I never watched or heard about the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars As a kid. I mostly grew up with the Dave Filoni one. And even though I still prefer that one, the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars is a gem on its own and deserves recognition. I'm so glad I went back and watched it. It has unbelievable action scenes and amazing choreography. Not to mention there isn't much talking in it in general and most of it is just visual storytelling. It's literally Samurai Jack and Star Wars two of my favourite things mixed together and I love it! As for Camp Lazlo, that's also another great Cartoon Network show, and one of my favorites. Pretty underrated too. It's sad no one ever talks about it.
Agreed. I even went out of my way to but Genndy's Clone Wars Volume 1 DVD, because I love Genndy Tartakovsky's work. He is one of the people who made my childhood awesome, when he made Dexter's Laboratory and my personal favorite animated show Samurai Jack. :D

I would call Teen Titans Go just subpar as well...but then they did the infuriating episode that basically says "Fans of the original show don't hate us because our sense of humour is terrible, they hate us because they're stubborn manbabies who only like serious shows instead of us! Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends just so happens to be one of my top three FAVORITE animated television series. This is mostly because of Mac, who has the actual child voice of Sean Marquette (okay, some may argue that age 16 is a little old for a child actor, but I think it counts.). He is perfectly cute, and that made me more sympathetic when he was told to let Blooregard go. Every time Mac shows up on-screen, all I want is to see more of him. He makes me that happy. And although I am more interested in traditionally drawn animation, I do like flash animation a little bit for still being 2D. In fact, I think the animation was actually a deciding factor for whether I found Mac cute. And yes, I also like the other characters on the show, even Blooregard. Also, because this project starts with a movie, I can try to make connections between the show and the movie, which makes the show all the more fascinating. But if I must take some time to talk about the other television projects in this lookback, I shall admit I also liked Camp Lazlo while it was on the channel. Lazlo was a little cute as well, and I personally would rather watch this project than Rocko's Modern Life. And I have said in previous comments that Star Wars The Clone Wars is my favorite animation project from Genndy Tartakovsky. Back when I was a Star Wars fan, I watched this project multiple times, and it just happens to be a video game about the Clone Wars that started my Star Wars fandom in the first place. But as for Teen Titans, to be honest, I normally got bored with the original Teen Titans. I may have been willing to watch full episodes, but I think that was only because of my brothers. Teen Titans never appealed to me personally. Believe it or not, the time I started appreciating the Teen Titans was actually because I enjoyed some episodes of Teen Titans Go! That's right, I actually enjoyed some episodes of Teen Titans Go! That means I am also tolerant of this reeboot, just as I am with the Powerpuff Girls reboot. In fact, I actually laughed at Animat's ENOUGH! reaction, not because I was amused, but because I actually agreed with him. Having a hatred of Teen Titans Go is no excuse for ignoring the project's place in Cartoon Network's history, or the fact that there are people who like it all the same. One other Cartoon Network project I like from around this time was Robotboy. That show is #5 on my list of my favorite animated television series. This is mostly because of Tommy Turnbull, but I think I know why Animat did not put that show in his lookback. He could not find enough facts about it, could he?

Agreed as maybe the reason why people aren't watching you cartoon network is because you show teen titans go like it's the shit, "sorry for the dirty language by the way", and barely promote anything else.
I loved the original Teen Titans as a kid, even if I didn't watch it all the way through. But, and this is going to sound surprising to some, I've not seen a single episode of TTG. This is mostly because I've been hearing about it through many people's reviews, and having experienced some of the episodes myself through those reviews, it was enough to keep me away from the show. Not as someone who would make a video in a fit of rage and complain about it, but as someone who is disappointed in how much TTG misses the mark of the original. And I understand that it's not a fair judgement to decide not to watch something just because of a review or your initial thoughts based on a few clips, and it's understanding the unfairness of it that allowed me to change my mind on Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, Gumball, and more. Heck, My Little Pony took it a step further and helped me understand that you can enjoy something even if it's originally intended for the opposite sex. But those are shows I was able to come around on because the quality was good. There isn't much quality to be found in TTG. Aside from the smooth animation and the original cast still being good at their roles, it's hard for me to come around and enjoy this show when the stories are filled with so many missteps that make it a hollow shell of what it once was. Does this make me a fanboy hater? Maybe to some, but as long as I try to look at it all rationally, I'll at least keep myself away from being someone like the Szechuan Sauce guy. And now that I'm done with my novel, I mean comment, Camp Lazlo was a lot of fun.
You clearly haven’t looked at it rationally lmao. Teen Titans Go actually nails what it’s trying to accomplish which is essentially a parody of the original. Is it as good? Hell no. But it’s a solid and sometimes hilarious show that isn’t meant to be taken seriously. I’d rather have a reboot or sequel series to the original but to say that Teen Titans Go missed the mark and so on shows you have no idea what the point in the show was and you watched biased people complaining about the show.
Since you did poke a mention at the 2008 Clone Wars series here, I hope this means you don't overlook the Secret Saturdays in a later look given that series aired the same night as the Clone Wars & nobody really realizes it exists. When I was younger, I wanted to be a cryptozoologist when I grew up so when that show came out, I was super excited but Cartoon Network put a lot of the attention onto the Clone Wars so nobody really noticed the Secret Saturdays, having it fall into obscurity. I've been waiting for someone to bring it up in a review or something so that people would look it up & new fans to the series can be made. I have the first part of season one on DVD, played it at a party once, nobody had ever even heard of it & they enjoyed it even though they pretty much smack the answers to the somehow big mystery in your face in the first couple episodes, it's no surprise really but the journey is great. Makes me happy to see more traction for Camp Lazlo, when this show was running, I didn't know a single person who watched it so I thought I was the only one. Now I find a lot more people watched the show growing up & I wasn't alone, it was actually a lot more popular than I thought it was. One thing though, I remember in the beginning of the series, it was Scout Master Lupis but everyone called him Lumpis & he had to correct them but later in the series, it just stayed Lumpis & I remember watching later on & was confused that he didn't correct them. Maybe I was remembering the beginning of the series wrong & I need to rewatch it since I saw the first few episodes back when the series was still pretty new, I caught it when it aired & watched a few times on reruns but never revisited it as an adult. I totally should.

Fosters home is a legendary show I grew up with that and I still watch it to this day and im 24 so this show really stuck with me and camp lazlo is another show I still watch to this day I'm a major fan of animation but mostly stuff I grew up on and cartoons from the 40s to about 2009 not new shit

Foster's was amazing since it was part of my childhood and I love it so much as it's one of my favorite CN Shows that was made by them along with Codename: Kids Next Doors, Chowder, and a few others. I do like Teen Titans and Camp Lazlo too. They were really good since they were also part of my childhood. Now for Part 4, I expect you talk about Ben 10, Chowder(One of the shows that I hoped earlier along with KND and Foster's which both you talked about), maybe CN Real lol, the Cartoonstitute(Not a show, but it was like What A Cartoon), Adventure Time obviously, and Regular Show. If CN Real does get mentioned, good luck dude lol.
Club Dog Are you sure there's enough history and info? Because Flapjack isn't really mentioned a lot on YT or in this era. In fact, did popular cartoon reviewers like Pan-Pizza or MarsReviews ever mention it in their videos? Also a couple people weren't a fan of it and did it really do anything important to CN? One interesting fact though about the show is that many people who worked on the show would create many big shows including Adventure Time(Pendleton Ward), Gravity Falls(Alex Hirach), Regular Show(J. G. Quintel), and Over The Garden Wall(Patrick McHale). But back to my point, most people remember Chowder more fondly than Flapjack because of it's episodes and it breaking the fourth wall many times. But even if he doesn't talk about Flapjack, he'll probably still mention it like he did with Whatever Happened To... Robot Jones?.

I honestly hate the adult fans bitching about Teen Titans Go, because the show wasn't meant for them yet they act like it is....When it was meant for the current generation...Like I grew up watching the show and I still really like it, but everyone else compains with this attitude as if the show was meant to please the fans that were GROWN ADULTS when it aired.
I cant believe Camp Lazlo started in 2005 i thought it was made around 2007. Also we all know at some point Animat is going to talk about CN real the lowest point of Cartoon Network.
Personally, I love all these shows. But one big complaint I have with Foster home for imaginary friends is Bloo. He is so selfish and mean to everyone, even to friend Mac. He was ok in the first season but as show would progress he gets so bad that I wish Mac would’ve left him. And even with that I doubt he’ll be upset. Now I get what the creator wanted to do with him by making the conflict in most episodes, but not to the point of making him so hateable that even Rigby from regular show looks like a saint compared to him. But other than that it’s a great show.
Chill Player 123 It just didn't make sense for him to treat everyone so poorly, including his own best friend, when no one other major character acts that way. There was Mac's older brother, but he was written to be the stereotypical bully who picks on his younger brother. As strict as Mr. Harrimen was, he at least treated everyone with respect. That's why I consider him a rotten apple. He could be funny at times, yes, but he was far from a likeable character, unlike everyone else. He just always acted obnoxious, rude and selfish for no other reason but for the sake of doing so.
Crono Sapien Once again, he didn't really do that. The reason why he's likeable is because he has his charm. He didn't treat people poorly, he was who he was. Mac's bro is funny for his moments even if he's the bully that picks on Mac. Bloo was much different than others was because of the first episode. He can be enjoyed because he has his own sense. He's not obnoxious, rude or selfish. He is a imaginary friend by Mac. What was actually bad and a rotten apple that's not Bloo is Bendy for obvious reasons. Just watch his episode and you'll see why Bloo isn't terrible at all.

I loved the original Teen Titans as a kid, even if I didn't watch it all the way through. But, and this is going to sound surprising to some, I've not seen a single episode of TTG. This is mostly because I've been hearing about it through many people's reviews, and having experienced some of the episodes myself through those reviews, it was enough to keep me away from the show. Not as someone who would make a video in a fit of rage and complain about it, but as someone who is disappointed in how much TTG misses the mark of the original. And I understand that it's not a fair judgement to decide not to watch something just because of a review or your initial thoughts based on a few clips, and it's understanding the unfairness of it that allowed me to change my mind on Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, Gumball, and more. Heck, My Little Pony took it a step further and helped me understand that you can enjoy something even if it's originally intended for the opposite sex. But those are shows I was able to come around on because the quality was good. There isn't much quality to be found in TTG. Aside from the smooth animation and the original cast still being good at their roles, it's hard for me to come around and enjoy this show when the stories are filled with so many missteps that make it a hollow shell of what it once was. Does this make me a fanboy hater? Maybe to some, but as long as I try to look at it all rationally, I'll at least keep myself away from being someone like the Szechuan Sauce guy.
And now that I'm done with my novel, I mean comment, Camp Lazlo was a lot of fun.

You clearly haven’t looked at it rationally lmao. Teen Titans Go actually nails what it’s trying to accomplish which is essentially a parody of the original. Is it as good? Hell no. But it’s a solid and sometimes hilarious show that isn’t meant to be taken seriously. I’d rather have a reboot or sequel series to the original but to say that Teen Titans Go missed the mark and so on shows you have no idea what the point in the show was and you watched biased people complaining about the show.
Since you did poke a mention at the 2008 Clone Wars series here, I hope this means you don't overlook the Secret Saturdays in a later look given that series aired the same night as the Clone Wars & nobody really realizes it exists. When I was younger, I wanted to be a cryptozoologist when I grew up so when that show came out, I was super excited but Cartoon Network put a lot of the attention onto the Clone Wars so nobody really noticed the Secret Saturdays, having it fall into obscurity. I've been waiting for someone to bring it up in a review or something so that people would look it up & new fans to the series can be made. I have the first part of season one on DVD, played it at a party once, nobody had ever even heard of it & they enjoyed it even though they pretty much smack the answers to the somehow big mystery in your face in the first couple episodes, it's no surprise really but the journey is great.
Makes me happy to see more traction for Camp Lazlo, when this show was running, I didn't know a single person who watched it so I thought I was the only one. Now I find a lot more people watched the show growing up & I wasn't alone, it was actually a lot more popular than I thought it was. One thing though, I remember in the beginning of the series, it was Scout Master Lupis but everyone called him Lumpis & he had to correct them but later in the series, it just stayed Lumpis & I remember watching later on & was confused that he didn't correct them. Maybe I was remembering the beginning of the series wrong & I need to rewatch it since I saw the first few episodes back when the series was still pretty new, I caught it when it aired & watched a few times on reruns but never revisited it as an adult. I totally should.

Fosters home is a legendary show I grew up with that and I still watch it to this day and im 24 so this show really stuck with me and camp lazlo is another show I still watch to this day I'm a major fan of animation but mostly stuff I grew up on and cartoons from the 40s to about 2009 not new shit

I've been obsessed with camp lazlo twice; once when i was 8, now at 14.
Foster's was amazing since it was part of my childhood and I love it so much as it's one of my favorite CN Shows that was made by them along with Codename: Kids Next Doors, Chowder, and a few others. I do like Teen Titans and Camp Lazlo too. They were really good since they were also part of my childhood. Now for Part 4, I expect you talk about Ben 10, Chowder(One of the shows that I hoped earlier along with KND and Foster's which both you talked about), maybe CN Real lol, the Cartoonstitute(Not a show, but it was like What A Cartoon), Adventure Time obviously, and Regular Show. If CN Real does get mentioned, good luck dude lol.

Club Dog Are you sure there's enough history and info? Because Flapjack isn't really mentioned a lot on YT or in this era. In fact, did popular cartoon reviewers like Pan-Pizza or MarsReviews ever mention it in their videos? Also a couple people weren't a fan of it and did it really do anything important to CN? One interesting fact though about the show is that many people who worked on the show would create many big shows including Adventure Time(Pendleton Ward), Gravity Falls(Alex Hirach), Regular Show(J. G. Quintel), and Over The Garden Wall(Patrick McHale). But back to my point, most people remember Chowder more fondly than Flapjack because of it's episodes and it breaking the fourth wall many times. But even if he doesn't talk about Flapjack, he'll probably still mention it like he did with Whatever Happened To... Robot Jones?.

I cant believe Camp Lazlo started in 2005 i thought it was made around 2007. Also we all know at some point Animat is going to talk about CN real the lowest point of Cartoon Network.
Personally, I love all these shows. But one big complaint I have with Foster home for imaginary friends is Bloo. He is so selfish and mean to everyone, even to friend Mac. He was ok in the first season but as show would progress he gets so bad that I wish Mac would’ve left him. And even with that I doubt he’ll be upset. Now I get what the creator wanted to do with him by making the conflict in most episodes, but not to the point of making him so hateable that even Rigby from regular show looks like a saint compared to him. But other than that it’s a great show.

Chill Player 123 It just didn't make sense for him to treat everyone so poorly, including his own best friend, when no one other major character acts that way. There was Mac's older brother, but he was written to be the stereotypical bully who picks on his younger brother. As strict as Mr. Harrimen was, he at least treated everyone with respect. That's why I consider him a rotten apple. He could be funny at times, yes, but he was far from a likeable character, unlike everyone else. He just always acted obnoxious, rude and selfish for no other reason but for the sake of doing so.

He's not obnoxious, rude or selfish. He is a imaginary friend by Mac. What was actually bad and a rotten apple that's not Bloo is Bendy for obvious reasons. Just watch his episode and you'll see why Bloo isn't terrible at all.

I will confess, admittedly I myself hated TTG for minor reasons, but eventually the more I see it,the more I see it's true colours , like I see its trying to be like the superheroes own equivalent of Family guy, it wants to poke fun on itself, and its own culture and i understandingly respect that.
