Kinda reminds me of my 1st ex-wife, 50 years ago back in Buffalo, New York. Stevens was her maiden name... cold, difficult, not much warmth either when the nights grew short and cold. You have an uncanny gift in making freight train videos up close and personal. Gonna pass on the longer video. This trailer was enough time to relive the grief. Thanks, anyway. Gracias de todos modos. R.T. sends... envía... Puebla, México...

@@7ideaproductions Thanks Aaron, very good images as always. I just got the X1500 and I was reminded why I detest small chip, nevertheless I am very much impressed with what Panasonic has been able to pack into their line of camcorders.

Yes the density of small chips can definitely be an issue. I personally don't like the idea of going smaller than 1" in a UHD/4K camera. The 350 is fairly decent in low light. The high sensitivity mode renders nice images with tolerable noise in mid tones. It does use some noise reduction in that mode. having a 5K sensor down sampled to 4K also helps with noise at the pixel level. I did look at the x1500. Like its size! Handy and good codecs from Panasonic. I think my old SONY X70 does a better job over all even if it is a little outdated.

@@7ideaproductions Part of me wishes I would have just saved up for a CX-350, but even used their price point still has me paying for a lot of features I probably won't use. I use NeatVideo to clean up grain in post, but really the biggest workflow constraint is having to export proxies of H.265 to a H.264 mp4 codec for smooth playback while editing, which I am doing in davinci resolve right now. Have you found any software that can smoothly play back 200M or 150M H.265?

@@CentralPennRailProductions Sorry such a long wait for a reply! I use Premiere Pro for editing 200m h.265 and my workstation has little trouble playing or encoding. Of course it takes hardware too. My current build uses a 24 core intel i9 4.3 ghz with 64 gigs of ram and an rtx 2080ti gpu. On my older laptop I can get by playing back footage if I cut the monitor resolution in Premiere to 1/4. It runs pretty hot but it will work. I just wish Panasonic would include software for playing and cataloging clips like SONY does with their XDCam lineup. Windows media will play the video but not audio. Static!
