Also his cheaper cost factoring wouldn’t jive with trying to make more $. His opinions seem quite detailed and from personal experience. I don’t see why I wouldn’t trust his. He has access to every tire, gets paid to know the products he sells & suggests, and doesn’t come across as a scripted, promotional attempt for one brand over another.
These recommendations haven't really changed meaningfully enough to make a new video. Most of these tires are still the same and still just as good. Time moves slow in the cycle world

My wife and I run the Kenda K270 on our DR650's and we get 14k kms on average. We rode across Canada this pass summer (5800+kms) and the tires performed flawlessly. Best bang for your buck in our opinion. Great video Fortnine team! *T4S*
Sum4Seb i had a set of those on my DR. Fantastic off road. I do more commuting on mine now, so i went with the 705s. Anything is better than the stock tires though.
I have been traveling across the Americas, started in Miami, through Baja, then Mexico down to Panama and across the Darien to Colombia and now entering Bolivia and over 32,000 km so far on Heidenau K60 Scout.s. On my second set after 20,000 km, and could have gone longer. The only issue for me has been the wet slippery red clay on the Ecuador border where I had my first off, exiting a corner they just slid and kept sliding until my inglorious off. Other than that they have been sensational.
Michelin Anakee 3 is made from a single compound. It's hard all around and that shouldn't be a complaint. It's to send feedback to rider when riding off road. After all, it's a dual sport tire. Great video Ryan, as always.
I can vouch for the SHINKO 705's. Had them on a KTM 450 Enduro. ONROAD: never slipped on dry/wet pavement, great cornering, handled highways speeds and were smooth/stable. OFFROAD: excellent in dry hard packed gravel or dirt. Not so good in mud or grass.
I just came back from a 11000 km Tour on a BMW R 1200 GS (LC) equipped with a pair of Continental's TKC 70. The route went from Germany via the Baltic States, Finland, Norway up to the Nordkapp, then southward along the norwegian westcoast to Langesund, via ferry to Denmark and finally back to Germany. The outside air temperature ranged from 35°C (95°F) down to 2°C (35°F) with lots of sun, rain and even some snow. I came across all kinds of roads from perfect to dirt track. The TKC 70 proved to be a wonderful tire. Comfortable, low rolling noise, very reliable with lots of grip under all road conditions, good directional stability, agile with almost no diminishing handling after lots of wear and even providing a high mileage (I made the whole trip on one set of tires). And most importantly: There was no wobbling of the front tire whatsoever. I even considered using this tire as my standard.
I've run 705s on a KLR, a Tiger Explorer and now my Tiger 800. Best for the money period. I've got over 80,000 miles of experience on them. I now am trying the 804/805 combo on the 800 and love them for 50/50 riding.

I bought a shinko yesterday and I'm amazed of its performance. Definitely a 50/50 for me. Roads in my city are not good which makes shinko perfect for my everyday commute.
Hey Ryan you do excellent commentaries. I've been riding over 50 years. I have had my motorcycle endorsement for 47 years.I have Been a motorcycle mechanic for 40 years. I mainly work on the Big Four Honda Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki dirt and Street. I have been running the Shinko tires for as long as they've been out dirt and Street. Bottom line is if you don't ride for a living this is the best tire for the money hands down.
Brilliant review of the current dual sport tires. You tell it exactly the way it is and get the essential points across succinctly. I do quite long off road hauls, like the extended version of the TAT in August 2015. I flew from England with my KTM690 into Montreal on Air Canada (bless them, cheaper than shipping and on my bike within an hour of landing) then crossed 14 states in the US before riding up to Vancouver to fly back.On that 7,500 mile trip I went through 3 rear TCK80's and frankly I should have used K60s from the Canadian border to Mississippi which was 70 per cent tarmac and then as it changed to 85% dirt from Mississippi onwards over the Rockies and across Utah and Nevada I should have used Dunlop D606's . Before I set off from Heathrow on Air Canada later this year to New Zealand with my bike I will be certain to check out your channel for any updates. Thanks pal for a great contribution.
Second set of Annakee 3's and have never had a puncture. Mixed riding . 2600 km tour of Newfoundland no issues. Lots of mixed trails and beaches. Did get over 17,ooo on the set. They do hate wet grass. But then so do I ha .... Never had any wobble or slip in turns not even wet turns . 2012 KLR650 .

Something to mention with the Shinko 244 is the speed rating. They're only L rated, so if your bike does more than 75mph, don't get the 244. The K270 is rated for 93, so it isn't much better, but for someone on a KLR that does highway miles in between trails, being able to do 80 is nice.
I would give a good shoutout for the Michelin Anakee Wild-tyres, I have them on my R1200GSA LC and they handle really well on road as well as offroad. The rear tyre usually makes about 8000km's and front tyre somewhere between 15000-20000km's.
Oh I watched this video 2 years ago and again today. My small 150cc bike is having now E705 at rear and 244 at front both from shinko and both were in this video😁 I think Ryan will approve 😁👍 great video

His videos are absolutely cracking. I’m using Pirelli Scorpion 🦂 Rally STR Tires on my KTM Duke 125 just had them fitted 200 miles ago and so far so good.
I love the Michelin Sirac tires. For me they are Perfect! lots of predictable solid grip on road and very good off-road capabilities! i have bought them for 3 bikes so far and loved them!
I purchased a set of Shinko 705 tires based partially on your recommendation and ended up with a bad front . The wheel would produce oscillation at certain speeds . Now this is not indicative of these tires and I will try them again in the future but it illustrates a need to test the tires after they are installed. Give them some love as new tires are notoriously awkward but look for oscillation at higher speeds. I did get to try them at low speeds on broken rock and loose gravel in a hill situation. Despite being a terribly new person to off road they were comfortably stable. I felt like the bike was sure footed and responsive using these tires.
The Shinko 805 is an awesome tyre; I went through three on my Africa Twin (see it in the F9 review video ;) ) my last one lasted from Utah off road to the Oregon coast THEN on road from Oregon to Victoria(BC) and back to Montreal.
I have to agree with your light dual sport suggestion. Used an mt21 front and 606 rear on a trip through utah and colorado in 2013. Great wear, and still sticky on pavement. Last year used the shinko 244 and loved it for longevity. Have not tried the anakee 3 yet, but the compound worked great in the wet commuting on my vstrom. Currently using 705 front and rear on my versys, and although a bit sketch at the limit or in wet, cost can not be beat. Keep up the great reviews.
What would be the tire of choice for: * All-year riding * good in rain * not-a-catastrophe-if-there's-a-little-snow-on-the-road * mostly tarmac, only occasional light off-roading to get from A to B * as good as possible for curvy street riding * no mud
Just got in my new front tire for my 2020 Tw200 (Shinko 244 5.10-18) I've heard so many good things. The tread depth is a lot beefer than I expected! Time to replace the "death wing" .....
804/805 in my experience gets significantly better mileage than the TKC80s. They're also at least here in the US significantly cheaper. It's a tiny bit more to buy one TKC Rear than to buy a full set of Shinkos.
nice comparison. ive run the tkc80 and d606 rear... d606 is by farvrhe best dual sport tire ive had. pushing it hard on and off road i got around 8000kms. the tkc80 is amazingly grippy on the road but it wears down so fast and the knobs start of so small that after 500kms the knobs are not even up to scratch in the mud and dirt. the tkc80 is great if u dont mind changing it every 2 to 3000kms. however the tkc80 front is awesome... so the ultimate pairing is d606 rear with tkc80 front.
I love my TKC80 front tire - super stable, it absolutely got rid of the head sway I was experiencing with my previous knobby (the terrible IRC TR8 - buyer beware). I've got a Shinko 805 to try out next on the rear. Not sure if I can stray from my beloved TKC80 front even though I haven't tried much else...it just does everything I want it to!
Motoz Tractionator GPS was my tyre of choice ( mounted in the off road direction) on my Tiger 800XCx for 50/50 use. My buddy on a KTM 990 hated the Motoz GPS ( mounted road directions) on wet sealed roads. I also got good service from the Mitas E07 as a 50/50 tyre.
Great review Ryan. Yours is the only one with any decent information on the Tractionator GPS and has convinced me try one on my Ducati Enduro. I was struggling to decide whether to mount in the 50/50 or mostly off-road direction as I have a lengthy road ride in a few weeks. Considering I don't really notice the bumpiness or noise of the Pirelli Scorpion Rally and prefer maximum grip when venturing off-road, I'm swaying towards just leaving it in mostly off-road instead of flipping it around to suit the ride.

Off road tires are good for most highways in this U.S. State; All the roads are "sucko". In my opinion 50/50 tires are the best choice, in the cities too! Thanks man for the great job! James Smith.
FYI...Continental TKC80 is made in Korea by Shinko to Continental's specs. Shinko designed the 804/805 to be slightly better hence the better wear factor & as good or better performance. Look on TKC sidewall & you'll see "made in Korea". Trace the DOT numbers to Shinko factory. You can't go wrong with the 804/805.
sweet! I'm running K60 scout rear and a TCK80 front on my 03 F650GS and love em so far, first season. Cool thing is that my size of K60 does NOT have the solid bar centre but has quite the spacing throughout the tire profile.
I have the tkc70. It's way better then I expected honestly. Plenty of grip on the street and in the twisies. The front has plenty of grip offroad as well. You can push the rear out quite easily on gravel while the bike is upright. As soon as you lean in it grips though. Heaps of fun. Also my bike (tenere) doesn't wobble at all. Maxed it out on the autobahn ~180kph no problem. The only limitation is mud. The rear cakes up faster then say a tkc80
I just hit 10,000 kilometres on my Pirelli MT 60's on my KLR and they are still absolutely brand new. They don't get a great rep for some reason, but I've found them better that TKC 80's, Mitas, Dunlop's, ect. I want to try Shinkos next but it'll be hard to get another tire...
Just my 2 cents, Avon Gripster is an awesome 30/70 tire for the 650 thumpers., awesome on the street, very good in the rain, good on dirt backroads, fair on wet dirt and they don't like mud.... did I mention they don't like mud? 12k mileage on the rear heavily loaded touring, more on the front, just tossed a half wore rear tire on to wear the front out and start a fresh set. Bitch to install and the front tires tread pattern looks backwards when you install it in the direction indicated for rotation, but it works great, brakes hard, corners good. Ontario- Quebec - Labrador - Newfoundland - Nova Scotia - New Brunswick - Quebec - Ontario, 10 days, almost 8k, flawless. Currently have a set of Kenda Big Blocks on.... I do not like them. When they are done, Avons again or Kenda K761
Well, the K60 didn't make it into this year's line-up, the Tractinator GPS seems to have knocked the Heidi off the throne. The K60 tends to be a mixed bag for many people. I myself had it on the 800GSA like the one in the back of the room and was very happy. It handled well in the dry, in the wet, in the soft, anywhere really and there was no howling or vibration that many others had reported. After getting the 1200GS this year and putting them on - completely different story. Stiff, felt like riding wooden tires. Front was obnoxiously loud, howling and vibrating at pretty much any speed. After switching to TKC80, just couldn't believe how more comfortable TKC's felt in comparison - softer, quieter, super confidence inspiring off-road and handled almost unbelievably well on pavement too. I might try the E805's you mention next - could be a cheaper alternative.

Great video! I have a KLR650. I don't care about cost or mileage. I ride 80% road, 20% off road, mostly fire road, gravel or some sand. I want the best tire for traction in rain, wet pavement. The best!
I was a huge fan of the k60 but they wear flat in 4000km and then bike is very wobbly (I tried both 130 and a 140 on the rear). The front can last 18000km. Now Im using shinko 804/805 on my triumph scrambler, they wear more evenly performe just as well and are like half the price of the k60.Rear lasts about 6000km like the k60, but it handles great all the way as opposed to the k60). You will change the front for every 2 rear tires.
Ryan, what would you recommend for a 50 year old 125cc dual sport that has 3x18 wheels? For commuting that involves a very slavic country appropriate road but also city traffic. MIchelin citypro? Heidenau K41? There's like no tyres in that size i can find locally.

You mentioned your "beloved Heidenau K60 Scouts," but they did not make your list. I am a fan of them too, mostly due to their long lives (19,000 km back and 25,000 km front on a 1200GS) and good all around handling. Am i living in the past? What am I giving up by running them?
Hello! The short answer to your question is no - you're not living in the past. The K60 is still a phenomenal tire in terms of mileage, especially considering how well it handles off-road. Expect to see a lot of ADV guys still wearing them in 2017. And 2018. And probably 2019. *But* the Tractionator GPS (from this video) does the same job as the K60 and lasts a smidge longer. Plus it's reversible and that brings some versatility to the table. Most people will never flip the tire around anyway, but the fact that you *could* flip it to get more off-road traction is enough to choose it over the K60. Hope that helps! ~RyanF9
I could not wait to tear off my Karoo 3's. Scary on anything but paved roads. Good on pavement, and gives bragging rights for visual design, but they are not for me. I liked the old Karoo 2's better. Even though the 3's last longer. The achilles of the Karoo 3 is the sideways grip in the loose stuff. Hope that helps:)
I bought Mitas E10 Dakar (front, 90/90-21) and Mitas E09 Dakar (rear, 120/90-17) for my 2006 Honda Transalp. I will go to Ukraine next month. What do you think about their design? E09 looks similar to Continental TKC70.
I was wondering your thoughts on Mitas E07's. I have a F800GS, the factory tires have about 5k miles on them, so in a few months I will be looking for some new shoes on her. I commute 25miles each way to work, 5 days a week. I like to hit some gravel / light offroad from time to time on my way to and from work. I take the bike as long as there is no ice on the roads. What is a long life tire that you would recommend?
Worst dual tired ever, the ones that comes on the Africa Twin (Dunlop). Have several friends that damage the inner tube of the front tire after riding off road with the stock tires (nothing nasty). Got my brand new AT and I'm looking for a replacement, even though current tires are brand new. Thank you for the video, now I have a good idea about where to look.
Awesome review R9; very comprehensive! My Mitas E-07's are just about shot, so this review is perfect timing - E-07's are great in dry dirt and even good wet dirt, but just okay on pavement (front floats on grooves). Shinko 705's are excellent on my Triumph Tiger 800xc for serious knee dragging and decent DRY dirt riding and slide very predictably on asphalt. I've been wanting Tractionators... but last I checked they're not in my size (90/90-21 front is limiting).

okay guys I drag pegs on a Yamaha Super Tenere. I love the OEM battle wings, but will be riding off road at a rally soon with some aggressive street riding as well. Will log about 3000 miles over about 5 days. Mitas eO7 was on my list but heard not great at lean angle on the street. How bout the Metzler karoo3s? Or how bout the shinko 804/805? Need tires that can corner on the street good and better than the OEM battle wings in the dirt

Since February 2016, Continental changed the TKC-70 and they don't wobble anymore. Excellent tyres for my R1200GS.

I would give a good shoutout for the Michelin Anakee Wild-tyres, I have them on my R1200GSA LC and they handle really well on road as well as offroad.
The rear tyre usually makes about 8000km's and front tyre somewhere between 15000-20000km's.
For aggressive 90% off road on my Husaberg 570 I run the Motoz Tractionator D ( Intermediate compound ) and it's very good. Excellent all round.
Oh I watched this video 2 years ago and again today. My small 150cc bike is having now E705 at rear and 244 at front both from shinko and both were in this video😁 I think Ryan will approve 😁👍 great video

His videos are absolutely cracking. I’m using Pirelli Scorpion 🦂 Rally STR Tires on my KTM Duke 125 just had them fitted 200 miles ago and so far so good.
I love the Michelin Sirac tires. For me they are Perfect! lots of predictable solid grip on road and very good off-road capabilities! i have bought them for 3 bikes so far and loved them!
I purchased a set of Shinko 705 tires based partially on your recommendation and ended up with a bad front . The wheel would produce oscillation at certain speeds . Now this is not indicative of these tires and I will try them again in the future but it illustrates a need to test the tires after they are installed. Give them some love as new tires are notoriously awkward but look for oscillation at higher speeds. I did get to try them at low speeds on broken rock and loose gravel in a hill situation. Despite being a terribly new person to off road they were comfortably stable. I felt like the bike was sure footed and responsive using these tires.

The Shinko 805 is an awesome tyre; I went through three on my Africa Twin (see it in the F9 review video ;) ) my last one lasted from Utah off road to the Oregon coast THEN on road from Oregon to Victoria(BC) and back to Montreal.
I have to agree with your light dual sport suggestion. Used an mt21 front and 606 rear on a trip through utah and colorado in 2013. Great wear, and still sticky on pavement. Last year used the shinko 244 and loved it for longevity. Have not tried the anakee 3 yet, but the compound worked great in the wet commuting on my vstrom. Currently using 705 front and rear on my versys, and although a bit sketch at the limit or in wet, cost can not be beat. Keep up the great reviews.

* good in rain
* not-a-catastrophe-if-there's-a-little-snow-on-the-road
* mostly tarmac, only occasional light off-roading to get from A to B
* as good as possible for curvy street riding
* no mud

Just got in my new front tire for my 2020 Tw200 (Shinko 244 5.10-18) I've heard so many good things. The tread depth is a lot beefer than I expected! Time to replace the "death wing" .....
804/805 in my experience gets significantly better mileage than the TKC80s. They're also at least here in the US significantly cheaper. It's a tiny bit more to buy one TKC Rear than to buy a full set of Shinkos.

nice comparison. ive run the tkc80 and d606 rear... d606 is by farvrhe best dual sport tire ive had. pushing it hard on and off road i got around 8000kms. the tkc80 is amazingly grippy on the road but it wears down so fast and the knobs start of so small that after 500kms the knobs are not even up to scratch in the mud and dirt. the tkc80 is great if u dont mind changing it every 2 to 3000kms. however the tkc80 front is awesome... so the ultimate pairing is d606 rear with tkc80 front.
I’d recommend the Shinko 244 Dual Sport Tire if your on enduro on a budget but I’d recommend Dunlop’s if your going to spend more time off road
I love my TKC80 front tire - super stable, it absolutely got rid of the head sway I was experiencing with my previous knobby (the terrible IRC TR8 - buyer beware). I've got a Shinko 805 to try out next on the rear. Not sure if I can stray from my beloved TKC80 front even though I haven't tried much else...it just does everything I want it to!
Like my 85/15 Metzeler Tourance on my GS. Great commuting / touring and can turn off onto truck trails and fire roads. Good balance if you ride a lot.

Motoz Tractionator GPS was my tyre of choice ( mounted in the off road direction) on my Tiger 800XCx for 50/50 use. My buddy on a KTM 990 hated the Motoz GPS ( mounted road directions) on wet sealed roads. I also got good service from the Mitas E07 as a 50/50 tyre.
A3's just HOWL! Came on my GS, and couldn't wait to get them off!

Great review Ryan. Yours is the only one with any decent information on the Tractionator GPS and has convinced me try one on my Ducati Enduro. I was struggling to decide whether to mount in the 50/50 or mostly off-road direction as I have a lengthy road ride in a few weeks. Considering I don't really notice the bumpiness or noise of the Pirelli Scorpion Rally and prefer maximum grip when venturing off-road, I'm swaying towards just leaving it in mostly off-road instead of flipping it around to suit the ride.
Please review the Avon trail rider and Pirelli MT60 RS and MT90 tyres.

Off road tires are good for most highways in this U.S. State; All the roads are "sucko". In my opinion 50/50 tires are the best choice, in the cities too! Thanks man for the great job! James Smith.
FYI...Continental TKC80 is made in Korea by Shinko to Continental's specs. Shinko designed the 804/805 to be slightly better hence the better wear factor & as good or better performance. Look on TKC sidewall & you'll see "made in Korea". Trace the DOT numbers to Shinko factory. You can't go wrong with the 804/805.

If you run the motos backwards on the rear does it mean that you sacrifice highway mileage?

sweet! I'm running K60 scout rear and a TCK80 front on my 03 F650GS and love em so far, first season. Cool thing is that my size of K60 does NOT have the solid bar centre but has quite the spacing throughout the tire profile.

I have the tkc70. It's way better then I expected honestly. Plenty of grip on the street and in the twisies. The front has plenty of grip offroad as well. You can push the rear out quite easily on gravel while the bike is upright. As soon as you lean in it grips though. Heaps of fun. Also my bike (tenere) doesn't wobble at all. Maxed it out on the autobahn ~180kph no problem.
The only limitation is mud. The rear cakes up faster then say a tkc80
I just hit 10,000 kilometres on my Pirelli MT 60's on my KLR and they are still absolutely brand new. They don't get a great rep for some reason, but I've found them better that TKC 80's, Mitas, Dunlop's, ect. I want to try Shinkos next but it'll be hard to get another tire...
Just my 2 cents, Avon Gripster is an awesome 30/70 tire for the 650 thumpers., awesome on the street, very good in the rain, good on dirt backroads, fair on wet dirt and they don't like mud.... did I mention they don't like mud? 12k mileage on the rear heavily loaded touring, more on the front, just tossed a half wore rear tire on to wear the front out and start a fresh set. Bitch to install and the front tires tread pattern looks backwards when you install it in the direction indicated for rotation, but it works great, brakes hard, corners good. Ontario- Quebec - Labrador - Newfoundland - Nova Scotia - New Brunswick - Quebec - Ontario, 10 days, almost 8k, flawless. Currently have a set of Kenda Big Blocks on.... I do not like them. When they are done, Avons again or Kenda K761
Well, the K60 didn't make it into this year's line-up, the Tractinator GPS seems to have knocked the Heidi off the throne. The K60 tends to be a mixed bag for many people. I myself had it on the 800GSA like the one in the back of the room and was very happy. It handled well in the dry, in the wet, in the soft, anywhere really and there was no howling or vibration that many others had reported. After getting the 1200GS this year and putting them on - completely different story. Stiff, felt like riding wooden tires. Front was obnoxiously loud, howling and vibrating at pretty much any speed. After switching to TKC80, just couldn't believe how more comfortable TKC's felt in comparison - softer, quieter, super confidence inspiring off-road and handled almost unbelievably well on pavement too. I might try the E805's you mention next - could be a cheaper alternative.

I was a huge fan of the k60 but they wear flat in 4000km and then bike is very wobbly (I tried both 130 and a 140 on the rear). The front can last 18000km. Now Im using shinko 804/805 on my triumph scrambler, they wear more evenly performe just as well and are like half the price of the k60.Rear lasts about 6000km like the k60, but it handles great all the way as opposed to the k60). You will change the front for every 2 rear tires.

Ryan, what would you recommend for a 50 year old 125cc dual sport that has 3x18 wheels? For commuting that involves a very slavic country appropriate road but also city traffic. MIchelin citypro? Heidenau K41? There's like no tyres in that size i can find locally.

You mentioned your "beloved Heidenau K60 Scouts," but they did not make your list. I am a fan of them too, mostly due to their long lives (19,000 km back and 25,000 km front on a 1200GS) and good all around handling. Am i living in the past? What am I giving up by running them?
Hello! The short answer to your question is no - you're not living in the past. The K60 is still a phenomenal tire in terms of mileage, especially considering how well it handles off-road. Expect to see a lot of ADV guys still wearing them in 2017. And 2018. And probably 2019. *But* the Tractionator GPS (from this video) does the same job as the K60 and lasts a smidge longer. Plus it's reversible and that brings some versatility to the table. Most people will never flip the tire around anyway, but the fact that you *could* flip it to get more off-road traction is enough to choose it over the K60. Hope that helps! ~RyanF9

I could not wait to tear off my Karoo 3's. Scary on anything but paved roads. Good on pavement, and gives bragging rights for visual design, but they are not for me. I liked the old Karoo 2's better. Even though the 3's last longer. The achilles of the Karoo 3 is the sideways grip in the loose stuff. Hope that helps:)
I bought Mitas E10 Dakar (front, 90/90-21) and Mitas E09 Dakar (rear, 120/90-17) for my 2006 Honda Transalp. I will go to Ukraine next month.
What do you think about their design? E09 looks similar to Continental TKC70.
Motoz tyres are great Adventure tyre on the front for grip and the Adventure on the rear for long life.

I was wondering your thoughts on Mitas E07's. I have a F800GS, the factory tires have about 5k miles on them, so in a few months I will be looking for some new shoes on her. I commute 25miles each way to work, 5 days a week. I like to hit some gravel / light offroad from time to time on my way to and from work. I take the bike as long as there is no ice on the roads. What is a long life tire that you would recommend?
Worst dual tired ever, the ones that comes on the Africa Twin (Dunlop). Have several friends that damage the inner tube of the front tire after riding off road with the stock tires (nothing nasty). Got my brand new AT and I'm looking for a replacement, even though current tires are brand new. Thank you for the video, now I have a good idea about where to look.

Awesome review R9; very comprehensive! My Mitas E-07's are just about shot, so this review is perfect timing - E-07's are great in dry dirt and even good wet dirt, but just okay on pavement (front floats on grooves). Shinko 705's are excellent on my Triumph Tiger 800xc for serious knee dragging and decent DRY dirt riding and slide very predictably on asphalt. I've been wanting Tractionators... but last I checked they're not in my size (90/90-21 front is limiting).
I'm looking for a 50/50 tire, between the Shinko E805 and the E07, what would you chose?

okay guys I drag pegs on a Yamaha Super Tenere. I love the OEM battle wings, but will be riding off road at a rally soon with some aggressive street riding as well. Will log about 3000 miles over about 5 days. Mitas eO7 was on my list but heard not great at lean angle on the street. How bout the Metzler karoo3s? Or how bout the shinko 804/805? Need tires that can corner on the street good and better than the OEM battle wings in the dirt
