Same!! Did you know that irl he married Jenifer the actor that played his sister in the show. Seasons 2-5 I believe, he got cancer while they were together and her boyfriend on the show got killed in front of her (Lundy) I think that probably played a small part in why it didn’t last. You can feel the protective feeling he has for her especially in seasons 3-4. By season 6 he barely seems to notice her. So if you know then you can see the change of dynamic between them but at the time I didn’t know and didn’t see it at all

Dexter is one of my favourite series, he's a great person and he's not psychopath at all but he played one of the most charming psychos ever. I'm looking forward to Dexter: Original Sin and the sequel series to New Blood, Dexter: Resurrrection - which I'm sure will be airing between late 2025 to early 2026. 2026 will, of course, mark the 20th anniversary of the year the original series premiered. The franchise turned 20 this year since Darkly Dreaming Dexter was published in July 2004. Time is a funny thing - though I'm glad the character has endured for this long.

Its like the biggest middle finger ever. I loved every episode of dexter, except the final episode of season 8. It just seemed so underwhelming, considering the show had been so satisfying up till that point. I haven't seen new blood yet, so I'll have to see how that does.
