I close my eyes and hear Ozzy Osbourne talking about Reaper. 😂 Thanks for the wonderful review! ✌🏻

After +20 years of using PT I finally got totally fed up with Avid's "Gibson-like" monopoly arrogance and mismanagement of a once leading platform. Discovering WinAmp creator Justin Frankel's DAW (REAPER) and especially Kenny Gioia's instructional videos on REAPER in 2019 (which were an essential help in managing the learning curve) was an absolute revelation to me, and I've been happily using REAPER on my last 4 albums as my workflow sped up nominally 2x from the days of PT. Sorry, but in my life, unless I need to do the occasional file conversions - Pro Tools is history to me.

Thank you for your contribution! I have never used Pro tools but have heard about what you say in your comments. Justin Frankel gave us something truly unique and inspirational with Reaper. Yes there is a learning curve but with the great tuitional talents of Kenny Gioia and others we have an endless world of possibilities at our feet. Today we live in the greatest time there has been to be involved in Music whether that be as a player, producer or engineer. For most of us that's all three! I'm so glad you love Reaper and I wish you all the best in your musical journey!😉

Thanks for the question mate! I am aiming to go through slowly over time and cover aspects of Reaper that I tend to use. Hopefully others will find it useful and of help.😉

I still havent see how reaper shows the Plugin UI, I saw a video on their website where this man added a vst3 plugin but the UI was in another window making it rather too big to see what is happening in the track view.....I'm coming from Sonar so these are things I am used to, to see only the Plugin UI as big as the vendor has made it.
