- Rener practiced swinging Razor Edge in last episode just to swing it at her father.
- The fact that Ainz himself participated in this act to fool Climb creates more pressure on Rener not to betray Nazarick.
- Rener's plan can achieve her goal without completely destroy the Kingdom but Philip F'd it all up.
- Ainz orders one of his Area Guardians (Guren) to stay in the capital to make it burns eternally as a symbol of the consequence of going against the Sorcerer Kingdom.
- Mare has been destroying town after town during this war to practice controlling his AoE skills.
I was like, "wait. Where is Guren?"
Man, I'm sooo mad the anime cut the part where Ainz commanded Guren to burn the rubble.
I have question, when Albedo said ' don't disappoint ainz' why did Rener Flinched?
I want to say, most of these are meaningless.😂

And "Don't disappoint" is a warning from Albedo saying,
"You better give your 100% or else you're Done". Just from this, Renna realized her place.
@@DragonLord1125 although Renner is Albedo's subordinate, in the long run Renner will probably surpass Albedo and Demiurge since she doesn't have the limitations of being an NPC. Also in the light novel, it is said that the only being ON PAR WITH RENNER is Demiurge and Albedo. If we go with how that sentence is made, then it seems that Renner is at the same level or maybe a little more intellectual than the two guardians. We also have to remember that 90% of the plan to conquer the Kingdom came from Renner, with Demiurge and Albedo just putting some small tweaks in the plan.
One small thing that was missed was that Renner PURPOSELY told Pestonya to heal Climb to the bare minimum. In on of the previous seasons, it is revealed that Renner sort of has a thing to keep Climb frail and weak so she can "nurse" him. I believe it was when she knew she can cast Lakyus' resurection magic in case Climb died, so that she can again nurse him when he is weak.
So yeah, she purposely did it again to ensure Climb never has the strength to leave her room. Basically her dog for eternity. That's messed up lol.
She said she wished to keep him chained up forever and she truly got her greatest desire. She doesn't even care about anything else. She's free from the pressures of a kingdom and now she has true freedom with her main

Not bad ending or happy ending. Only one was destined to win in the end. The glorious ending for Ainz Ooal Gown.
It was pleasure to watch this beautiful season.
I don't know it looked like a happy ending to me atleast for Renner she even got a musical number.
Now if only they had a character who could put up a fight against Ainz to make things interesting because massacring the kingdom was literally cakewalk for them

@@LordThunderVolt I finished it as well as the LN but I don’t remember that part. The way that I understand it, all previous players killed each other or got killed by PDL, leaving Ainz as the remaining player many years later. It’s safe to say he’s the most powerful being in the world

For those who are wondering about the Seed of the Fallen (blue box), understand this. Renner is lying when she says that Ainz turned her into a demon. The first box she was given at the beginning of the season by Albedo is how she turned herself from human to demon. However, before she could do so, she needs to perform certain acts that will allow her to use the box. Albedo asks her if she can open it and Renner responds that preparations are underway. Killing the orphanage children with poisoned food, providing the plan to sacrifice the Kingdom, and possibly the killing of her own father are part of the requirements. When Cocytus's minion refers to Climb as the last human of the palace, they are telling you that the first box has been used and Renner is already a demon. The second Seed of the Fallen is for Climb to change him from human to demon. Renner is a top tier Yandere.
The black box, Seed of the Fallen, is the item requirement to become a demon. Renner received hers from Ainz-sama and used the children from the orphanage as a sacrifice through food poisoning to use the item. Renner is now an imp race (lesser demon iirc). The second black box is for climb. Renner has long been an imp since the ball, the time when Albedo met Philip. The show has been showing signs that she already left humanity by her being able to use razor edge(Gazef's sword) on the previous episode and Climb being called the only human left in the kingdom's throne room this episode.
Slight correction: Renner only transformed into an Imp after poisoning the orphans, like two episodes back. She received the Seed of the Fallen on the day of the Phillip's Ball, but didn't unlock it's power and transform until the child sacrifice just before the attack on the Capital.
@@MiosPanties and another, killing the orphans wasn't a requirement of the seed to become a demon. She just needed to reduce her karma level to the level necessary where she could use the iten.
@@MiosPanties Actually, the deaths at the orphanage weren't enough to use the item. Using the Seeds of the Fallen requires at least -400 Karma, and the orphanage killings placed her at around -375 Karma. The event that gave her the required amount was the killing of her father.
Wow, the stark difference between Brain and Renner. Brain is not even a noble but stood his ground to the very end while Renner, being the princess, betray her country for the fulfillment of her desire. I must say that previous episode was incredibly moving while this one leaves me nothing but a bitter taste.

That was a nice way to end the season! Slightly disappointed that the season is already over though. They did a great job this episode, especially when Princess Renner started to dance. Normal animes exaggerate the moves and the singing ends up looking terrible. But the animators knew what to do, and gave us a great episode and a great season.
They still have the Movie for Holy Kingdom arc tho.

I love how all of these reactors start to get uncomfortable when Renner start singing.
Amazing!!! This is why I love this series, it’s completely different from other generic shows where “I’m the hero and I must do what’s right” When Ainz tell Climb that if this was a story then he would unleash some inner powers, but NO! Ainz destroyed Climb. I loved seeing villain destroying heroes. Wish there was more shows like this!

The season 5 is assured, but it will take some time.
Season 5 in terms of LN is still fresh out of the oven so gotta be a while until it's released, the movie should be dope AF and a spin off about the side story alternative version would be a great way to quench the fans thirst until actual season 5 gets out.
I'm all in for the side story to get animated as we could finally get what is arguably the best fight in Overlord verse till this day, well no, the best fight as it's with the most powerful being in the new world, the ECDL Cure Elim Los Malvas.

FYi, the seed of the fallen is an item that Renner used to become a demon and I think Renner planned to work for a couple of decades and show result to get another seed of the fallen for climb (but maybe she also planned that showing the result of her plan to Ainz will give her a bonus aka the seed of the fallen)...but she got another one right off the bat and was estatic because Climb can become a demon almost immediately
Well not quite immediately, Renner will have to find another orphanage full of innocent children to poison in order to power the Seed first.

Next thing after season 4 of Overlord is Movie based on Holy Kingdom. But in overlord LN, that arc, "the Holy Kingdom" took place before 4th season i.e. volume 14 "the witch of fallen kingdom". There are 16 volumes in Overlord and anime is upto 14th volume.
Next anime season will be based upon either volume 15+16 i.e. "the dark elf kingdom" or the side volume about cure elim dragon, the highest level character of new world ever revealed, level 95. Or maybe both the volumes 15+16 and this dragon character.
In any case, we will get movie next year and anime atleast 1 year after the movie. So we will have to wait atleast 2 years for next anime season.

Ainz did said. That sword could maybe kill him. But he did not or forgot to mention that it probably need a level 100 to wield it to achieve a reasonable damage to him.
What he means is Nephelia wielding it could kill him. Its a magic item one most have an affinty for to activate, and Nephelia is able to use any magic item as his unique quirk.
The sword is crafted through wild magic, which when brought forth is able to ignore defenses and strike at the soul directly.
Its actual in game property translated is just "ignores defenses, deals 1% of targets max hp as damage per swing."

Seed of the Fallen is used to change races in Yggradsil. The user has to commit a number of atrocities in order to activate it. In Renner's case poisoning the Orphanage, Killing her Father......etc
Its actually got a very specific activation requirement, it must be a betrayal of innocent that trusts you, or betrayal of one who calls you friend and trusts you.
If you go outside of Philip mansion you'll see a nightmare don't know why the anime din't show it.

という、表向きの目的をアルベドに押し付けてナザリックから当分逃亡しようとした結果
アウラとマーレを引き連れて、お友達つくりの旅へと赴くことに成りましたとさ（現実逃避の逃亡です）

You can see who's Ainz and who's Pandora Actor by looking at their chest, the red orb in Ainz chest isn't a part of his body so Pandora Actor can't have it while in Ainz transformation. That red orb is actually an World Item that affect directly to Ainz. Climb thought it was Ainz heart so he went for it. LOL

Seed of Fallen is an item to change race. To become a demon, she first need to satisfied a task which is disgusting and disgrace. And her task was poisoning the orphans. She already a demon way early on since Climb is they only human that are left in the kingdom alive (throne room scene).
And now we have to wait two years for the fifth season, I hope they show the movie this year or the beginning of the new year

In a way, Renner also manipulated Nazarick to get what she wants. She noted everything went according to her calculations except for something Ainz did. But other than that, she got through the “last hurdle”. So every obstacle was foreseen by her.
Not quite, Phillip fucked it all up for her, she had to improvise after what he did, in the end she did get what she wanted nevertheless
It’s not that she manipulated more that nothing went wrong she accomplished her goal but also didn’t try to take advantage of aniz because she if incredibly terrified of him and is smart enough to not bite the hand that feeds her

no way overlord 5 is the last. they still have so much material to cover, and the ln still has two more volumes i think. they'd have to pull an aot to get everything done in one final season. the alternative is to skip content, like they did with overlord 4, but that's lame asl, and they'd skip more content than they did with s4.

The series was great but I'm kinda sad they skipped a volume (or 2, cant remember) to go straight to the destruction of the Kingdom ! I was really looking forward to seeing that Neia and of course the "Queen of Clubs" 😂
That's for the movie that's probably coming next year. Demi's VA also mentioned being pretty excited for the club scene.

I can’t stand people who have to TALK through so many scenes. Like just listen to her sing and shut up and enjoy it first before you make comments like damn people lol. Am I the only one who feels like that? You ruin it for yourself when you talk over the dialogue and scenes. Just like mouth breathers who have to talk through a whole movie in the theater. I get that some things are exciting and it’s fine to go ahead and whisper “oh that was cool” or “omg wow” or what have you, but it ruins it if you go on a long diatribe about the CGI or how the scene looks or could have been better WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT! It’s like it’s hard for people to get entranced anymore and pulled into the movie or show you’re trying to watch.
