Take your airfried potatoes to the next level by precooking in the microwave, cool on counter then refrigerate overnight. Then cut and shake in a bowl with seasonings. This roughs up the surface. They will be super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good!
We stayed at that brewery a couple of years ago - had a great time! Oh man, the smoke… I don’t miss that. Ah ha ha - the “questions you frequently ask yourself” - so, so true! We’ve passed so many Sno-Parks in Oregon, but they just didn’t look inviting. This one looks great!

love the two Basenji's!!! My mom raised and showed Basenjis for at least 30 to 40 years. They are a very unique dogs. Every Christmas brought us a new litter or two of puppies.
A personal avalanche beacon is a safety device you carry on you in case you're buried by an avalanche. (To help locate you. ) The sign was to test if it's working. Inside the building is the trail grooming equipment for the snow park. We have hundreds of miles of snow trails for winter recreation here for snowmobiles and cross country skiing, snowshoeing etc.. cheers!
When you are skiing, you have it on transmit (sending). If you get caught in an avalanche, your ski partner or group all switch theirs to receive to pick up your signal.
We were there back in mid July and stayed at the Broken Arrow CG and with NPS pass, it was only about $15/night and very quiet (just a lot of mosquitos). Dry camping with access to water. Sites should be long enough for your set up depending on which loop you selected. That said, free is better.
you can't film in a national park? That's news to me.. REBEL I am I guess..... I guess another way for revenue for our crooked politicians.. Native Oregonian :)
Hey guys. Great meeting you at the pool today! Just watched this video and realized we boondocked in the exact location you all did when we hit up Crater Lake. Let me know if you all want to meet up before you leave. Happy to smoke something (meat, fish, veggies, etc) if you all are interested?
Hi, fellow campers... one question, why don't you leave the truck connected while you engage the slides?? ours won't let us do otherwise... then your batterys won't lose an amp.. then disconnect ..
Thank you for the beautiful view of Crater Lake Aaron and Chris! 🤩 I'm adding that place to my bucket list! Definitely packing a lunch to sit there awhile to soak it all in!! I LOVE IT!!!!😄
ZIve never seen a youtuber ever need permits for filming in a national park. They ALL DO IT AND AIR IT. I'm sure the permit process is for the actual production companies who need crowd control , access to sensitive locations. Not just a couple with a 45 mil or action cam. EVERY TOURIST HAS AND FILMS WITH the same equipment and Do Not need a permit to film. CHEERS AND safe travels Steve h.
Hello! Sorry to disagree, but this is the current Federal law. I can't comment on ALL the others you are referring to, but here is part of the rules. You can read more on NPS.GOV if you like. 😊 Thanks for watching and safe travels as well 👍 "Federal law requires a permit for all commercial filming, no matter the size of the crew or the type of equipment. This includes individuals or small groups that don’t use much equipment, but generate revenue by posting footage on websites, such as TH-cam and TikTok. The primary focus of the NPS, however, is on commercial filming that has the potential to impact park resources and visitors beyond what occurs from normal visitor use of park areas. Examples of this type of filming are productions that use substantial equipment such as sets and lighting, productions with crews that exceed 5 people, and filming in closed areas, wilderness areas, or in locations that would create conflicts with other visitors or harm sensitive resources. All filmers, no matter the size, must comply with all rules that apply in park areas, just like other visitors. "
The Blink does not need 110 to run, you can wire a 12V USB plug receptacle if you don't already have one and just plug the hub into that. My Valor has 12V USB on both sides of the bed and I plug my Blink hub right into that so I don't have to run my inverter to keep the cameras running continuously.
Oh nice! Duh..🤣 I never even thought to plug it directly into the 12v. Ive just always had it plugged into the 110 with the holder. Thanks appreciate that! 😊
Do you think the ORV 5th wheel would be built tougher than the Paradigm for off road boondocking? I’m trying to decide. You’ve had both brands. Thank you. 👍👍👍
I think construction wise they are pretty similar and also pretty similar in the insulation department. But, the Alliance typically has bigger and more windows (which we like for view) but can be worse for insulation in extreme temps. Alliance has little bit bigger tanks. Alliance also has options for independent suspension. The ORV though probably gets the nod to the better boondocker, because of the shorter height and narrower width (I think). Also has better ground clearance. We have the shortest Paradigm and it's still really big out here in the woods! I just saw ORV is lightening up their wall paper too which should brighten up there interiors ! 👍 It is a tough choice!
