  • Seventh Heaven is a Riblet Double, with center pole chairs. It is one of the steepest lifts I have ever ridden, with a slope length of 1,000 feet, and a vertical rise of 437 feet. This lift had an accident in 2020, involving tower 1, where the sheave assemblies on the light side of the lift broke. Since then, Seventh Heaven has had lifting frames added to towers 5-8. Tower 3 doesn't have any sheaves on it, and really only provides extra support to tower 2. To bee able to lap terrain on Seventh Heaven, one must take their skis or snowboard off, and hike a short stretch up to a high point, where there is a sign with information of the trails. This video is an uncut version of the ride up, hike up, and ski down. Snow conditions were very good on Seventh Heaven, and I recorded a video of getting first tracks up there. Sorry for the low camera angle, I have a new mounting position, and again Seventh Heaven is one of the steepest lifts I have ever ridden.

Less shots of your feet and skis; more of the slope ahead of you. Please! Like your lift rides. I learned to ski at Stevens.

You get off the chair and go down the ramp and then a left turn to go down m s but dumb more -ons are sitting right in the way so what you do is just plow through them and hopefully knock them out of the way, Double Black Diamond Chair Ha !

Gotta love the snowboarders creating a wall as usual directly off the lift.

Short and sweet. I think Bruno's Chairlift at Timberline Lodge is much shorter.

Also, DYK, Seventh Heaven at Blackcomb at Whistler is named after Stevens Pass’ 7th heaven.

@@billphipps453 No "Kowinkydink". Hew Smythe, who founded Blackcomb, had enjoyed his skiing at Stevens, and named W/B's 7th after Stevens Pass' 7th. I found out on a video put out by Stevens Pass about meeting on a chairlift.
