I don't know if TH-cam keeps sending me to this girl, but I am happy about it. Grace is on another level; I feel transported back in time. THANK YOU GRACE!!!!!
Thanks for the comment! Most folks would probably be surprised to learn that the Nashville Heatwaves "team" consists of a 73 yr old retired school teacher with long covid and an iphone. And he's having great fun with this project!
Beautiful job I love this song from Jimi's live album. And girl you are playing that guitar jimi would be proud. You can be in the next Band of Gypsies
Be nice if someone created their own new tunes…easier to copy something that has already been done…good, but there are a lot of good versions of Jimi’s original…..from Band Of Gypsy’s. Got my copy in 71 when i was 12
Grace makes me just want to throw in the towel, sell my guitars, sell my amps and pedals, too. Ill never be that good. Take a breath i tell myself. Its not a contest. I still have fun, but dang she is such a natural. Even her hair is better than i could grow. Oh yeah, its not a contest. Simmer down i remind myself again.
I doubt Grace has been Experienced, She ain't been to the inner depths , She can pluck and has a good ear .she ain't lived it. She ain't had it hard . Living her white bread .
So- does she do studio work presently? Is that a consideration for her? Is she a road dog trainee? Is she a songwriter in training? Is she being schooled to produce? Is she just hanging out? Is she professionally managed by relatives or music lifers? Does she care about “success”? I have so many questions. It’s been a short while. Is she doing what she wants to do presently? We all saw that guitar at Gruens- before pandemic. What’s up. I feel watching Grace l’m not sure what l’m seeing. We fell in love with her talents- seeing her in Nashville is so cool. After watching for a period of time, l have more questions than answers. Sorry. This isn’t professional wrestling.some 🎉ething is hidden or misrepresented. I am starting to fell uncomfortable watching her recently
Recording an EP at present. Gigs mostly in Nashville. Grace is in demand. She's been to SXSW, Eric Clapton's Crossroads Fest, Newport Folk Fest. Playing a festival gig in Napa, CA in May. She does some co-writes in Nashville. Grace has a quality manager, publicist, and team around her and plans to tour outside Nashville when EP is out.
@@dougcallaghan6075thank you. Everyone is entitled to their privacy. But when you are performing, people ask which direction are you sailing. Appreciate your reply. Best wishes to her and her team.

Esther, please, leave this band. You're wasting your time and your talent. The band sucks? No, it's a wonderful band. But there is no room for you. Stop smiling. Stop dancing. STOP looking to the ground. Go find your own way! Or this band change it's philosophy or you should leave it. This band should bring you to the center, with Grace. Hey, you band, especially you, Grace, take Zeppelin approach. You and Esther need to be tightly, deeply connected. Grace, you are a wonderful guitarist, but STOP wasting Esther time.
No sé le parece a Hendrix ni en el título, todo esto hace que de un tema bueno de un gran artista se desnaturalize y se menosprecie, es triste, llevo escuchando a jimi desde el 1982
Bowers seemed a bit lost on this song.....I know they are pushing her to perform, but she plays pretty much the same lead pattern on every song. More time should help her become more original....right now I'm not seeing anything really special....other than her age.
I think there should be a social media rule that states that critics should have to upload their attempt. (For what it’s worth, the age is pretty relevant. That’s the point isn’t it? I mean, she’s probably been playing guitar meaningfully for about five years).
Is Grace’s time in Nashville a substitute for a Berkeley education? Or is she supposed to be offered a scholarship because of her past? Like the mandolin player we all love that had that happen? Is the goal to be Bonnamossa successful in that vein?? Or none of the above?
Folks get caught up in celebrity the "cult of personality" and "listen" with their eyes n egos instead of their ears. In my opinion, the whole thing is weak: On the definitive BOG version, the focus clearly was on the authenticity of the message, phrasing both vocally and guitaristicly, and, above all, the groove. This version loses all of that.

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, DAMMIT. FIRST OF ALL, KUDOS TO THE WHOLE BAND....GRACE, SHE FUCKED AROUND, SHE KILLED IT & OUTRIGHT MURDERED IT... Great rips ☮️💟
Loving the vocals too. Had the original on cassette in 1973 lol.
Little funk & soul in the morning does a body good. Thanks
Outstanding!!!

OK im gonna say it........I have not heard a guitarist so natural, so 'there' since Hendrix and SRV - my ears, my brain thanks you xx
Are you being paid to say this? lol this chick is not good everything I’ve seen of her is boring noodling

Goosebumps, thank you
I have seen so much great talent on NHWs, and good audio/video. If the Nashville Chamber of Commerce isn't backing this, they should!

@nashvilleheatwaves2695 I tried doing a public access music show in Austin mid 80s. Took a van of equipment, nearly killed me

Its the substitute. Instead of getting the education at school she’s getting it by filling in on these sessions.
