Randy Hansen transcends the limits that confine most cover artists. I believe he understands Hendrix better than anyone and communicates from the same realm as the master himself. A humble master giving voice to the greatest of them all.
I met Randy at a gig in Switzerland, some years ago, and he was a very kind spirit, besides being a totally awe- inspiring guitarist,singer performer and stage personality. I really enjoy to seeing him continue to do his thing in 2023- keep going Randy- we love you for your playing and big smile- always.

I saw Randy at the Admiral Theater in Bremerton WA with Rail & Co. opening the show in 1980. That's the year he released his Champagne & Cocaine album. I've been invited to a regular jam every Thursday night at his place in Auburn but haven't made it yet. This drummer doesn't know ANY of this material.
It's such a shame Randy Hanson can't perform his US shows with his EU band. Thát band makes Randy ánd the Songs "SHINE"! Thís band Never sounds as a Unit, Bassplayer ain't "Tight" with the Drummer, as a solid foundation for Randy. Sorry..
