Tony Iommi is reissuing his solo albums “fused” and “the 1996 depp sessions” on CD and vinyl on October 4th (I know it’s not technically new but something many viewers I’m sure will want to check out).

To be clear; I dont burn much cds anymore and focus 99% on buying them cuz nothing can beat the original releases but its a nostalgic way to burn a cd with the songs of your desire and order and also to choose which songs cuz its also a matter of space on the disc (if u not use mp3disc)🙂also might this make for a video about what different type of ways you have used to enjoy music through the years (tapes,cds,ipod etc) and I bet alot of ur viewers are just as nostalgic to hear about that. I like the album a lot but for the most part it’s missing the classic harmonies like they did in the 70’s. The album has more of a Melodic Rock AOR style album.
Twisted Sister - Stay Hungry & Ratt - Out of the Cellar came out in 1984 - not 1983. And - I was there. I was 14 in 1984 & I remember both albums coming out as well as their videos getting regular air play on MTV
Yeah QUEEN pulled the trick of sticking the vinyl in the box which I HATE, not the idea of vinyl because I buy more vinyl now because CD's just seem to not be creative with packaging at all for their price, and I get it vinyl CAN be pricey (Sorry Taylor and Pearl Jam you dont need to charge 50 for vinyl when I get indie artists for a signed 25 dollar deal) BUT queen did the Alan Parsons thing and stuck the vinyl in the box which inflates the price BUT to be honest all queens stuff is WAY WAY overpriced. That Miracle box was cool but please now. The Foreigner cd, to be honest that one song is the best thing they have done/not done since the 70s. Tom petty looks interesting, Tears for Fears for sure especially live because they rework some classics big time so if you are wanting the recordings skip it is my advice. I am looking forward to some November stuff getting some hints about RSD so Im holding off on a lot now, Motley Crue I just cant anymore, not a big fan but they just don;'t interest me for the most part. The COLDPLAY is their final record, that is what they said (or for non fans PROMISED) lol
I think the Foreigner song is pretty subpar and should have been left in the vaults. Not the time to put it out when you’re celebrating the greatest of the band and then there is that song as the best they can do? IDK…it felt very weak and not at all up to the standards of even the current line-up much less the original era of the band. Of course that doesn’t mean I’m not buying it 😂👍
@@BrendonSnyder I think foreigner is a done deal at this point though they tour and play with no members it’s not the same band by any means. I think they found something with Lou because he really is the band and I understand it’s Mick but vocally it’s always his similar to Steve Perry though journey does good records they get on the road and no one wants to hear anything but hits similar to Styx who do great records and play one or two new songs I don’t get it
Sure! I’ll be excited until I get it, the newness wears off and it disappoints me for not sounding like their classic stuff. But I love Vince’s vocals so I will still listen to it.

No, I just chose not to include it since the album was new last year. To issue a deluxe edition one year later baffles me and screams cash grab. I’m disappointed by the band.
Looking forward to RATT I hope the new song Reach for the sky is a good one! Weird that their other album is called that but they never released the song with same title🤔
Yeah it happens more than you think. They love the song at the time but then rule it out later for one reason or another but still love it as a title. I love getting the song later and trying to hear why it was originally left off. Interesting that the song had been around since the Out Of The Cellar Days.

I have found you are not a true metal head. & your tastes lean toward more commercial pop. it is unforgivable to me in your new October 2024 releases: you did not mention to A list releases in new 1349 album & opeth album!!!!!!!! I listen to all styles of metal: but, want thier most rocking material. Ps. BLU RAY VIDEO of concerts is great. & blu ray audiophile albums is far superior to cds. I buy bundles from band camp & Amazon; where get the physical & digital both. Own# pay artist# ps. I have seen crue dead center front row several times. Met & spoke to John 5 several times. & prefer when put, out albums & not singles. Last saints of Los Angeles.
Eugene, I never said I’m the be all end all of new releases. The ones I cover are bands I listen to for the most part. I don’t cover bands and artists I’m not familiar with. It’s that simple. I also don’t call myself a “metal head”. I listen to all kinds of music, which includes Metal, but not “commercial pop”, not sure where you got that from. How about you listen more, don’t make up stuff, and know your genres better before you decide to criticize. 👍
Also a bit disappointed that Opeth isn’t mentioned. I would imagine a significant overlap of your subscribers love them. Not sure if you’ve given them a go? I know you don’t like growling…maybe test their progressive rock records…they are fantastic!

The Sweet album is killer. It loses a bit of steam towards the end but an outstanding effort overall.

No I don’t think the band has gotten the rights back. They have not been part of any of the recent boxset reissues either.
Maybe the date has changed, but I saw that the 11th is/was ? the release date for the new one from the great Opeth...???
It’s been delayed due to manufacturing issues. I think the new date is late Nov/ early Dec
