Smaller nozzle diameters have a more focused plasma beam which allows you to run less amperage and have a smaller kerf. This is helpful for thinner sheet metal to reduce warp and give better quality to smaller features common in metal art, for example. The larger nozzle diameters will be more durable and capable of more amperage for cutting thick plate all day where super fine details aren't as important. Be careful smaller diameter nozzles might have an amperage limit, typically stated on the packaging or product details. If you exceed that you'll smoke the nozzle quick.
As we don't make it we're not positive what kind of consumables it uses. I've got an everlast plasma cutter and it cuts pretty good but everyone is saying that putting in an air dryer will help increase the life of the consumables. What kind of air dryer should I be looking at?
