    The USP line is one of the best handguns ever to come out in my opinion, I never get tired of looking at them, And one of the toughest and most reliable weapons ever made, Love the way they look also

    The USP is a great series of firearms. It still overshadows the HK45. Great review as always, sir!

    I am such a huge fan of Trijicon’s HD sights, I put them on every single pistol I buy. I know they’re overpriced compared to other offerings but they did right by me with my ACOG in the Marine Corps so I’ll pay a little extra.

    Excellent. I’ve got P30 w the flat faced trigger, but they’re LEM and from Langdon. My understanding is that LEM is even better on the USP models.

    One of my favorite guns I own. I have the exact same set up, except when I added the gray guns nick flat trigger I also converted it to LEM. The safety jammed into my thumb and was generally just in the way. LEM fixed that and is great, gun shoots amazing. Solid review

    Great video! I just picked one up without even holding one but because I already have p2000sk in 9 and 40. Love it after 1 trip to range with all 5 8cap magazines that it came with. Got it at a steal deal. My go to next to the p2000sks. I also bought a version 7 so no safety. Looking into doing threaded barrel/silencer combo and the different sights. Cant wait to go at it some more

    This might seem like a lopsided comparison, but I have Taurus TH45. To me it seems like the budget friendly option of this gun. HK is definitely high quality, but if you get the opportunity with your range, it might be worth comparing the two as a video idea. As always, I appreciate and enjoy your content. Thank you.

    Something isn't quite right with your GG install. At 12:15 you lower the hammer but the trigger is still far back like it's in single action. At 13:42 you dry fire it but the trigger stays back again. Same thing happens at 17:38. If you move the video frame-by-frame you can see at 17:40 that the trigger finally resets to DA when the gun is bumped by inserting the magazine. This is likely what happened in the beginning during your live fire session. Definitely do not rely on this for self defense until you get it sorted out.

    MD.....Get the blue stock hammer spring out. I put a 10# in mine and won't go back. It ignites all primers I've put through it...I'll also add that in all my HK's, I either put the 10# in or in the case of the P2000 or HK45C, cut the coils off and then use my Lyman gauge to get a lb. rating that I want in single action. It usually hits around 4.5 and double around 7 to 8 lbs.

      1 1/4 coil removed did a fine job of lightening up and smoothing my trigger in both DA and SA.

    I just bought a used USP 45 compact from my local gunstore. They had a Black Friday Special of 20% off all new guns. I asked if they could do any better on the used guns and they sold me the HK USP compact for 530 out the door which I thought was a pretty good price. One thing I dont like about the gun is the magazine release, it's very small and hard to depress and the magazines don't drop out as easily as in your video. Perhaps it needs a new spring ? I like your sights and love that trigger and will order those items ASAP. Did you install the sights and trigger yourself or did you take it to a gunsmith? Thanks for a great video.

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is a fantastic price! Congratulations on your purchase. I normally install all the sights myself, but HK are a little tricky. I had my local gunsmith install both the sights and the trigger. Thank you so much for stopping by!

    The HK USP is a sexy looking gun. Only thing I don’t like is the light rail is proprietary but it’s not that big of a deal. Also would like to see a red dot on it. Does HK even make an optic ready USP? Awesome review.

    Great review but that gun is a bit too old school for me, but my main question is, I know the 45 has won a couple of wars. but if the round is so great, how come the police never adopted the round? They had 38. They had the 40c And now the 9mm never. 45.
