I thought that’s really important because so many of these foods have histories rooted in diverse places and peoples, not just the last place they came from. A map would be good, though, especially if any of them are visual thinkers like me. Otherwise these countries are just names rattled off with nothing to ground them.
I knew they had to be eating it wrong. I didn't know if you sprinkled it on something, or mixed it in water for a drink, but I knew there's no way you're supposed to just eat the powder.

Li Hing Mui powder is not meant to be eaten by itself. It is sprinkled sparingly on sweet or savory foods. Very good on fresh or dried fruits, or fermented/pickled fruits. Very tasty with mango, pineapple, apple, pear, or melon.
I love the facial expressions when they tried the powder. So funny. I love the last in green with the orange arm bands. She is so honest with a great smile and giggle
I think it would be REALLY helpful if people who send food and drinks for the tribal people to try included clear notes on how to consume these items. For example, if the plum powder is supposed to be sprinkled on fruit, that should have been mentioned in the package. Please don’t just assume anyone will know what to do with what they get.
And also the producer do some checks on each product received & about to be served. What's they're made of - if its halal for the Muslims & if its beef free for the Hindus, where they're from, how to serve & eat them etc. Its they're job.

Hawaii is IN the Pacific ocean, not near it. It's a bunch of islands. Li Hing Mui is usually used as a topping for like ice cream or shaved ice or fruit. I don't know a lot of Hawaiians, but I do know a lot of Asians. You'll find it in Taiwan, China, Japan (umeboshi), etc.
It varies by state. Because I live here in Virginia and I have friends up north and more southern than me. We all sometimes say "never heard of it". So it does depend on where you're living ❤

Next time please try food challenge... for example blind fold their eyes and give them food to eat and they will guess which food or snacks is it
Reactistan please have them try a traditional Spanish rice and beans or some type of Spanish food like onion steak with fried plantains. I've tried these dishes and they were so delicious.

Coffee, however like beer, is an ACQUIRED taste. Once you get used to it (of course adding cream and sugar to calm the bitterness) you find certain flavors quite nice. Drinking coffee straight however requires a bit of self hatred.

Give them sugar with any coffee or it will not taste good. Most people cannot drink black coffee like that. It needs sugar and milk to taste good.

@@danielshah3494 That really isn't that good of an explanation. Basic research will show that coffee can be taken with milk and sugar. If reactistan can put together a YT channel, I'm sure they have the resources to do the research.
It would be very helpful if the people who send these things send instructions with how they’re normally eaten/prepared/used.
