Hard Rock Sacramento buffet for like $55 they have lobster, snow crab, Dungeness crab, prime rib.
Spot on review. Went there last December to play a little bit at the tables and ate at the buffet. Got most of the items that you got except the brisket and chicken and waffles. Just too many items and didn't want to super stuff myself. For the price it is very good.

Greetings from Torrance and Happy New Year! Absolutely fantastic video! I haven't been to Morongo for about 5 years and the Buffet was completely different. I like the new design and concept. The utensils are not touched by everyone and is kept so much cleaner. My only objection is that because I'm older(56) I eat like a little girl. I always get a small portion of the foods. Looks like they give designated portions. But I love the layout and choices. Have to give credit to Morongo on this Buffet. Thanks again Dan and hope you have been well! Take care!

Damn that looks better than most Vegas buffets and I have been to pretty much all of them. Everything looks fresh and prices comparable to most Vegas buffets and love that they have lots of Asian food options. Thank you for the review....Will check them out soon.

That’s good that they rotate the menu every two weeks. I love esquites.
I don’t like it how we have to wait in line to get the food or the fact we can’t control our own portions. Everything is behind a glass? So impersonal. What happens when it’s crowded? Do we have to wait for staff to get food for us? I like buffet because I want to control my portion and pick what I want and don’t want. I would not be going.
Great review video! Very helpful. How was the guacamole on the taco? It looked cheap and like it came from a bag, lol. I am going in a few days, and this really helped.
I ate this buffet in august . The food is t good . Cielo was bad also .
I kind of remember the Rio Las Vegas buffet being like this back in the day. Many years ago I think it was called the world buffet. Seemed like a lot of restaurant stations. Of course that was many years ago. I am 57 now and this was when I was just a kid.
Rio buffet was very fun

27:27 It is approximately 1 hour 45 mins from DTLA no traffic and if you do not speed! wow before COVID and the remodel it was like $24.99 and Seafood Day might have been a few bucks more. I will have to revisit it soon!

Aaww man.. my brother was there earlier this month and invited me to the buffet. But I declined cause I thought it was self serve. But its not!! Gah! I wish I knew. Oh well, next time.

went there one time and food is good but very controlled. its not a self serve and you have to ask the server to gave you food and they will give you a limited food. Like 3 pcs of Oysters only per trip.

Cool concept of preparing your order fresh but how were the wait times? Is there a time limit? I know for a lot of people it's about crushing as many plates as possible lol.
Everything is by reservation. It sucks
I’ve been here about 10 times now. Surprisingly they are able to keep the lines moving quick never waited more then a minute or two to get my food at each station. Most the time really no waits at all just walk up order what I want and about 30 seconds later they have it plated and hand it to you. That being said I’ve only gone on weekdays so possibly the weekend could be a slightly longer wait. There is no limits you can go back to each station and order as many times as you want. Just keep in mind you have to make a reservation there is no line to just walk in. Reservation are made right in front of the restaurant at the kiosk or front desk.
Crab is extra $20 for a serving total of 1.25 lbs?

Looks good. I like the concept but also dislike it due to the portion size. I like to try new things at a buffet so I get small portions to see if I like something. Thinking alot of food waste with this concept.
Will check it out next time in the L.A. area.

Brisket was tender juicy when I went in January, perhaps best meat in the buffet better than the "prime" rib aka rib roast
Morongo style buffet will quickly fill you up and waste a lot of food because they don't allow customers to control the food portion. I will still try just for 1 time.

That's definitely not Texas brisket! I guess you can't win them all. I think you get too much food at one time and it sits until you can get to it. It's probably cold from the lag time? Just my opinion 🤷

Can I just say..for over 50 dollars this buffet is straight ass. Everything is just mid. And you have to pay extra for crab legs..hell nah.
It's much safer this way at a buffet like this where everybody and e specially kids aren't up touching all over everything and coughing everywhere.
