Welcome to my Channel! My name is Roisin and I am a Paper Crafter Content Creator based in London!
This channel is committed to helping hobby and professional crafters master Cake Topper Design in Cricut Design Space and how to bring those creations to life. I focus on more complex Toppers such as shakers, spinners, light up, sliders etc.
Part 1 design tutorials will take you step by step through how to design a Cake Topper and will also include all relevant fonts/images numbers from Design Space, as well as links to external fonts and SVGS.
Part 2 assembly tutorials provide all supplies used, as well as general crafting tips and of course also how to put the topper you have designed together.

As mentioned in the introduction, this method holds some risks of leakage. I would suggest practicing just the water element several times, leaving it for a few days and apply light pressure to be sure you have the technique down!
I would not recommend selling or posting water shaker cake toppers due to their fragility.
In this tutorial, a step by step guide will be given to assemble this cake topper and all the materials and supplies needed. You cut on your Cricut Explore, Maker or Joy Xtra (you may need to resize on this machine)
This will give you the tip tricks and hacks, to allow you to create your own Party Decor! This Cake Topper is a mermaid theme but you could do any underwater theme 🫧

you should cut an inset of a cirle out of parchment paper and put it in the sleeve then iron it. it will b neater

@@sweetevedesigns hellooo, im trying to choose the right printer to buy to make cake toppers and party favors i know i need to print on heavy paper like 300 gsm and also glossy paper so which one would you suggest?
@@leenahadd4549I'm really not an expert on printers as I don't use them much. But I have an eco tank ET 28-26 I have printed card on it before but not as thick as that so I'm not sure 🥰

I love this topper and I am currently trying to make my own while following your tutorial however, I am completely confused about how you welded the white offset of the castle and the banner together. I have rewinded and rewatched over and over again and I still can't figure that out. I feel so silly about it too. I am new to cricut and am learning how to navigate through it. Any help with that would be great! Thank you :o)
Don't feel silly! No question is a silly one. So you need to apply an offset to both the banner and then castle and then weld these two offsets together. So find you use the shift button and select both these shapes and weld. Don't worry about the main banner and castle if that makes sense? If you are still stuck DM me on instagram and I will try show you on video 🥰

Can you use the strip with and shape cake topper
Sorry I'm not sure what you mean? As in can you use it for other shapes like a heart? You can but you may need to cut several and attach around the shape 🥰💜

Change the speed of the video in your settings
Do you have any tips for placing straight when you have the tape already on the back? I have not been able to find an easy way to set them straight.
I tend to hoover right over the top and just line up the best I can by ear. Most tapes you can pull it up and try again if it doesn't land right the first time 🥰
Do you leave all the little holes? Does it make a difference if you contour the holes out? I never know if you should just leave the cut out holes alone. lol
I leave the holes in the text that is what makes it look more intricate and delicate 🥰
Hello The font to use for the number is not coming up would you know why
I did actually spell it wrong in the description is actually Bernard MT condensed. I wonder if it was removed from design space 😢. Try Aldine it's a similar cricut font I will have a look for some others. Billion Dreams is now designs space and is the same as the billionaire one ❤️
