They start at 3pm on weekend now. If I were to do it again, I would pick the 4pm entrance. The opening time was packed for me and the line started to form at each station but around 4pm no more line.
Boy has Hadley grown up & remodeled! I remember going there a couple of time about 50 years ago & it was like a farmer's market/barn where we got fruits, nuts & vegetables. Glad to see they are still around and in a modern store building!
The old Hadley building, the barn, was still there a couple of years ago. Looked abandoned. The new Hadley is basically a Trader Joe. We looked and left. Too disappointed given the old memories.
Lisa is a very thoughtful taster. ALWAYS gentle clean eater which makes it more enjoyable to watch and Bill gets right to the point and also neat eater but she is pristine.
Tonight we are in the middle of nowhere in Virginia traveling to Louisiana, found this rural motel, not much dinner to speak of, just half a pizza each & a cookie salivating watching your delicious feast!!! Cheers !! 🥂

I had watched this one previously but now I watched it in sequence with the hotel tour. Very interesting and informative and I always love your analysis of a buffet!! ❤ I loved the giant s’more on a stick I guess that’s what it was!! What a cool idea!

There were small lines when it first opened, but after things settled down a bit, there were little to no lines at the stations. This was mid week, not sure how it would be on the weekends.
Great video as always. I like this buffet theme. Different restaurants all in one place. I liked that steamed fish and tuna poolkah and the thick pizza. That’s what caught my eye. The dessert station looked wonderful. Thanks for sharing

Hi Bill, Lisa and Leslie! Competing date shakes! I’m going to add Morongo to my bucket list after this episode for sure now! Want to try the Harley’s trail mixes…the Chef in charge of buffet did a great job…a variety of choices but not too overwhelming! And portions not too big so you can sample more cuisine. From the appearances of the food looks very fresh…yes I eat with my eyes! Lol! Ok I definitely want to try what Lisa picked…Birria Ramen! Great episode of an alternate place to visit. Limit 5 on the desserts…I was laughing when I saw that! So many choices…but those were very good portioned desserts…very beautiful display! For me if the guacamole is not good it ruins my appetite…lol! The brisket looks more delectable…not quite Texas but will satisfy the BBQ craving…Thanks for sharing! Some of the Biria taco places in OC have birria ramen but they just use the consomme and instant ramen. You could also do this at home with your leftover consomme when getting birria tacos. Apparently birria ramen is a thing.
Hawaiian Airlines has changed to Jason Momoa’s water company, Mananalu. One of the selling points is using an aluminum bottle to eliminate plastic waste in the ocean. So Hawaiian offers aqua from Aquaman.
Tuna style lobster roll, seafood salad style. Asian Plates no rice if ask. Italian rigatoni, meatballs, marinara sauce. Ramen noodles birriria? Street Tacos. Brisket, waffles and syrup. Pizza!
Loving this buffet. Heck I'd go just for the desserts! Like that they hand everything to you. Helps keep things cleaner. So excited as I will be arriving in Vegas Tuesday night!!! If you make it to Las Vegas this week maybe we can meet up.

Hello Bill and Lisa. OMG, Fabio is one of my favorite Chefs. He was on Top Chef. I don't think he won, but he should have. He has/had restaurants in Westlake and Universal City. I’ve had both shakes and prefer Hadley’s, hands down.
