In our Kia Optima, the radio is still functional…but the screen remains completely black. I can still change the station, but can’t see anything for the radio or backup camera. Was this the case for you as well? If so I guess I’ll just change the fuse and hope this does the trick.
Unfortunately I don’t think the fuse is the issue in that scenario but i guess it would never hurt trying. I think it would be the device itself maybe has a loose display cable or something. It wouldn’t hurt reaching out to Kia and seeing if they could fix it for you. If you’re nice enough they might do it for reduced cost or free
My kia optima has the same problem, with the weather temp being so hot the display is black and can't see anything but once the car is cool enough in the inside the display starts showing up untill it gets to the original display 🤷♀️
