We swim regularly every morning in the sea city of mersin. We feel the same , great for the back , we douche on the park , wear dry clothes and go home after , only 2 minutes walk. From beach to apartment.
I was in a comment section from a clip in Seinfeld on Facebook and apparently it's actually "in" to hate on this show. Pretty much just like how people hate on Nickelback. It's so ridiculous..

Not that the net effect would be much better, but considering where they live, why wouldn't he swim the Hudson? Or even the Harlem River? It doesn't make much sense for him to venture all the way down to the Queensboro. That way he could swim a lap, get stinky and save the commute.
After reading this comment, I have Elaine’s facial expression after Puddy explained he couldnt understand why people dont have dip for dinner.

Making Elaine laugh out loud at the serious piano recital and not taking responsibility for it was not helpful 😂. Telling the high school woman that George was a marine biologist which lead to a whole heap of lies for George to keep up with. I know in his head he was helping. Then there was not wanting to go home at night incase the strangler was out and about in downtown New York, so he kept seeing a woman he couldn't stand, including a weekend away with her. When Elaine became editor of the caterlogue and got prideful he knocked her right off her high horse by making sure her insecurities and 'doofus' status came back. She hit that low pretty quickly.
Nodding yes to the low talker, not understanding what he was commiting too and then making fun of the puffy shirt on live tv, loosing the woman future sales. Let's not forget Baboo, Jerry had no expert knowledge to give the advice he did and cost Baboo his business. Then there was the crest blazer he wore at the show,he accused the performers of stealing it, didn't trust that his date would get it back when she said she would , took matters in his own hands and gave up the chance to be 'like the Gatsby's"😂 Pretending to be someone else (Dillan Murphy) with George to get a free limo ride and ending up as Arian Union supporters. Buying fake tip calculaters for his dad's friends because he didn't want to admit how much he had really spent. Everyone blamed his dad Morty. Maybe, just maybe Jerry really is Reckless and indifferent.😅

What ended up happening to the mattress? These shorts end before the full story is told.
While trapped underneath the smelly mattress, her back sprained from the fall, Elaine called Jerry to get him to come over and help her, which he did. The storyline ended there (albeit with a reveal that Elaine is now also swimming in the East River to make her back feel better.)
Since the Lumbar Yard wouldn’t pick up the mattress, Jerry and Elaine must’ve either driven it directly to the Lumbar Yard or just thrown it in the nearest dumpster.

I think that is the second episode where something had a bad smell. First it was the valet who stunk up the car and now Kramer who stunk up the mattress. Both are ridiculous and I love Seinfeld but those two episodes are not my favorite. They’re ridiculous!

I always hated this show but as a NYr I never said anything. I even met Seinfeld and tbh he was a jerk. Given I worked for the cable company and we tore his yard up burying cable. Still the guy was extremely rude and just a jerk.
