you’re on desktop it’s on the right during checkout. If you’re on mobile there is a button at the top during checkout that says “show order summary”. Hope this helps!
I read their online manual and they want air flow going over and around the unit. Basically blowing the heat off the fins and away from the unit. So I'd but a small fan behind it and blowing the heat away from it.
Any idea what the difference is between "batches"? On the affiliate links, there is about a $100 difference between the "Rest of the World Batch" and the "United Kingdom Batch". This seems to be the case on a number of difference sites. Any ideas?
Rest of world vs united kingdom batch, the difference is if you live in the UK delivery will be faster and easier if you get the UK batch. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your videos and spreadsheets Seb! The KS0 Pro would be the only miner I would ever be able to afford but I haven't pulled the trigger because I don't understand... How fast could the network hashrate change the daily rewards? It earns so little per day as it is. If it mines say 15 KAS per day, how quickly could that go to say 5 KAS? or 1 KAS?
That will happen eventually no one knows how fast , the profit for this machine will be when kaspa price rises .for example if today you are mining 15 kas per day at .15 cents you are only making $2.25 , but let’s say if rewards go down to 5 kas per day but price rises to .50 cents you would make $2.50
Kaspa wont be able to mine alot longer if im not mistaken,, maybe it will come other coins to mine with ks asics? I own a ks0 that i overclocked. If oc just remove the side plates and it will run cool
The one thing I like about the KSO's is that anyone can run one at home. They're cheap. Sure you'd likely do better buying the coin right now, but at $600 that's less than a 4070 after tax. It's not an expensive decision, where a KS3 is an expensive one. The KSO oc at 160 makes almost 12 cons a day still. That surprises me. But the hashrate has stabilized for now. But a sustained trip into new ATH's would cause another asic buying spree.
Dun fall for it guys Kaspa mining is basically dead with current hashrate...KS0 pro only made ar 14 coins per day...n its falling steadily n sometimes rapidly as some ppl with money n free energy buying bigger machines like KS3...I think ks0 pro will probably make ab 2 to 3 coins per day in a very few months that is being optimistic... these youtubers r just promoting for resellers to clear all the leftovers machines which will be useless in very near future.
@@OGCrypto913 Currently im getting ab 9 coins per day with kS0 OC 150 Gh/s.Do u think thats alot? I got ab 1600 coins per day when i bought it back in Aug. do u think hashrate is falling? Do the math.
I don't know. I have recently reviewed all my electricity payments. Despite hashrate.no tell me I am profitable. If I had used all that money to buy btc I would be in a better position rather than a bag of shitcoins.
9:25 Great idea, pulling cool air through the ks0 and pushing the warm air up and away will help prevent mixing. Thanks for sharing
Love the optimism and spreadsheets thanks man keep em coming
Got my KS0 Pro a few months ago for the same reasons. Diversification of my mining efforts and because this whole thing is just plain fun to do!
Love the way that you explain your reasoning & motives. And as usual the enthusiasm! Keep it up Seb!
Hi Seb
Great videos keep them coming you have a great long term view and I love that Have a great day and thanks for all the hard work
I just picked up my packages for two of these yesterday (but haven’t been able to unpack them yet) 😊

Sorry to ask but im verry new to kaspa can you maybe explain "what happens". ^^

HA, I like the optimism.
😀
Just got another too ;)
Did you see the knife I used for the unboxing? 😀
just ordered another KS0 PRO lol
have you put the overclocked firmware on yet its 300gh if you do.
Not yet, I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to overclock it or not

Them 5.5mm connectors are not designed to withstand over 160w @@slimeypeep
Even properly cooled, I wonder about longevity. Not worth it if the machine stops working too soon.

What size screws are needed to mount a 120mm fan on the KS0 Pro? Bought screws that work for a KS0 but not the KS0 Pro.
I cover that in this video, look at the text titles during the unboxing 👍

Haters gonna hates man. Stay enthusiastic ✌🏻
Use it to stack alt coins - it's literally doing the work of 10-20 gpus for 100 watts. Also heats your room slightly. Win win.
Great video be you, everyone else is already taken 😊
I bought 6 of these KS0 pros. The worst thing about them is pulling it out of the styrofoam packaging.... bent a nail back 🥺
Ouch!! 😬
Check out the video I did where I mounted some ASICs to a wall. You don't need as much space as you may think you need. 👊
Seb, didn't you get rid of all your gpu's?
No what makes you say that?
Awesome!

Kaspa will always be mineable, as there are no plans on moving away from Proof of Work (at least to my knowledge).
Seb have you seen the MXC IoT network token
I have GPUs a few Jasminer's and KS0's
I appreciate diversification.
Thanks for the video
Gooddhell are bringing out a home miner
Im doing something like 1.60 usd per day with this kso pro.
I don't this is a good time to buy more kso but well nobody knows...

Awesome! Thanks for being early to the video 🏆
No disrespect bro , but you should join gym : ) .
bro please be brief remember the subjects that you're going to talk about you talk too much on a lot of subject im confused
Its going to take you years to break even at the current rewards for that miner. Its about $1.20-$1.60 a day depending on the price
Or he could ROI in less than a year, or 10x in 2, "Depending on the price"
