Heavy especulation: I think the kids come from a planet in the unknown regions, ruled by... the imperial remanent.Very safe and secured, noone knows about It, It has ships from way back the OR... I want to believe that will be the great twist.
The creators of the show mentioned the planet the kids come from is called Attin, and was once the crown jewel of the old republic, but that’s all that’s really known about it right now. There’s definitely more to it than were being let on but it’s a surprise we’re gonna have to find out
While I’ve grown tired of Star Wars recent over reliance on cameos, this show is the perfect opportunity for Hondo Ohnaka to make his Live Action debut!!!
I think it's a mistake that they didn't put it out this week instead of next. You could have had families watching it over the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, getting them hooked on the show.
I would bet anything that decisions like that are deliberately made by Disney higher ups - they would rather have families going out to see Moana 2 than staying in to watch Disney+.
This is my most hyped show out of all the announced shows. If I may my throw my ring into the hat My idea is that their world was Central to the original Jedi versus sith conflict in the old Republic and that someone back then did not want in any peace of the war so they isolated their planet. Maybe even the biggest twist might be that a actual sith did this that he was so attached to and cared about his planet. So much that when he saw his fellow sith not simply get revenge but wanted conquest and seeing the Jedi horrifically retaliated decided to nope out of both groups.
I'm so excited for this, and excited that a new crop of younglings will get to dip their feet into the Star Wars Universe with this. On the other hand...I'm already over the adult "fans" that are hating on the show before it's even come out.
I bet the nam Jod Na Nawood is gonna be that trope where a character begins to give their real name, then realizes they shouldn't, and quickly makes something up on the spot. "my name's Jod Na-- erm, na... wood! Jod Na Nawood. Yep, that's it." I bet he even spots a piece of wood before coming up with the last bit.
Like every new Star Wars I’m excited and have an open mind, will judge it after I watch it. There’s almost a whole new genre on TH-cam called Star Wars post Disney Hate Peddling. Screw that. Thanks guys for your positivity - we need it!!
Given the range of species seen on the kids home planet, I imagine it is in the known galaxy (if just an unknown world within). As far as the ship goes, i can't place it exactly but I feel like we've seen one similar to it in the Clone Wars animated series.
I'm really looking forward to Skeleton Crew. It seems like this homeworld is sus somehow, but it's still nice to see something other than extreme opulence or extreme poverty (or hints of the asceticism of the Jedi). The closest we've seen before this (I haven't seen all of The Mandalorian or any of BOBF), I think, is the Naberrie household in Episode II, and even that was the home of a pretty well-off family.
only a week togo i am looking forword to see it i hope the show is set after thrawn returned becouse i love to see ezra show up he would be perfect for the show
yeah excited for Post-show streams again yeah 7 weeks of pure fun hopefully Yeah Jod is probably gonna be like an Inversion of Sabine A Force users who abandoned his ideals and just wants to be scoundrel.
maybe max rebo just lost his arms in a music related accident? or perhaps he lost them in the clone wars. strange their is not more mamed aliens just after a galaxy spanning war
Thankyou both, I look forward to watching the series with my 8 year old son. I find your content is great informative and child friendly too. 😊 Keep up the good work, love the festive tree !
I think the fact that Wim knows about the Jedi and the Proctor's Office sign being written in Aurebesh means that the kids' home planet is within the main galaxy. It just doesn't make much sense to me for either of those to be true if they live in a different galaxy altogether.
Wish I didn’t watch this. Seemed like an hour long advertisement for the show and nothing objective at all. This guy is literally reading from a script. “ the series creators have described him as full of wide eyed wonder” and “ I look forward to getting to know her better” Yuck. Unfortunately I think you have told me all I need to know about the show without actually telling me anything.
ok, well, i guess he's going to do it so i'll cover the irresponsible speculation. we'll probably see luke, ahsoka, vader, thrawn, ezra, rey, the anzellans, the entire rebel alliance, jar jar & the sith eternal
Tldw it’s absolutely a children’s show so unless you have young children just save the time. Terrible acting I turned it off after 15 minutes of kids yapping about a speeder bike race.
Pretty sure you're joking, but nope, yup. Creators specifically said it was written to be enjoyable by both those who know nothing and hose who know everything about SW or anyone in between. Which I personally think is true for everything. To be fair to Alex, "Some FACTS I personally find to be WORTH sharing leading up to the release of SKELETON CREW!" is a dumber title
Based on the trailer I feel this show will be on exact par with what is coming recently from the SW universe which is the highest at a mediocre level. This series has big shoes to fill to become popular, and at this point, I doubt that KK has a desire to change the direction of where the SW Universe is going, so it seems that the target audience for most SW releases is 3-10 y.o children, which is lower than one of Sponge Bob.
This show is going to surprise a lot of people
I’ll be one of them! 😃👋🏻
I think even some of those who haven't enjoyed the Disney era Star Wars will like this 😊
From what I'm seeing and hearing, it sounds fantastic, and it already looks quite interesting. We'll see what happens!
I think even if it does those goons will never admit it.
This show is going to fail worldwide.
Wenn's dad is named Wendel and Fern's mom is named Ferrah? Yeah... these are clones. Maybe a lost (or hidden) Imperial cloning facility?
i mean, it could just be an interesting naming tradition from their planet, but i like where your head is at.
Joruus C'baoth flashbacks

HONDO PLEASE
While I’ve grown tired of Star Wars recent over reliance on cameos, this show is the perfect opportunity for Hondo Ohnaka to make his Live Action debut!!!
Wouldn't the Millennium Falcon ride count as his live action debut?
I was traumatized as a kid by ET…
Hyped because of Jude and the fact that I grew up on Amblin style ( Goonies, E.T. , Gremlins , Stand by Me )
Me too!
Yes, agreed!
I think it's a mistake that they didn't put it out this week instead of next. You could have had families watching it over the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, getting them hooked on the show.
Well we can all watch it throughout the x-mas holiday season so that's nice 😁
I would bet anything that decisions like that are deliberately made by Disney higher ups - they would rather have families going out to see Moana 2 than staying in to watch Disney+.
We'd be battling our families for the TV. My relatives are all massive football fans.
There’s bound to be some secrets here
I’m very interested in the mystery surrounding their home planet, and its connection to the Old Republic

Love this channel’s thumbnails and in-video graphics transitions and fonts
I would totally watch a Christmas concert featuring Sy Snootles and the Max Rebo band, along with Firgin D’an and the Modal Nodes
Siiiiiilent Niiiiiight.... 😂
It comes out Monday December 2nd now! 6pm PT
Goonies in space with perhaps a sprinkle of Explorers? Color me intrigued.
Super excited for this show!! 😃🙌🏻
You guys rule. Thank you both for the years of hard work, and for infusing your content with love and positivity.
The town reminds me of that place in the “a wrinkle in time” book
My guess is that he was a Jedi but after Order 66 he left it all behind and started a new life.
Great video!

This is the way
Thanks for this video Alex! I’m so ready for Skeleton Crew!
Cool, thank you for the facts!

I got a good giggle out of this one, “which I am going to talk about shortly.”

This show looks like it will be a lot of fun.
My most anticipated Star Wars media (I know Andor is in good hands.)
Thanks for the info! So excited for this one! E.T. was one of my fav films growing up, so any similar vibes will make me happy. Cheers! 🫡
Id say it was a first order planet if it was not for Neil. Wild guess that the Droid is really the Captain.
"Non Star Wars properties like Captain EO"
I've always thought of Captain EO as being a Star Wars movie.
Let's wait til Kennedy is out the door.

5:54 That kinda sounds like Ezra if he had joined Hondo's crew.
What if they find a fleet of dreadnaughts that captures Thrawn's attention?
Welcome back Katana Fleet

Who thinks Neel is the same species as Hooter from Captain Neo?
The power of one, the power of two, the power of Skeleton Crew.
(If they sing that, I’m out). Mildly excited about this but ya never know with Disney.
are these sort of like the teenagers from lukas' treatment for a sequal trilogy?
September 2nd now
But max rebo has arms and hands, how is Neil a different species?
And of course Disney moves the start date to December 2nd
Its Space Cases
For me it Sounds Like Goonies meet trueman Show
"Responsible speculation" Now that's the way to go :)
Edited. I dunno why I heard scepticism XD
Responsible *speculation
@@BobbyM817 thanks :)
Why is Jod Na Nawood always said to be a weird name? It’s nowhere near the strangest character name in Star Wars
Great video! Thanks
Respeculation?
Thank you for this video.
👍
Thank you, Alex! ✨💀✨

Kids? BS
We need to know that... The amount of american BS is just staggering... So much ¢rap... it's too much, it's unbearable. Heaven, help us.
Suburbs in Star Wars looks stupid.
I'm just saying that the droids look like the skibidi robots, without suits on.
Tldw it’s absolutely a children’s show so unless you have young children just save the time. Terrible acting I turned it off after 15 minutes of kids yapping about a speeder bike race.
Questioning if I NEED to know this info... Can't I just watch the show?

Which I personally think is true for everything. To be fair to Alex, "Some FACTS I personally find to be WORTH sharing leading up to the release of SKELETON CREW!" is a dumber title
If you’re watching it on TH-cam as an adult then you didn’t NEED to know it.
just came to remind you that you sold your soul
this is the first live action star wars project ive ever had zero interest in, which is a huge bummer

Errr…. what?
