Interesting, thank you for this analysis. It’s possible to come up with different measures and compare. I don’t think these measures necessarily correspond to how judging will happen but there can be some correlation it will be interesting to see!
I have some similar some different predictions. However we current,y also had the Olympic team event. Wakaba and Kaori both did great. Kamila had a fall but still was ahead by a gap. I think this order likely wrong about Loena. Wakaba has gotten more consistent over the season, even as she has been underscored in PCS, and has arguably the best programs this season. Kamila gold. I expect Anna will be second unless she falls on both of her quads - assuming Sasha falls/error on two or more jumps, which is fairly likely. Sasha can go second or miss podium depending on how she jumps - totally depends on day. If wakaba lands triple axel(s) she can sneak into podium from Sasha or Anna, if they both falter. Kaori, I don’t expect podium unless both Anna and Sasha mess up and Wakaba fails her axels and pops jumps. Then can come some combination of the Koreans, Loena, Shizas, Mana Kawabe, the Americans, and maybe also Kurakova, Ryabova, Gubanova could be in some order some in the top 10 depending on who performs how on that day. But of course many surprises can happen!

Love the way you did this! I think about the consistency factor a lot too when predicting placements. 😆 srsly though this video has my wheels turning 👀 SO excited!

Thank you so much for commenting. Trust me I understand your excitement, only a few days to go!!! It's so tricky to predict, so much could happen but maybe the practices will give us more insight. I've done the free programme calcs so hopefully I can post it soon! Thanks again!

@@sayomsskiver thank YOU! Give yourself some credit :) this event was way more than I expected. It also feels very strange to give an opinion on Kamila because of the circumstances and we still also don’t know everything yet. I just hope Sasha lands the 5 quads. I know how much she wants it and it would be such a feat if she does so. For there to have never been a clean quad landed at the olympics by a female before this one to Sasha attempting 5 quads is mind blowing. I wish her the best. Thank you for your predictions!!!

I do not agree with your prediction. Because these three skaters are not opposed by really strong skaters, as it was at the Grand Prix and the Russian Championship. They will only compete with each other. Yes, and psychologically they will be much calmer. So I hope they don't make mistakes. Kaori at Hendrix's level. So even with falls, Russian skaters can win.

That's true. I think it's more likely to be Kamila (if she is allowed to competed), Anna and Kaori (if Trusova goes for the 3A and fails). But overall, I think it will be a Russian sweep.
