  • Best if not better alternative to Gyeon Wetcoat? Can Stjarnagloss Glatt be up to the spray and rinse game by being only a drying aid? Seriously good performer, just as many others in the Stjarnagloss range.

    Great demo Viktor, looks like a solid product! I really like these kind of spray and rinse sealants for wheels in particular as they're just so quick to use. I'm a fan of Autoglanz Prizm and Bouncer's Bead Juice, I'd recommend both those if you get a chance to try them. They can be used as spray and rinse sealants or as standard spray sealants on dry panels so they feel a bit more versatile compared to something like Gyeon Wet Coat which is pretty cool!

      Thank you Heather! Spray and rinse products so far my favorite kind, as they’ve got so much better in the past 2 years or so, and basically takes no effort to apply. And as you said, using on wheels and/or areas where a pain to apply any protection these just works fine. AG Prizm and Bouncer’s Bead Juice sound good, too! Thanks for the suggestion, I will try them whenever I’ll have a chance. Would be a nice test to compare all these big boys at the same time :)

      Autoglanz Prism! Tried it for the first time recently,applied it the good old fashion way and after 3 washes it is still so strong.
      I'm sold,it's holding up aswell as Bsd with the Shinee wax finish.

      I need to look in to this AG Prism, sounds promising. Glatt can hold up pretty well too. Spray and rinse products kinda getting more popular as time flies.

    One of the ones I want to try. I currently have a bottle of CarPro Hydro and a bottle of Wet Coat. Want to try Glatt as well as DIY Detail Quick Beads.

      Both Hydro and Wet Coat are great. Glatt I really like, but also there is a brand called “Deturner”, they have a spray and rinse product called “Wet Coat” :) That is also very nice stuff. You can see that in my “Can Deturner Products” video if interested. ✌🏻

    I just bought this on Amazon and looking forward to seeing how it compares to 303 Touchless Sealant🤔

    • @RoadToDetailing
      @RoadToDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven’t used 303 Touchless Sealant just yet, but Stjärnagloss Glatt is by far the best spray and rinse I used up to date. Let me know what you thing once you tried 😉

      @@RoadToDetailing Have you ever tried spraying it on and then wiping it in and then rinsing it off?

    • @RoadToDetailing
      @RoadToDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, haven’t tried that method. I don’t know how would this react on a dry surface tbh. Will give this a go on the weekend to see. I just fell in love with spray on rinse off :)

      @@barrybij8079 indeed, but if you like to try out new stuff, I highly recommend this "new to US market" Stjarnagloss Glatt. Really up to the game.
      I know a reseller of McKees in UK, might have a look tonight and see if Hydro Blue available through them.

    Seems like you use alot of product, is it needed? Your spraying like 10 sprays a panel?
    GYEON WetCoat need like 2 a 3 sprays per panel and spreads even when rinsing off.

    • @RoadToDetailing
      @RoadToDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Downie, good point. Actually I used a lot of product due the car had no protection at all. Glatt would act the same way as Wetcoat, so basically 2-3 mists would do the job, but I knew the owner of the car won’t mind the car for a good amount of time, hence i was heavy on the sprays, and double the layers if that makes sense. On the bonnet I barely used more than 2-3 mists and it worked great. Fair point, thanks for asking 🙌

    How long does it last?

    • @RoadToDetailing
      @RoadToDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว

      While I have no exact weeks/months data, also it very much depends on your circumstances, I can confirm that it lasts reasonably long considering the fact it’s a spray and rinse. For me, it was still noticeable after 2 months, and fully died at around 3-3.5 months. Used it during warmer weather conditions, as well as on wheels. On wheels it still did at around 2 months.
