Dearest Evelyn, I am SO happy that you're back (for every positive reason)! I'm 54 and a former sempstress. None of us know everything, and I love to learn new things and approaches - especially from you. ♥ My tip for daunted beginners: You can sew anything on a decent machine with a straight stitch and a zig-zag stitch. Yes, pretty much anything. No need to spend thousands on a machine that does "everything". Just make sure it's a quality machine.
I’m still using my first machine. My parents got it for me in the late 80’s. For some reason my mother got tired of spending 4 hours of driving and 2 hours on the ferry to get to my house to get her machine back! There’s nothing I can’t make with it.
It’s true that you can sew almost anything with a simple machine but for people with a sewing passion, a higher performance machine makes sewing easier and much more pleasant.
@@luciatat4084 That is also true. And, over the years, my workshop has accumulated machines and equipment worth many thousands - for that exact reason. My point is that one can still create wonderful things without having to consider a possibly daunting initial investment. By all mean, grow and flourish! ♥
Same here started 2 years ago at 56 used a lot of her tutorials and now make all my clothes except for jeans and undergarments. It’s such a feel good when people Say “u made that” with awe in their voice. Never too late to learn.
I’m 70 and I picked up sewing about 10 years ago. I’m pretty good at following a pattern but fit can be a monster. I’m doing better but still need more improvement. I told myself about a month ago that I was going to really concentrate on fit. Unfortunately I had little health scare and haven’t been able to do as much as I wanted. I have to have my gallbladder removed this coming Jan 14. Since my time has been limited I’ve just been sewing some simple skirts. Hopefully once I heal it will be full steam ahead with sewing & fit. You will learn what sewing things you need & what you don’t and how to make your sewing room flow to your needs.
This is already on our 2025 goals list. We, my daughter and I, are 4 ft. 11 inches tall and petite size. We have a heck of a time finding clothes even in the "petite" section of the stores. The lengths within the dresses, in the torso, are just too long. We have to learn to sew!
I’m 4’9” with a big bust, no waist. I’m 66 years old so don’t like the new fashions out now. And yes - I HATE clothes shopping. Thank you, Evelyn for your videos
@@donnadenert2996me too, that's my push to learn to make my own clothes. Clothes shopping is a boring, fruitless, tiring, depressing chore. I got a machine in October. Been working on a 1/4 size dress (doll size). Had to do darts for the first time. 3 darts, did each probably 6 times but they look great! And then last night I did UNDERSTITCHING for the first time. Also turned out great!! Yes, I’ve been watching your other videos they’re very helpful!!! 🤗 Once I’m done I think I’d like to make this dress pattern in my size, too. But that’s what I came here to add- If you need practice, I’ve found working in 1/4 human size to be quite efficient in fabric & cost while still being rich in experience.
I’m 37 and would love to learn to sow, mostly so I can end up with something that actually suits and fits me. My mum has learnt so much from your channel, I’m sad that we don’t learn these skills in school.
I'm so grateful for the domestic science lessons we had. I learned to sew, draft an A line skirt pattern, insert a zip, sew seams, match fabric patterns....of all the things I learned at school, these have been the skills I've used most of all throughout my life. I'm sad to learn they're no longer taught.
Hi! I'm of similar age! Learning to sew has changed my life and given me freedom of choice in my clothing. I get to choose my fabric to suit my needs, in the shape, cut, and fit of my preference. I started by watching videos that explained fabric and fiber types. It helped me navigate the sea of options and decide on what to start with. ❤
So happy I found this channel. My mum was a tailor and a fiber enthusiast I guess, she loved knitting, embroidery and cross stitching. She made all my clothes and accessories when I was a child. She passed away from cancer at the age of 39. Over the past couple of years I learned by myself to do embroidery, cross stitch and crotchet (I tried knitting but it really isn't my thing) and now that I turned 39 at the end of last year I really want to learn to make clothes for myself the same way my mum did when I was young. Thank you for sharing some of your story! I love learning more about my students and their sewing journeys It sounds like you have an aptitude for crafting and will probably pick up sewing skills quickly. I hope that through this journey you feel closer to your mother by practicing the crafts she loved!
My mother always said to start by sewing for your kids. They'll outgrow your mistakes quickly. I'm 76 and I've been sewing my entire life. One of my biggest regrets is buying a computerized machine. It had over 100 stitches, and it supposedly could monogram. I never figured out that feature. About a year ago (just before Christmas) Walmart put stripped down basic versions of Brother machines on sale for $88. I bought one and fell in love with it almost immediately. The next week, those same machines were on clearance sale for $77. So I bought another one. I love both of these machines. TIP: If you have a machine without an automatic threader run a glue stick along the thread before you try to thread the needle. You can hold the thread in your palm. The glue will not make your hands or the thread messy. Clean your machine every time you change or refill the bobbin. You'd be surprised at how much can build up in such a short amount of time.
Fantastic 🎉 I’m 56 and a beginner sewist. I’m recovering from an accident, stayed 4 months in hospitals. I’m back home. I want to start sewing but I lack a guide and motivation. Thank you Evelyn ❤
This is what I have been looking for. I used to sew almost all my clothes but have, long ago, dropped that to concentrate on college and career. Long time! I have the first project in mind - duplicate my favorite pants that are so worn that I can't wear them, even around the house. I will be cutting them up for my pattern. Now for the bad news... I am currently working on a crochet project with a deadline, so I will be watching and absorbing the details to refresh my long unused skills. Thanks for that opportunity!
Welcome back to sewing! 😊 Taking the time to watch and refresh your skills is a great way to approach restarting. Best of luck finishing your crochet project-I’ll be here ready to cheer you on when you're ready to dive in! 🧵✨
In addition to thrifting bed sheets for starting fabric, look in hardware stores for painter's drop cloth. You'll find bedsheet style to undyed cotton denim in 9x12ft bundles.
Never got serious about it except for industrial things, car upholstery, etc. Man at 72, want to start sewing clothes. Bo good reason other than I want to. Mom isn't around anymore to fix my blunders. Sort of learned my new (well newer) machine and was watching your channel for a while before. But was really looking for a basics course. Looks like I will be joining your online course as soon as I clear the last few things off my list of have to do's. May not be every day for a while but that's the beauty of your course, right?, learn at my own speed, with your reasonable monthly rates!
I look forward to seeing you at Vintage Sewing School! You will be able to choose the exact courses you need for your own sewing journey, and yes, take them as your schedule allows! I wish you all the best in your learning!
It's great to have you back, Evelyn. I'm 73 and used tomes my daughters clothes. I also sewed a few things for myself but these were pretty simple and only for around the house. I'm a plodder and follow the pattern painstakingly & still have to unpick my mistakes. I too find the fitting process difficult and I'd love to become a skilled sewer. Apart from my garden and dogs I'd like to add sewing as one of my regular and pleasurable activities.
This is how I got into historical fashion! Also i discovered a passion for Japanese style clothing and have made a few garments in that style. The world is your oyster
Try looking for patterns at thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales and even the public library. I found some lovely vintage (60's) patterns at Habitat for Humanity last year. Good luck!
OMG so true, I bought my sewing machine, and it sat in its box for 6 months before I was game enough to use it. I am self-taught (with thanks to your informative videos). and I have done everything you have talked about!!! So all you viewers out there, take note - Evelyn's wisdom is priceless!!
See if you can find the user manual for your machine on-line, or an e-version of it. Getting to know your machine is one of Evelyn's ground-rule tips. It's so worth doing. Once you do, it'll give you the confidence you need to go on to create lovely things ❤. Evelyn explains 'how to' (and why) on loads of sewing topics - have a look at her library of TH-cam videos, they're excellent. Enjoy your sewing❤
I've been sewing only since last spring, and part of practicing patience for me has been learning to walk away. Sometimes I want to keep going but I'm rushing, or not in quite the right head space. A good night's sleep usually cures me, and I can return with a fresh set of eyes. And fabric choice isn't simply a skill, it's an art that can make or break a project. You've been a great resource for me and so many others. Thanks!
I signed up for your course, I started out on knits and am now worried about working on woven fabric...reverse things. Making my son pajamas, and I've made 4 dresses...with a lot off watching videos, and yours have been beyond helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you, Evelyn! I have a nice brand-new Brother machine with the usual accessories. My two main reasons for this machine were to adjust the length of t-shirts with a proper double needle hem, and to also hem pants legs. With your guidance I will certainly branch out. Thank you.
Ive been sewing for a little while but i still class myself as a beginer. I can make bags but clothes im not very good at. Im definately going to clean my machine as i havnt done that in a while oops. Thankyou for this. Its given me the motivation to start practicing again.
I have been sewing for years, mostly decorative stuff for home decor. I am interested in getting back to sewing clothes. I went through a difficult year...both my hubbie and I went through cancer treatment this past year, 2024. Our 55 yr. Old daughter passed away suddenly 3 mo. Ago from a heart attack, I am facing heart surgery in the next month....I need a diversion and would love to get back to sewing. Thank you Evelyn for sparking my interest.❤
I learned to sew in high school because we had 6 girls! Became a RN and worked for 32 years. I am retired and want to start sewing again. I need instruction on selecting the correct pattern size. They do it match the sizes in the stores. Please help me!! So glad you back doing what you love!
I have a couple video going over choosing the correct pattern size, that you may find helpful. th-cam.com/video/yqdEc687fZI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-L6OUvlJ9Ww8ZBhx th-cam.com/video/_FiLxJ7GDQw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pIYbvzDZxl9lNYA0
I made some comfy pants as my first sowing project and was really proud of myself. Then I went and got a really tricky viscose fabric for a skirt and I was so discouraged by the whole process that I didn't try to sow again after that. My new years resolution is to give it another shot. Thanks for the helpful video!
I hear this again and again! So, rest assured, your experience is a common one among beginner sewists! Fabric choice really does make a world of difference when you are just starting out! (But, I get the lure of fancy fabrics, too! 😊)
Hello from Atlanta! It’s so good to see you again healthy and smiling. ❤️ I’ve sewn for years but haven’t attempted garments for myself. I’m really excited to learn to make t-shirts that actually fit!! ❤️
Hi Evelyn, I am so happy you're offering this, Ty. I have followed you for years and have always been interested but recently decided to get serious about sewing, hopefully turn it into my occupation. I'm glad you're back & feeling better.
It’s great to see you making videos again! You look great. I hope you’re feeling a lot better, too! The main things I’ve been doing since buying the Brother electronic machine is making repairs (instead of buying new stuff) and learning the machine embroidery. I really want to learn how to do professional alterations (I’ve lost a lot of weight again but don’t want to have to buy all new clothes). Thank you and may you have a great 2025!
SO glad you're back! I plan to do a mock-up of a coat pattern that I have been drooling to do. The challenges: Separating zipper. Plaid fleece fabric. Later: lining. This is a challenge I have wanted to do sinc 2018. I do have other things I plan to work on, but this I have been waiting for. With all the goodies I need to get into, I plan to be very structured with it. I already cut out my traced pieces. I will cut it out next. Then...LET'Sgo!!!
So happy to have you back! You look great. I have learned so many valuable/useful things from your videos. Am looking foward to more. So really happy to see you.
Thank you for this video. I just finished a robe made from fleece for my granddaughter. Oh my goodness! It was challenging. I really need to start back at the basics on everything. I'm very good at following instructions but as you pointed out there is so much more to learn. ❤️
So Excited to get starting back from Scratch! For the past 20 years I have been quilting, sewing home decor, & only doing simple clothing repairs. I used to sew clothing but haven't for 30 years. I really need to re-learn everything. I am starting simple with wide leg cotton pants for summer. Thanks Evelyn!
I'm so glad that you're joining me for this series! Many of my students are in the same place in their sewing journeys! It is the reason why I so often include "and those of you restarting sewing, after a time away" when I am introducing beginner skills. What might surprise you, is how much of your previous knowledge comes flooding back! 😊
As someone with a body that doesn’t match any single size/pattern I am determined to learn how to sew, but I’m also really intimidated by how to get fit right in my problem areas (bust + bum) which has sort of paralysed me on the process. I hereby take this series of videos as a challenge to actually get started this year!
Im a self-taught sewist, started at age 11. Could not afford classes and didn't have the Internet back then. Did I make a lot of mistakes , sure! Learned a lot that way. Having said that, since finding you, I have learned so much more! Thank you, and hope that everyone who wants to learn to sew takes advantage of your beginner course and beyond. Glad to see you back! A Happy and Healthy New Year to you!
Love your content and all your advice is spot on. I've been sewing forever and would like to add one tip: Don't sew when you're tired. You're using potentially dangerous equipment and you want the best possible results. I've walked away when I get frustrated and went back the next day with a fresh attitude and never regret that. ❤
I learned to sew at school when they still had Home Ec. I loved it. One thing is I don't know how to make adjustments to patterns to get a good fit. I haven't sewn clothes for years but enjoy working on craft type projects that don't need adjustments.
Thank you for posting this video. I already signed up for the crash course. Now I just need to go and buy new needles and start on making the apron I've been wanting to make for the longest time. 😊
Perfect timing! I have a little experience sewing, but have certainly not mastered my machine… I am going to get my sewing machine manual out to read about all the functions of my machine, and practice straight stitching on a placemats project I was gifted fabric for years ago, and even made the bias tape to go around them! But have never put together.
Happy New Year, Ms. Wood!! Hope you had a lovely holiday season. Quick question on making mock-ups to practice a pattern ahead of time: if your garment fabric is a slippery one like silk, chiffon, organza, etc., do you find a cheap similar fabric or do you use a muslin/calico to do your practice garment? Won't the drape be different with cotton muslin versus mobile and un-structured silk? Thanks!!
Evelyn, you are so motivating! Your such a beautiful person inside and out. I love this content and I am a medium beginner. I have learned my very beginner sewing journey from you and all the details were way more informative than any class and teacher I've ever gone to. I have a lot to learn and yes I have several patterns that I had bought and would love to make but it scares me to even open them because I don't understand what some parts mean or I get confused by the next step they tell me todo. So because of this sometimes I think that maybe pattern drafting or making my own patterns would be easier.
Aww, thank you for your kind words! It sounds like you are in the right place, for sure! Learning to understand what the pattern envelope doesn't tell you can be such a tricky obstacle! I'll help fill in some of those information gaps so it doesn't seem so intimidating!
Thank you. Just the inspiration I need. I will create "time space' in my life to learn to sew. I figure -even if I can only manage 30 min a day - that's 30 min better than 0 minutes!!!!❤❤❤❤
I'm so happy about this! I'm pretty comfortable with my sewing machine, but after trying and failing several times to get the bust darts right on a 'simple' dress I gave up on garment sewing. I've been tempted to try again on an even simpler garment, but also hesitant. I've challenged myself to sew just 3 garments for myself, to fit the body I have, not the body I used to have, or the one I plan to have!
I'm just starting my first sewing project and have been watching all your videos! This is perfectly timed as I planned to get started today and am a total newbie 😅 Thank you so much for all the tips they're so helpful!!
Evelyn, thank you for making these videos. I have enjoyed the refreshers. I love the idea of the snipers. I have seen these on crochet videos and don't really think they will help me there, however, I can see a definite help here. I especially appreciate the tips to prevent thread jam!!! I have had this problem forever and look forward to practicing my new instructions. I foresee a bit of a challenge with my fabric choice. The fabric I will be using has a bit of a stretch, so I have some practice and experimenting ahead. 😏☺ Finally, I have another challenge coming up. I plan on using elastic, so there will be a lot of study for that. Again, thank you for the course work. I am looking forward to your normal upcoming videos.
Great timing…thanks for your steps..and PPP it allowed me to go tick, tick with my plan and then to add other items that are just as important to build both knowledge, skill and confidence. My projects so far ..embroidery Xmas tags, started a sewing stitch guide..where I had to cut, interface, draw lines and sew straight lines to form a grid and then play with all the stitches including the included text font a great task to learn and get used to your machine. Next a sewing machine cover..and your homework ❤.
This is such a great start! You sound thoughtful and motivated in your approach and I'm excited to see your progress! Be sure to tag any posts with #sewwithevelyn so I can see!
I took a basic sewing course at my local maker space 2 years ago. I loved it! I feel very good about making bags and pillowcases. I even took a second class to make a big floor pouf where I learned to use a zipper foot and piping! I am absolutely terrified to make garments though! I even acquired a used serger that I got cleaned and serviced and I've never used it. =/ I look forward to binging more of your videos!
You are not alone! So many of my students share how intimidating it is to start sewing clothes! But with so many sewing skills already under your belt you'll be surprised how much of a head start you already have!
Welcome to VSS! I'm so happy to have you join me there! Two great places to start: Join our community and be sure to download the study guide. It'll help you know which classes to start with and what to take next so you can craft an individual learning path! 😊
Hi Evelyn! What an absolute pleasure to see you and listen to your exceptional wisdom (I wish I knew these when I started sewing); they are wonderful pieces of 'tried and true' advice and I will dive into the video links that you provided for us. Everything that you said rings true for me especially using the correct fabric and that different fabric is a skill level in itself- Oh how much money I had spent on 'great looking' fabric which I could not sew (and am still unable to work with) as a beginner sewer. Your smile and your enthusiasm has brightened my whole day- I hope that you are having a Happy 2025 so far!
Thanks, Evelyn I been watching your videos here and there and I do love them. Your teaching on Sundays and at what time?. I just saw this new one and don't want to miss the next one.
Hi and welcome to VSS! A few of my students have the same experience, starting with knits and feeling intimidated by woven fabrics! They share that many of the skills transfer over, but that proper fitting is often an area they want to focus their learning, as knits tend to be more forgiving in regard to fit.
Darling Evelyn, i probably said this already, but your hair is so beautiful again! I also think the lenght and shape of your nails now suit you much better😉. Love the earrings too! I have so many questions again, 😊 that would be best for VSS. Still not able to come back though just yet. One you might be able to answer here is about the xewing machine pedal. I have an old but good, well workin machine, however, the pedal only has one speed now. I can't get it to do a slow speed anymore. I couldn't find anything on line. All i know is, that there are magnets in there that can wear out over time. Any thoughts? Ideas?❤
Luckily I can sew pretty well I'm not new new I know basics my first time I made was recently and I used a silk fabric it turned out surprisingly well but I usually make shirts and dresses❤
I love the video and knowledge thxs❤ what I am scared of is the crotch part of pants I've been sewing by hands for years but weirdly I am pretty good with machine the rest of my fabric is cotton and soft ❤
It's time to start your school, I have been so excited while waiting. I told my daughter that this year was to start your school, and that was my only resolution..😅😅
Hi Evelyn. Do you have advice on finishing seams that consist of gathered fabric attached to straight fabric? My machine is a vintage Singer from the 70s that doesn't even do a backstitch.
Pinking shears might be the best option. But your machine should be able to do a zig zag stitch. You might have to finish the raw edge before you gather it and seam it. Just some thoughts.
Dearest Evelyn, I am SO happy that you're back (for every positive reason)!

Yippeee! Your back and your so beautiful! Best wishes I hope you are feeling better!
Lovely haircut ❤
How wonderful!!! Thanks for offering this, you are such a brilliant teacher!
Yes I can not wait I pray I learn and never stop sewing 🧵 again. 🎉❤😊
SO SO happy to see you back glowing and healthy💕SO looking forward to getting back to learning. Wish this channel and you the very best.
🎉🎉🎉Fabulous!!! 🎉🎉🎉
My problem is it can't find any patterns I like. I don't like the fashions in the stores either. 😢
This is how I got into historical fashion! Also i discovered a passion for Japanese style clothing and have made a few garments in that style. The world is your oyster
Vintage patterns are available online.
Ebay!!!!!!!
Try looking for patterns at thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales and even the public library. I found some lovely vintage (60's) patterns at Habitat for Humanity last year. Good luck!
@Littlebeth5657 i love the Japanese layered look
this has been on my 2025 intention list since about October last year 🥰 thank you Evelyn.
So looking forward to this.
Funny thing is this is on my goal list for 2025. Perfect timing!
Thank you Evelyn, you are a blessing to many including myself!
You have just made my day! ❤️ I can’t wait!
OMG so true, I bought my sewing machine, and it sat in its box for 6 months before I was game enough to use it. I am self-taught (with thanks to your informative videos). and I have done everything you have talked about!!! So all you viewers out there, take note - Evelyn's wisdom is priceless!!
Can’t wait, Evelyn! Thank you so much! ❤️🙌
Evelyn, you look fabulous. It is great seeing you do a video. I shared this with my daughter. She is learning to sew.😊
i thank you for the start of my adventures in sewing
I bought a 2nd hand machine 2 years ago but have been too afraid to have a go😂 - it's now or never. (I'm 54 and never learned to sew)
Thanks!
I’m 59, experienced beginner
Good description! Same here.
Ditto 😂
I signed up for your course, I started out on knits and am now worried about working on woven fabric...reverse things. Making my son pajamas, and I've made 4 dresses...with a lot off watching videos, and yours have been beyond helpful. Thank you so much!
Neither material is hard just has different things to watch out for. You’ve already concord stretch so I’m sure you won’t have any problems.
This is my year!!
This is exactly what I'm looking for thank you so much❤
Thank you, Evelyn!
Hello, lovely! Thank you for your enthusiasm and super happy for your return
I learned to sew in high school because we had 6 girls! Became a RN and worked for 32 years. I am retired and want to start sewing again. I need instruction on selecting the correct pattern size. They do it match the sizes in the stores. Please help me!! So glad you back doing what you love!
I have a couple video going over choosing the correct pattern size, that you may find helpful. th-cam.com/video/yqdEc687fZI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-L6OUvlJ9Ww8ZBhx
th-cam.com/video/_FiLxJ7GDQw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pIYbvzDZxl9lNYA0
I made some comfy pants as my first sowing project and was really proud of myself. Then I went and got a really tricky viscose fabric for a skirt and I was so discouraged by the whole process that I didn't try to sow again after that. My new years resolution is to give it another shot. Thanks for the helpful video!
I hear this again and again! So, rest assured, your experience is a common one among beginner sewists! Fabric choice really does make a world of difference when you are just starting out! (But, I get the lure of fancy fabrics, too! 😊)
Looking forward to this😊Yaay...
Xx
I am excited to try to see some clothes for me. Thank you for your time to teach others how to do this. ❤
Sounds great!!! Thank you so much!
Welcome back, Evelyn...
Hello from Atlanta! It’s so good to see you again healthy and smiling. ❤️ I’ve sewn for years but haven’t attempted garments for myself. I’m really excited to learn to make t-shirts that actually fit!! ❤️
I am excited to learn!
thanks so much for your time and shared knowledge.
I have made clothes after following your videos that I can actually ware. Looking forward to learning more. 😊
Fantastic I am excited about this
Hi Evelyn, I am so happy you're offering this, Ty.
I'm so glad to see you are well, cuz we sewists need to learn and absorb your encouragement. Your whole life has proved we cannot give up.
Its one of my goal for this, thanks u so much
So happy to have you back!
Wonderful to see you back and looking healthy!
I completely agree!
Dearest, dearest Evelyn i'm so glad you're back! Great to have you back! Thanks for everything you teach us!!! Oooo and happy new year!!!
Thank you for explaining the difference between ironing and pressing! I knew there was one but I never understood what it was.
Thank you Evelyn!
Thanks!!
I am looking forward to this as a refresher course,. It has been years since I tried to sew clothes
Absolutely correct, press, press, press! Makes a world of difference. That and seam finishing✂
Happy New Year, Evelyn! Wishing you a healthy and fulfilling 2025! Looking forward to many more sewing tutorials from you!
How awesome I am so looking forward to this ❤
Thank you. Just the inspiration I need. I will create "time space' in my life to learn to sew. I figure -even if I can only manage 30 min a day - that's 30 min better than 0 minutes!!!!❤❤❤❤
I would love to learn how to make patterns. I can't sew without a pattern
Love watching new Evelyn I’ve learned so much
Im so excited for this series. All your content is so helpful and motivating.
I just made myself a pair of pyjama shorts but i have so much to learn.
These goals sound perfect for continuing to build your skills! 😊🧵
A perfect video for the new year! ❤
I'm just starting my first sewing project and have been watching all your videos! This is perfectly timed as I planned to get started today and am a total newbie 😅 Thank you so much for all the tips they're so helpful!!
Yay, welcome to the world of sewing! I'm so glad you're joining me for this series! One word of caution ― it can be addictive! 🤣
Evelyn you are looking so good. Now that we are in the new year I am going to start sewing clothes. So far all I have done is hem my weaving.
I just joined your school. I have some experience, but not enough so I decided to take my journey to the next level. Thank you❤️
Welcome to VSS! I'm so happy to have you join me there! Two great places to start: Join our community and be sure to download the study guide. It'll help you know which classes to start with and what to take next so you can craft an individual learning path! 😊
We buy thrifted sheets all the time. Just wash it well and dry, then you’re good to go!!
They share that many of the skills transfer over, but that proper fitting is often an area they want to focus their learning, as knits tend to be more forgiving in regard to fit.
can't wait 🌟
I thought to start making a duvet cover from double size to king size.
Happy New Year Evelyn!
It's time to start your school, I have been so excited while waiting. I told my daughter that this year was to start your school, and that was my only resolution..😅😅
Yay, I'm so glad! I can't wait to see you there (be sure to join the community to we can all get to know you! 👋😊)
I did, and I am so happy. I have already replied to a few people, and I did a little intro. I'll see you at school. 😊
Thank you!Happy New Year!
So happy I found your channel
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us ❤👍
Super cool and exciting!! Can’t wait!
@@denisedorsey2889 Thank you
