- Well, I finally upgraded my stock 2wd brushed Traxxas Slash. I decided to do with the bigger 2.8 Proline Trencher tires and I wanted to go with a Castle Creations SCT brushless system. I also picked up the Proline body mounts for this upgrade. Check out this upgrade video to see how it turned out.

My comment section is finally back! Over 2 years ago TH-cam deleted and disabled all my comments for having my daughters in my videos
Hi!
Looks sweet bruh
They discontinued those proline tires
@@rojacob9532 They still sell them. They come with all the different offset mounts now so it makes it easier
Really?? Wow that's just wacked
Thanks for the lessons. I’m new to rc, I’m starting a club for the youth in my community and your videos are very helpful.❤
That looks amazing. Big upgrade.
This looks so sick, nice work!
I’ve monsterified my slash, made it 3s and love it!
Nice buddy!
mines 6s
What 3s did you use?
Your rear tire goes in the front that's why it has the deeper Center that way your tires are even when they're on the truck
Yeah, I should have used different offsets. Watch Amains video. They figured out the correct offset
Wow Amazing looking really good 😊
Thanks a lot buddy
Ordering everything TODAY! 😂
Another slash 4x4 monster upgrade 4s cheers mate 👍✌✨👏
It’s 2wd
@@Strikerdsubmarine worked on 4x4 well no dramas 👍✌👍
@@jasonwetere5631 yeah but that one is a 2wd
Clean look
Looks great, but why would you build one of these out of a 2wd?
Kind of an old video, but has anyone given this a shot while using the LCG chassis? Would love the look of the larger tires and the LCG handling at the same time.
Just did today just meet slight trimming on rear wheel wells and coil over style shocks to adjust stiffness and push A arms down
Wonder if you can help. I did the same conversion but used a traxxas Vxl motor. I have gone thru 2 tranny housings and 4 sets of clutches. I can not keep the clutch temps down from burning the clutch and the tranny housing. I set slipper clutch ti 1/4 to 1/8 turn from tight and within 2 minutes the clutch is HOT to melt the tranny housing. What am I doing wrong . Even changed the gearing still the same
After ❤
Instead of bending it back, what about using a regular Allen key?
That works, but takes way too long lol. Guess i’m just impatient
🔥
Looks better with da bigger tires
awesome
U need new shocks
But looks good
Both, getting another one and doing this, New Subscriber here, What do I win,? 🤔😁💪
What if i have a 4 wheel drive ?
is this 2wd or 4x4
What was the parts number to those wheels and tires and what were they called
Could this but done with 1/16 slash
Will the wheels fit the Slash 4x4 Ultimate too?
Yes
Did you burn up the egine
Nope
What gears do you run on it?
😎👍
Will this work on the Nitro Slash?
Red wheel nuts would be nice.
Good call🤙
That sidewinder kit wont hold up long.
How would this setup perform on track?
Probably terrible lol. It’s too high and would keep rolling over on you
@@theRCelement ok thx 🙏
I did this and broke axles every 5 minutes😂
I’m still running the stock axles. I break one every now and then. But surprisingly them have been doing ok. Guess it depends on how hard you bash them
The reason you couldn't have comments is because you set the video as content "for children" when uploading. Im assuming anyways
