Interesting thing to note: This is the only cutscene where Niko actually orders alcohol. He previously orders water, turns down drugs, and even when Gerry gives him a glass of whiskey he doesn't ever actually take a drink. Just a real subtle way of showing that at this point, Niko is fed up.
By Far the hardest mission in the game!
Finally, someone who actually understood the real role of Kate in this story.

Revenge is the best choice (save Roman).
I love how Pegorino tries to persuade Niko to do the deal through intimidation, but Straight up softens up as soon as Niko gives him the death stare
I choose Revenge because it saved roman life's!
I let Kate die because, for me, it is normal to lose a girlfriend. I mean, I lost Michelle as a girlfriend. Roman is too important to die.
I will go with revenge, Roman will survive, but Niko's girlfriend, Kate will die.
There's something funny about those calls.

An interesting thing to observe: Niko is very reluctant on helping Pegorino out this time. Why? He already got what he wanted: Darko Brevic. The only reason he kept on committing crimes and going deep into the underworld is for him to solve the mystery of the past (he keeps on asking many characters throughout the game on helping him find Darko). Once he got his answer, he is not about that life anymore. The only thing that pulled Niko back in again is the threat that Pegorino made to him in this cutscene (which forces him to do deal mission) and the whereabouts of Dimitri that Niko finds out from Roman (makes him take the revenge mission). Niko is one of the most tragic character. He just found out that vengeance does not make you feel any different. Niko still felt "empty" after killing/making Darko suffer by letting him live. So at this point in the game, he was already dead (on the inside).

Revenge is obviously better gameplay wise, but Deal and the aftermath is better story/emotional wise, I did Revenge and glad I killed Dimitri, but the last mission I was like "Oh that's cool" but with Deal, Romans death and the last mission, I was like "Holy shit...". Not everything can be a happy ending.

When i first played GTA 4 i chosed " deal" then Roman Died...
Reasons to choose revenge
niko is a smart guy, he knows dimitri will never change. also there are previous missions where he states he'll never work with him again. so i guess choosing the deal ending is out of character. and for that, revenge it is. ALWAYS revenge.
