This truck hit a ditch and twisted the front end sideways, someone else "swapped the clip" and I was tagged in to put the bumper on and finish the job…
Don't know about a twisted frame, but you give those old ford trucks built between 1997-2004 with the 4.6 engine a little love, and they'll last forever! My '97 has 213,00. No leaks, runs like new and ac blows cold. I do wax it, keep the engine clean, and change the oil every 4,000. Wife and I would rather drive the truck then the 2020 car which looks pretty taking up space in the garage.
Done it in west Phoenix with a Mulberry tree on a Plymouth Cricket frame and in Flagstaff with a Ponderosa Pine Tree! Yes I have. 😊 And, pretty sure I wore Big Mac overalls too.
Can I heat up frame with torch and pull on it with some players? Also do the dimensions have to be perfect? And lastly. Can I cut bent end of bumper frame with grinder and make shift a new bumper end frame pice with some steel and stick weld it to existing piece and maybe self tap new bumper on with some self tapers ?
Heating it up hot enough to bend it with pliers will take the temper out of it, it doesn’t have to be exact but it does have to be close, I would never depend on self tapers to hold on a bumper
That was pretty good, let’s see some more!👍🏿😂
The disgust at the self tappers around 3:45 caused me to involuntarily smash the subscribe button. BRB. Going to buy some self-tapping screws.
Great job!
my dad always told me about how my great grandfather would straighten frames this way

Awesome vid. Gave me hope and inspiration for my tweaked front end. Got another sub for those reactions to the previous mechanic lol.
I have the same problem and was trying to figure out how to fix it myself for cheap. Great idea thanks.

Just like how we used to do it in Sayre, OK back in the day!! Great video
Just got back from the other end of your state, the part that’s anything but flat. Lol will be back there after new years to pick up a car.
Great job sir 😊

You ever fixed a 02 Tahoe frame I'm trying to fix mines got any videos of one
I do those jobs as needed, I try to keep from having to…never had to do one of those and it would depend on exactly how it’s bent.
