This was amazing. Courage, The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy, and Kids Next Door are also amazing CN Shows. KND is one of my favorite CN Shows. So creative and fun. I wish CN pick up Galactic Kids Next Door someday. Anyway, can't wait for hopefully Foster's in the next Part, that's the other CN Show I hope you cover alongside Chowder & KND(Which got covered in this Part). Also the Grim & KND crossover was great.
Two minor trivia notes here: 1. The reason Lionel quit wasn't so much due to a disagreement with the show staff, more to do with the fact that he was getting much sicker by the middle of the third season. So, he retired before he died back in 2003. Stock voice clips of him would still be there every now and again, but only to keep with the spirit of the show. 2. Don't feel too bad for KND just yet; there've been teasers of a new series/movie based on the interplanetary aspect of the series floating around since 2012 at the earliest. Hell, they even got those like Lauren Tom, Candi Milo and Dee Bradley Baker to reprise their roles in a teaser clip back in 2013. Whether or not it's gonna happen anytime soon is still up in the air; but hey, if they can bring back Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans and Samurai Jack (for better or worse with those first two), then KND has just as much a shot as anyone.
Lizzie, Numbah 1's wannabe girlfriend that occasionally saved KND's tuchus from the Delightful Children among other threats. Most notably, her best contribution is an episode in one of the later seasons, where Lizzie crashes into a cake monster controlled by the Delightful Children.
You're correct; got her mixed up with a one-off character named Willard, HE was voiced by Tara. My mistake, though it's fair to point out that after a while some voices begin to merge with others if you haven't watched a show in a while.
If I had to say any complaints with Grim Adventures (at least with the last 3 seasons), it would be the mentions of other CN shows and 4th wall jokes. Not all of them, ‘cause things like drug-addicts Yogi & Boo-Boo, Hill-Billy, Maxwell Adams himself disappearing after his time hourglass breaks and R Lee Ermey randomly swapping an action sequence, those are hilarious. It’s probably that the first season, as well as Grim & Evil, overall didn’t have many of them and was really grounded in its universe, that suddenly having all the “we’re a TV show” just felt… totally different. It’s not like it could’ve gone one episode without breaking and all the “animation sucks” jokes feels like they don’t believe they’re a successful show (stop beating yourself down). As for the CN jokes, same thing, especially when they’re just split-second cameos. There’s a right way and wrong way to have that happen (like the CN City era is separate). The KND crossover was good, but was it necessary to have Hoss run over HB characters when talking to Irwin, Scooby appear at the keeper of the Reaper trial, a Fosters parody ending with an explosion and the cast turn into the Powerpuff Girls after Mandy smiles? Even the Evil-Con Carnage stuff can be contradictory! Skar is a regular and the others appear time to time (which I’m OK with), but then the show itself is seen several times on the TVs! Doesn't diminish the ENTIRE show, just a personal complaint of mine.
I broke into my happy dance when I found out the KND was gonna re run on boomerang for a while in 2016, but then it stopped airing because Cartoon Network executives lost interest, but I will always know those shows were good when they were good. I'll always miss them. And I'll always love them.
The funny thing is that it was after this video (followed by watching the Nostalgia Critic Avatar videos again) where I was finally convinced to watch Avatar.

To be 100% honest, I loved Codename: Kids Next Door so much, I prayed that it was real, and I. Cried when I turned 13 because that meant I was a teen and wouldn't be allowed in the Kids Next Door.

Dang, I remember growing up with all these amazing shows and loving them. Courage legit gave me nightmares. Well, save for Samurai Jack. I didn't really watch it much since it didn't interest me, which makes sense since even before it was on Adult Swim, the show was made for older audiences. But watching Season 5 definitely rekindled my love for the show, and I can't wait to watch the rest of it. Season 5 was definitely great, and having it be more violent was definitely a nice added touch. The only downside was how short it was: it definitely need more episodes, because it's microscopic length severely hurt the character of Ashi, who I really liked. But because of how short the show was, not only did her character development feel incredibly rushed, but her relationship with Jack felt forced and tacked on.
You mean Sector V, not Sector 5, right? I get the mix up, Numbuh 5 is the best character in the series after all. Cree Summer was so sweet when I talked to her about Codename Kids Next Door, although I think she said she likes Cree more because being evil is fun. Also, the character is named after her so it makes sense but Numbuh 5 is still my favorite, I even share a name with her, Abby.
I believe you left out that there was a Kickstarter to make another season for KND back in around 2012-ish, but the campaign didn't get enough attention and any progress for a season was cancelled.

KND, Samurai Jack, Steven Universe, EE&E... I really can't pick which one had the art style I hated the most. Though Nickelodeon had a larger amount of significantly uglier shows in the 90s.

I remember voting for those shows when I was a kid during the "big pick weekend" event. I think I remembered voting for my freaky family. We didn't have internet so we had to dial the 800 number to vote.

Dang, I remember growing up with all these amazing shows and loving them. Courage legit gave me nightmares.
Well, save for Samurai Jack. I didn't really watch it much since it didn't interest me, which makes sense since even before it was on Adult Swim, the show was made for older audiences. But watching Season 5 definitely rekindled my love for the show, and I can't wait to watch the rest of it. Season 5 was definitely great, and having it be more violent was definitely a nice added touch. The only downside was how short it was: it definitely need more episodes, because it's microscopic length severely hurt the character of Ashi, who I really liked. But because of how short the show was, not only did her character development feel incredibly rushed, but her relationship with Jack felt forced and tacked on.
You mean Sector V, not Sector 5, right? I get the mix up, Numbuh 5 is the best character in the series after all. Cree Summer was so sweet when I talked to her about Codename Kids Next Door, although I think she said she likes Cree more because being evil is fun. Also, the character is named after her so it makes sense but Numbuh 5 is still my favorite, I even share a name with her, Abby.

I think I might've seen KND: INTERVIEWS. That appeared to be live action.
I believe you left out that there was a Kickstarter to make another season for KND back in around 2012-ish, but the campaign didn't get enough attention and any progress for a season was cancelled.
