I have a 2011 Charger and the whole center console under the arm and the screen weren't working so I changed the top 20A yellow fuse and the blue 15 radio panel fuses all in the trunk, then I disconnected my battery for 30 min and it all works normal, I'm sure you saved me at least $300 if not more, Thank You very much, hope this comment helps someone else

Wife took her charger in for window tint. When she got it back the screen wasnt working. I had just got home and was confronted with a woman that wanted revenge on the window tint guy. I googled the problem that led me here. Watched the video ( very well done and informative). Went out to the car, pulled the fuse. Waited. Replaced it. Still no screen. Light bulb above my head turned on. Pushed the on/off button on the volume control. Screen came on as normal. Went back inside, made up a story of how I "fixed" everything. If I told her the radio was just turned off, I wouldn't get any bragging rights about what a talented guy I am. Gentlemen... know your limits.

From one challenger owner to another, thank you! I ended up pulling the one you pulled last, first and it didn’t work. Pulled the one for radio and waited 20 seconds and it was good. Gonna run by an auto store and get some spare fuses to carry. My screen literally stopped working after I took it to the dealership but it would illuminate to show changing the temp or changing the temp power.
Thanks for posting the video. I did this on a 2012 Dodge Charger and it worked! I've been driving without AC or a radio for 5 months. This problem started for me when the dealer replaced an oil cooler sensor. 3 days later the AC stop blowing and the touch screen wouldn't come on. When I brought it back to the dealer they claimed no responsibility and told me I needed a new touchscreen and that they can't even get the part and that I would have to buy a used one off of eBay!

Thanks for this my screen all of a sudden stopped working went ahead pulled the fuse for 20 seconds replaced it and it was fixed now I know what to do if it happens again

What are the chances this is accurate to a 2005 dodge Durango .. l get music can change channels but my screen is out completely any suggestions for something that old ?
My Ram has been doing this one and off since I bought it 4 years ago. I never did it till the dealer did an update. It was at the dealer for about 2 weeks, after they replaced the unit 3 times and they found a "loose" wire on the connection. Well it seem to have fixed it, but it all of a sudden showed back up today. Mine is black screen, and it will come back on, but sometimes its 2 minutes sometimes its 60 minutes.

I bought a new Durango back in 2011 when it got redesigned. Worst car I've ever owned! QC issues galore! Body parts and panels not aligning or cracking. Several no starts and never have I taken a car to the dealer so many times. Got rid of it as soon as I could for a Honda. Been looking at new Challengers but looks like nothing has changed so not thanks. No wonder there are so many 2020s still left on the lots!

I have a question did you take it to the dealer and if you did did they replace the hole unit or radio or did they just reset the fuse or use the obd to reset it
Already tried taking it to b the dealership....it was pointless because it wasn't acting up in front of them so they couldn't diagnose anything but of course the screen started acting retarded afterwards
@@erikmoya1156 I never took it to the dealer people are having issues with 1320s getting Scatpack radio programming and screwing up Drag mode
@@Destroyer1320 They gave me a new radio and it came back as a regular RT not with no drag mode and I was like WTF so I busted a you turn and told them this is the wrong radio so they supposedly ordered another and still didn’t work I think they lied 🤥 about it and then they had to flash it and download it back into the new radio and then thank God it’s still working till this day!

People have had to have their radios replaced? Mine started doing this today, and the last time it did this all I had to do is shut down and start up again and all was well.
Nothing I did worked today, but the backup camera worked, and certain functions worked, but I couldn’t get media to play etc. Guess it’s time to pull a fuse. Thanks for the video.
Yes try the fuse first and if you have a 1320 challenger do not let them replace the radio! They always put the wrong one in from what I hear and it causes tons of issues. Be sure to click sub it helps huge.

When you say you pulled #37 then #38. You replaced them? And with what? With extra 20A fuse?
The fuses where still good so I just put them back. Pull them to reset the system.

I hate to say this but if the reset doesn't work then take it to the dealer.
Mine got stuck on a channel wouldn’t do nothing. Then started working again.
Now mine is stuck all black can’t do anything even the back up cam won’t come on. Just black in my 19 ram Laramie I’m gonna take mine to the dealership.
But did it happen again. I'm having a issues with my 2019 ram
I had it happen twice due to direct sun on the radio housing, have not had it happen in over a year
So it was fuse 38? I wonder if a software update is needed?
So far, I have not had that issue, but I will keep it in mind with fuse 38.

Fuse 38 didn’t work for me, it was fuse 37 that corrected the issue. Just in case you do have any issues
I don’t see fuse 37/38 mines in that area says 20 is that the right fuses
Are you in the trunk fuse box?
2019 Challeneger… Screen just cut off wont cut back on.. low popping noise through my speakers, so I took out the fuse and the popping stopped… Tried to do the reset by pressing the knobs, unhooked the battery and still nothing… fuse is not blown and even bought a new fuse… Any idea?? Hopefully I dont have to replace it because they’re talking $2300
It sounds like there maybe a short somewhere. I would have an audio shop check it out.
If u ended up here because your Jeep gladiator is doing the same thing.
Remove the fuse number 97 and reinstall it back .
Have you had any problems with it since, I know it’s been a while, but I’m beginning to have problems with my system and it’s been out for 2 months and I can’t control anything. The only thing that works is the back up camera and the screen will turn on and will only show the logo then shut off again. Where I got my car wasnt from the jeep dealership so I’m not sure if they can help me or not and if I go to a jeep dealership they will probably charge me up the ass for it cuz I won’t have a warranty on anything. I’m really hoping I can fix it I just got this car 😭

Fixed it by pressing and hold both, power down and menu buttons for 20 seconds.
Well my 1320 did the same thing. I'm just curious on how we get out performance pages and stuff back. Is it just an update we have to do?

@@justincogdill7335 About 6 hrs I went into work and when I came out to drive home it was good. If your having a delay, try unhooking the battery for a bit then connecting it again.
This is why TH-cam is a blessing, I would've went to Chrysler and they would've charged me 200 dollars

I found nothing on the internet when it happened to me, had to share what I figured out, glad to help.
I'm having the exact same issue with my jeep grand cherokee 2014 , but can't locate the fuse for the radio or media hub. It's not in the fuse box.
Look for secondary fuse box. Maybe under the dash or open drivers door and look for a panel at the end of the dash.
@@Destroyer1320 thanks you for the help , I'll look into that. Normally I have to disconnect the negative battery terminal and the screen comes back on. Hopefully the fuse is labeled.
The monitor does not work on dodge durango 2014. The screen is black and the Dodge logo is flashing. Could it be because of the fuse? The master said that it had deteriorated and needed to be changed.

We have 2015 RT, only 50,000 miles and our screen went black 3 months ago. We've tried everything and nothing has worked. Backup camera works, radio plays, no buttons on the screen works at all. We have to rely on the display on the driver dash display to see our channels for the radio. Volume, heat/ cool buttons up/down, etc work but its a guessing game. The sport mode will not work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Weve done the battery, fuse pull, etc.. just out of options unless we have it replaced. We can't understand why a recall hasn't been issued yet with all the problems we have seen ppl have had with the radio screens. This is bull crap!!

There is a recall now check the FCA website. Just enter your VIN

I bought new sensors to replace the old ones and unfortunately it still doesn’t work. Music works and touch buttons work but it still has a black screen. Looks like I’ll have to make that trip to the dealer smh

Is it the blue fuse???
It is the Yellow 20Amp fuse to the right of the blue 15Amp fuse.
It also works on the 2021 R/T 392 scat

In the trunk fuse box
i just cleaned my touch screen and outhit back in to it not working, it’s like a grey not completely off sometimes or others it turns white for a little then shuts off, it’s booted up normally before but then the touch wasn’t working with it, i know i didn’t damage anything but i have no idea how to fix, any tips?
Sounds like the screen itself is going out.
@@Destroyer1320 the issue was the blue cable with the brown tape was tucked and zip tied under either in the area behind the dash and when it came out i never saw it to put it back in, all good now though 😂

You shouldn't have to pull a fuse to make a major component of your vehicle work in a $50,000.00 car. Especially one that is as new as this one.

Nothing seems to be working me me. Pulled the fuses and the negative terminal cable and still black screen. Really don't want to take it to the dealer and have then keep it for who knows how long.
Strange, did you try fully diconnecting the battery and leave it for 24hrs for full bleed down?

Thanks very much for this video! 2023 Challenger GT and I've had this happen 3X since delivery in October - this fuse trick has gotten me back up and running each and every time. Has anyone had any luck discovering the cause/permanently fixing this either themselves or via the dealer? SO GLAD to have a fix and that it's not more serious, but wow is it annoying (and I have a trunk liner that needs removed each time to get to the fuse box lol).
They have to change the media module.....

I took my fuse 20 out but my screen didn’t work its just showing dodge logo on screen again and again what should i do?
Be sure to let the fuse sit unplugged for 2 minutes. Once you put it back in let the car power up and update. It may take driving it for a few minutes around town to come fully back.

I was hoping it wasn't in the trunk I have a 300 lb sound system that I can't remove by myself and my Android auto on my Bluetooth and my Sirius XM stopped working all at the same time so I want to reset it the instructions Dodge gave me to reset didn't work so I just want to pull a fuse instead of pulling the whole battery was hoping it would be in the engine compartment
