Wore out 3 sets of 244 so cheap its great on road if you warm them who cares if they wear out. Road the canyons in sturgis on klr with these.

I like the shinko 244 for the rear, but prefer the shinko 241 for the front it grips better
Hey Lemmy! Can you guys slap a set of the brand new Dunlop Mission Trails on a Scrambler 1200 XE, Honda African and GS and ride the piss out of them? I just put a set of Continental TrailAttack3 on my ScramblerXE for the upcoming rainy season we have here in the PacNW but will like need a new set come spring since I’m already 2,000 miles on this new set and it’s only been a month and a half since I had them mounted. Love what you guys do! Ride On!

I use michelin ac10 tires on my beta rr125 but i mostly ride on the pavement. I just use them because i think they look better than the more street looking tires.

I run Dunlop TrailMax Mission on my KTM 390 Adventure and on my DR650 great all round tire, great for paved, gravel and gnarly dirt roads. and not bad on light trails. They will do mud but not the best for it. ON my CRF 300 L I am going with Dunlop D606 rear and Pirelli M16 front, which I have not tried yet but from what I have seen should be very good for 90 % off road. the CRF is in the shop just waiting for the parts, to make it a good off road bike.
I am using the Pirelli scorpion 140/80 R17 on my Bmw F650 GS. Will the Heidenau K60 Scout 150/70 R17 fit
I'm pretty sure it's just a bit too wide for the F650, so I would stay with the narrower 140. -DrewZilla

What would you guys suggest for thorns? I ride a crf 230l. I commute 60 miles every day and also like to take it off-road to fish down by the ocean. The only problem I have is keawe thorns. I was going fishing everday after work. Then one day after I came home I looked, and both my tires had thorns in them. Maybe about 20 thorns each, but only 2-3 penetrated into the tube. Is there a tire that is a little bit tougher against punctures? Or a method like going tubeless and siliconing my spokes, then using green slime? Any help or tips would be appreciated thanks. Right now I got irc110s on my bike.

How long do the the Shinko 244s last?
That depends on your weight, the bike weight, and how you use the tires. Generally speaking, you should expect a few thousand miles. Reviews are saying anywhere from 4,000 to 8,000 miles out of a rear on a KLR650. Feel free to peruse the reviews to get a better idea. -DrewZilla

FOREVER I had them on my dr350 and they would easily get 5-6k. I mostly rode that bike commuting on pavement.
Gonna end up lasting about 2,500 on my xr650l. Guess I should stop doing so many wheelies?

They all do pretty well in the rain, but understand that they aren't as good as full on-road touring tires for wet grip on pavement. -DrewZilla

The tires on my enduro bike get moved over to my dual sport bike as the lose their edge. A razor blade can turn a non DOT approved tire into a DOT approved tire in a matter of seconds.

I wish you had broken down 'Dual Sport' into two different categories: 'trail bikes' and 'high performance' - which would include bikes like the KTM500 EXE, Husky 501, and Beta 500 RR-S. This video does very little to help riders in the 'high performance' category pick rubber. Overall a disappointing 'dual sport' video ...
