Solid Intro to loop tools. It surprises me how few people know about them. The looptools curve tool is the big one. I'd say the single most important tool in Blender. So few people know what it is reallydoes or what it is capable of!
Your channel is by far the best channel for blender 3d content for beginners and intermediates looking to become advance. Amazing job. I wish I had known that earlier.
OMG!!! why I haven`t seen this 3 hours ago I just finished spherical peace with holes trough. I was underlying the cylinders where the holes should be and manually moving the vertexes around and the result was meh. With this tool, I modeled it again within minutes! Thank you.
Great tutorial, I forgot how powerful loop tools are, never used the loft tool, never seen it before but I can see a lot of great possibilities with this 👍
buddy honestly has the best tutorials . he goes into to depth. gives visual example an everything. other people just explain is if they are remining you about it
The curve tool is good for things like this, but this is not really what it is for! It does so much more! It is blenders Implementation of 'cubic interpolation' and probably it's most powerful tool!
Your videos are always very helpful. I also like your soothing, calm voice. You sound like me when I’m in the next room and don’t want people to hear me talking 😂
It has struck me as a little odd especially when building models of ship hulls that blender doesn't exactly have a loft tool or modifier. The closest thing is probably "bridge edge loops." This looks better. It seems the difference between bridge and loft is that with loft you can set the segments to zero and it will then potentially add varying numbers of intermediate loops, depending on the spacing of the control loops selected. Great stuff.
I've recently watched a video where there was definitely a function to make a surface from multiple curves, akin to lofting in 3DS Max. I'm new to Blender, so I'm still learning, but I'll try and come back with the video you need! Edit: I'm pretty sure this was the video, and by the same author :) th-cam.com/video/XcfhykEivKM/w-d-xo.html
is there a way to space the loop by angle of curvature? rather than distance ? so that there would be more segments where the radius of curvature is smaller, and fewer segments where the radius of curvature is larger.
Nice tutorial, but can you also make a tutorial on how to texture a tree? You know tree that you've modelled, not generated using that built in tree generator. I'm trying to use cylinder projection, cube projection, smart UV... I've tried everything, and the wood texture always looks strange or its messed up on it :(. Also rock texturing tutorial would be great or it could be in same tutorial. Simple rock... but super hard to texture it, sphere projection has visible seams... always :(
Those are nice but I cannot find a way to select all faces going around a cylinder. Alt - LMB only orbits for me and no other keys I hit just auto-select faces with one click around a cylinder or cube. How are people doing that while modeling? I see people selecting a row around a cylinder then insetting it and extruding to get these ridges but I cannot do it w/o orbiting and manually selecting them all or selecting with drag but still orbit to get the other side. xray might work but it's still not one click on a face. any ideas? I'm using 3.5.1 thx!!
Gotta know what youre doing to grab and pull the plane. Im in edit mode i have 9 cuts on my plane i have bridge tool active i have my vertices selected im in the select tool. All my arrow does is make a box
That really is unfortunate! The bartiuscrouch website you linked in the description is no longer functional, and it seems that cached versions do not exist of it. It’s been entirely erased. Hopefully, someday, another guide as useful as that once was will come out.
Hi everyone! Let me know if/how you're using Loop Tools in the comments below! :)
Hi, the links you mentioned about minute 1:30 are no longer.
i can’t find the looptools option anywhere, not on addon or on the selected parts ):

I had loop tools but never really understood how all of them worked so thanks for the great tutorial
I will now be using loop tools after watching your excellent demonstration.
Thanks for shining a light on an often-overlooked tool! It is a big help!

Nice. I love the circle tool. The curve tool seems maybe useful too. Been having problems making the peak of a cap the right shape. This could help!

Big thanks for reminding me how helpful this tool is without having to buy addons. Cheers
Thanks for explaining such a useful instrument!
Thank you so much for this tip made my modelling way easier
I had no idea these tools existed. Thank you!

Explainers like this are so helpful. thank you!

Very Excellent, thanks for everything!!
this channel is great, thanks for your work.
This was extremely helpful! Loop Tools is awesome and I should definitely use it more! Thank you for uploading this great demonstration, Justin!
Solid gold! Thx Dr. J!!
I love the Loop Tools, it helped me a lot:)
thanks broo, that was amazing . i have learne a loot from you
At 3:30 bridging to circles make sure they are separate objects Ctr - J

exactly what I was looking for :)
u r awsome. thanks for your tutorials

Brilliant tutorial. I subd.
Thank you
thank you very much
Hello! more helpful, Thank you very mucha. Greetings.
I dont see looptools
thanks!
Thank you so much!
thanks
good video thank for share.
Thanks :D
Bro thanks for the tutorial 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

"Script home page" link now displays a site not found response..
The community and official doesn’t pop up for me what do I do?

Tnx bro
Hmm doesnt work on Blender 3.5 and I dont know why. I wanted make bridge between two circle and I couldnt. Any idea
what is the shortcut for this addons?
Update in Dec 2023: the documentation website is not found anymore (ref: @1:28).
Seems like the documentation of loop tools is gone.
Sadly, bartiuscrouch is 404
forever?
i hate that intro sentence so bad
thank you so much!
