Hi Alex, I think $18 price is relative to the amenities. Most times I look for AC mini-splits-(rectangular shaped), because they operate on a more quieter level, but having any AC is a must for me to sleep well. The laundry service is convenient. Do they accept tips? How is the internet and TV service there? Mbps? Channels? How far away was the area to dump the garbage? My biggest takeaway is the shower floor separator, I am with you on that uneasy feeling about walking on the same undivided floor that shares water drainage with the urinator and dipper 😮.
Me too about the AC. They do accept tips I have my own Amazon Fire stick I bring everywhere. So I watch youtube and Netflix there. Garbage is at the end of thr hall.
Hi Alex, we're currently living in IT park (Avida Towers Riala) and will be here for a week! I agree that it's a very cool area to stay in Cebu, thanks for the video meantime enjoy your trips 🙌🏻🇵🇭
The stovetop wont work or detect your pan because its an Induction Burner, and you are trying to use a cheap pan on it. Youll need to get a proper ferromagnetic Stainless steel pan, or the stovetop will not detect it and not turn on. There is probably junky cheap aluminum in that pan, or god knows what. Go try another pan marked as ferromagnetic, and it'll turn on and cook just fine.
The Condo looks great. I'm planning to be in Cebu in November for at least six months. Do you know what does a One bedroom run?I've been looking at Business Park & IT Park.
Well done apt. tour. Good location at a bargain price. I like that you have cooking facilities. I've learned to cook everything in a small rice cooker --- vegetables, fish fillet and even hamburger patties. Except roast chicken which is easier and cheap to buy everywhere.
Thanks for showing us your accommodation. No wet floor while I sit on the throne 😁 and definitely no wet toilet seat for me. Nice studio but a tad smaller compared to others like the ones in CBP / Ayala area. Like you, I'm also practical and all I need is a place to crash but I do prefer more ambiance than a hotel room and having the ability to cook. I should get there in a couple of months and planning on getting an Airbnb unit for around a month while shopping around for a long-term rental. The only problem with Airbnb is that unlike hotels, extending a stay beyond the initial booked period is not guaranteed (in case I need more time to decide on a rental) as the unit may already be booked by other guests. BTW, what type of rent payment method can one expect with owner or property management for long-term rentals?
Mate lookup The Median its just outside of IT park zone but literally stones throw newly built similar size to this about 20-25k month long term rental
That is a nice condo Alex a basketball court to very cool I stayed in a place like that the CR had a washing machine a bit crowded but functional but to be able to bring you're own laundry to a certain place that is really cool and the people there are having fun. That is a very nice place to stay in comfy I should go there some time when I go to Cebu. 😎😎
What's Up, Alex. I will be in Cebu in March. I got a place in Avida Towers Riala for two months with Air B&B, but I am looking to stay for six months to a year. Will it be cheaper to find a place to rent on my own or continue to use Air B&B? Also, would you be able to suggest a real estate agent that could help find a rental? Thanks for all the info, and keep up the good work; it's nice to see someone who is genuinely happy to be doing what you are doing.
Thanks bro Just use airbmb and offer the owner power rate cash. That's what I always do. Or go to Facebook and search cebu condo rentals and join the groups which owners and agents list their units. Most want 6 months to a year contract though. But a lot cheaper than airbnb sometimes
I am thinking of visiting in March. Like the area and the apartment. I have to do more research on the area. Does the area have a nice nightlife? Hope we can talk to get some advice. 👍🏽
Hey Alex, is the Internet, water, electricity, and cable etc all included for the $18 a night? I watch your videos all the time. You’re so helpful brother. I’m seriously going to move there in about a year. You give me the confidence to go for it. Thank you
Hey Alex, your Toronto friend here :) $18/night is very cheap for short term. I'm moving to Cebu City at the end of July. Contacted a RE Agent and told that 1 bedroom in IT Park is about 35k-40k peso. Does that sound about right to you? Also I'll look at Business Park as well but don't have a price for that area and not sure if it's the same price as IT Park or more. Thoughts appreciated, thanks!
Mate go look up newly built condo "The median" literally stones throw away from IT park similar size to this unit he is showing long term rental about 20-25k/month good luck mate
less congested Less people Closer to the beaches Cheaper rent Great expat community Close to Bohol and Dumaguete as well as many othe rof my fav places. Just feels more like my community here now Still got an international airport and matches my lifestyle since I'm not big into the nightlife etc
Hello there, I would like to know from you the following please: Do you have any suggestions as to what is the best way of finding a place to live in Cebu? Thank you.
Hi Alex, i will be over there in late February. This place looks ideal for me. Do you have to reserve a room well in advance? What was that name again? Great video😊
I skip it park when i visited Cebu . cuz its close when its midnight😂 haha but i will be back cuz i fell in love to Cebu. I left my heart in Oslob. Also i forgot to jump during canyoneering . my knees suddenly get nervous seeing a lot of cute guys . 😂niahahah. I love Cebu.i knew i will be back.cuz cebu has so much to offer . I will be back guys. Thanks, Mikey. Yoo much work, haha. I eat the night market.

Very well said. I made a deal to pay them cash. Since I don't want to pay airbnb fees, taxes, and cleaning fees.
You can pay through the site as well

Yea, totally. Very convenient and excellent location.
You may need to put a pot on top of it to start the stove cooktop
I tried. I had a pan on it. Maybe it was too light or something. 🤷

Thank you for the video, nice apartment! How does Davao compare to Cebu? Thanks again.
He condos and units are the same basically. A bit more security in Davao. Prices are similar
