True. But once the drink has balance & a story behind it you can focus on the aesthetics - sick garnish, correct glassing and something visually arresting. As an American living in Australia, I remain endlessly surprised at how expensive everything here is. I don't mean absolute dollars or exchange rate or anything like that, but how much I need to work to afford the equivalent good or service. It's a good thing Aussies themselves are such a wonderful lot to make it worthwhile.
This is why I only go to sport pubs they actually pour the drinks really well even when busy. In-fact most bars pour drinks well it’s more of the clubs that are exactly like this 😂
Reminds me of a bartender making me a "caipirinha" it's supposed to have about 2-3 shots in it for the 500ml cup size. Guy turned the bottle and started talking to me. He poured about 4/5 of the cup. Walking was extremely difficult in the pool park. Yes the pool park serves alcohol drinks. The weird rule is you can only order from the in-water bar, and not the out of the water one. So you gotta walk into the pool, to the bar, order, get it and then out. You can drink in or out, but only order in.
