Whats even more alarming is the majority of the average believer on the street have difficulties forming a personal opinion. Instead they just repeat the officially accepted and approved statements when they are asked for one. Its really facinating to observe.
Criticizing Islam is difficult everywhere in the world. I noticed this even in the West. For example, I have even been non-offensive, rational, and polite with Muslims I knew personally. When some are encouraged to read the scriptures and return later with their "peace" discussions, they act like I don't exist. Even this makes it very hard to have a civil conversation; I can't imagine living in a society where people are literally shunned, lynched, and punished for even criticizing a 1500-year-old ideology. There's a lot of gaslighting among Muslims. They want people to see a different reality than the one written about in the books.
I have found that Muslims can be very civil and rational about EVERY subject - except religion. The very mention of anything to do with questions about faith sends them into defensive panic mode.
To be fair, please resist the temptation to witness to everyone you meet. We’ve all heard of Jesus and we know where to find him. Just let them know you’re Christian and can answer any questions.
Yeah they always manage to exceed your expectations in how terrible they can be intellectually and in how they treat others (morally). The explanation is simple, they're not on the same page with you they're not interested in the discussion itself they feel it's an existential fight to defend religion so the 2 of you are in 2 different worlds. As another reply said the defensive panic mode makes logic, consistency and morality secondary or totally ignored. I'm not in the west though (Egypt).
@@freiheit3 , good points all. Muslims go into panic mode whenever Islam is challenged. They don't want to discuss; they feel that their very existence is being threatened. At that point logic, evidence, facts, and basic listening skills go right out the window. There is simply no common ground for the discussion. Muslims and Kuffar might as well be from different planets in reference to the subject of religion.

I haven't watched this all yet Abdullah but just a sense to share - I bet this is going to be an educated and sophisticated video, and please can we have more of that? ! I feel, whether it is the algorithms, or the commentators themselves, so many social media accounts are getting sucked into a sort of 'catastrophic consciousness'. We are all being cajoled into 'taking sides', more and more it seems? I mean, headlines like "We're all doomed !", or super simplistic analysis that you know well, like - all Muslims are secret Taqiyya people - or whatever -. I just want to say I really appreciate the commentary that bring humanity to Islam. I don't want Muslims 'monstered', I do want Islamist fanatics to start thinking, and feeling, for themselves? And, as you probably know, I regard the questioners, the 'Ex' Muslims as the progressive Muslims. It helps me explain to my liberal friends that there is a growing movement in the Islamic world away from blind adherence to set behaviour patters. I don't think this is the end of the world, I think maybe for Islam it is the start of a thaw? Anyway, just posting in support of what you generally do, have sophisticated, many-sided chats with people about the very complicated contemporary sociology of Islam. Well done !
The talk about the holy shield around the 26 minute mark reminds me of 'The Outsider Test for Faith', by John Loftus. He describes it as a variation on the Golden Rule: "Do unto your own faith what you do to other faiths." So you apply the same scepticism to your own faith as you do to the beliefs of all the other faiths.
I live in the US and Muslims seem to be pretty happy here, and you rarely hear about any kind of problems. And I wonder why it's such a different situation in Europe. There are a lot of Muslim immigrants to the United States also, many of whom are religious, and yet it's nothing like what's going on in European countries.
Interesting interview - very interesting he considers himself a deist! However, the discussion of Job was superficial. You should discuss this with a Christian schooler, like David Wood or Mike Winger. Otherwise good channel.
This was so thought provoking and valuable, I enjoyed every minute of it! I didn't know the term deist before, but actually I fall into this category also. Sometimes I read the Bible and go to church, but for me this is more to connect with tradition. This conversation has left me so much to ponder...
I have a question for the gentleman. What is more likely, that the 12 apostols where persecuted in different ways and places , not gaining money, fame beforehand or after, all for a lie ? For what end would they do that? Thank you, God bless ❤️☦️
He explained it as a bit confusing. The very conservative sects in Islam are very aligned with the Islamic scriptures, but that can not be the reason to leave Islam. If Islam is really from god, so he or she knows the best you need to obey even if you can not understand or you do not like it. All these signs, brutality, and viewpoints to humans, especially women, etc., should make you doubt it, but in the end, the confident way to be free from Allah's slavery sect is to study the Quran and see all nonsense and stupid fallacies.
It is not the question of not understanding though, if that was the case then it would be fine for most people. It is the question of something being complete nonsense. For example when you add up inheritence portions to more than 100%, obviously it is nothing about not understanding, more about the author not understanding basic math.
Thank you brother for your bravery and courage. We as humans must all live in peace .... We must respect other religions but must not enforce ireligion on otgers or the ideology of any religion its a free choice all himans must have ......
Islam is what Muslims make of it. As far as religions are concerned, it's pretty difficult to argue against the concept of God in Islam. This gives the average Muslim false confidence in assuming the rest of the religion is as reasonable and benign as the pure monotheism it promotes. With that said, the religion "Islam" doesn't have to be seen as an existential threat, but this depends on whether average Muslims are willing to be self-critical and independent thinkers instead of being sheep led by bigoted tradition and ancient scholarship. I hope the ex-Muslim movement will provide a much-needed shock to stimulate a change in Muslim thinking. I recently saw an orthodox Sunni Muslim scholar criticizing our Caliphs of the past as bloodthirsty men, and this was honestly a refreshing view from a Sunni scholar. However, pressure and education must continue until it's normalized for average Muslims to reject and openly acknowledge the crimes of the past and the root causes of bigotry and intolerance without making excuses/justifications for them.
The cosmological argument stems, as you said, from Aristotle, i.e. a specific brand of Greek philosophy and was taken up by Thomas Aquinas. So Christian apologists wouldn’t feel they were using an Islamic argument ;-)
Meaning, Sunni Islam is exposed? The Islam of Umar, Abu Bakr, Uthman, Abu Sufyaan, Mu'awiyah and Yazid, I imagine. Well, that debate INTERNAL to Islam has existed for 1400 yrs!
I know so many people never visited church or never believe in God but instead focused more in their worldly careers, money, ect..as soon as they suffer terminal ilnesses or face near death experience or anything fatal accident, first thing they think or comes our from their mouth is..GOD PLS HELP OR PLS SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!? hmmmmmmmmm
People only think of God in their difficult times; times of hardship and suffering. Hence why God sometimes allows us to go through difficult times, because we will remember Him and perhaps even come closer to Him.

Freed his mind from what and filled it instead with what? A bunch of garbage and false ideas that will destroy him in this lifetime and the next? Yeah, I think he deserves a Nobel peace prize for his contribution to humanity. Respect you say???
Ahmed Sami 💪💪
I really enjoyed this talk. Very intellectually stimulating.
No Islam isnt the most reasonable is a very big step back of Christianity.
I haven't watched this all yet Abdullah but just a sense to share -
I bet this is going to be an educated and sophisticated video, and please can we have more of that?
Well done !
Thanks for the comment Peter!
Love this discussion 🌹❤️
Ahmed and I have a lot in common. Damn I need to start preaching on youtube
Please, the more people who come out to denounce these toxic religions, the earlier humanity regains its freedom.
stagfirullah bro
I live in the US and Muslims seem to be pretty happy here, and you rarely hear about any kind of problems. And I wonder why it's such a different situation in Europe. There are a lot of Muslim immigrants to the United States also, many of whom are religious, and yet it's nothing like what's going on in European countries.
Muslims in the US find their purpose and place there, but their brothers in Europe cannot and do not want to integrate into the Western society.
You can tell that Ahmed has been thinking a lot. he reached a very deep understanding i think.
I admire the insights of this egyptian guy ahmed sami. So brave he got out of islam . Wish he can inspire more to get out if this cult
I watched his videos while we both were muslims and after i become a non muslim too

Interesting interview - very interesting he considers himself a deist! However, the discussion of Job was superficial. You should discuss this with a Christian schooler, like David Wood or Mike Winger. Otherwise good channel.
And godlogic 😊
Everytime I watch this show, I think of the American pop song from the 80s,
"Video Killed the Radio Star".
Kudos to you, brothers, I know how hard islamist try hard to sound peaceful I only see them wolf in human skin
This was so thought provoking and valuable, I enjoyed every minute of it! I didn't know the term deist before, but actually I fall into this category also. Sometimes I read the Bible and go to church, but for me this is more to connect with tradition. This conversation has left me so much to ponder...
Awesome 👌❤️
Deist come from greek
word Theist.
I think it is latin version
Of greek work.
I can’t find Ahmed Sami YT channel. Please share link in the description

How can i find ahmed sami channel ??? Alot of videos here and there ... but found no channel ... if some one knows please share it with me
Does anyone know any of the names of these schools of Islan that use philosophical reasoning? Thanks.
I have a question for the gentleman. What is more likely, that the 12 apostols where persecuted in different ways and places , not gaining money, fame beforehand or after, all for a lie ? For what end would they do that? Thank you, God bless ❤️☦️
Without lust... Islam is a dust.
One thing is sure ☝️Islam doesn't fit in western world 🙌
He explained it as a bit confusing.
For example when you add up inheritence portions to more than 100%, obviously it is nothing about not understanding, more about the author not understanding basic math.
you are a protestant attacking catholics

Thank you brother for your bravery and courage. We as humans must all live in peace .... We must respect other religions but must not enforce ireligion on otgers or the ideology of any religion its a free choice all himans must have ......
Surprising and sad that the West doesnt talk as much about Islam as they should. How can non-muslims at large not see this existential threat?
Is his channel still up? I can’t find his TH-cam channel, only AhmedSamiFans!
The cosmological argument stems, as you said, from Aristotle, i.e. a specific brand of Greek philosophy and was taken up by Thomas Aquinas. So Christian apologists wouldn’t feel they were using an Islamic argument ;-)
Greek philosophy is more Christian like philosophy...islam is deafness
Aristotle was greek.
mashallah to Ahmed Sami, what a smart individual
TRUTH. WILL. ALWAYS. STAND, CAN'T. DESTROY
Meaning, Sunni Islam is exposed? The Islam of Umar, Abu Bakr, Uthman, Abu Sufyaan, Mu'awiyah and Yazid, I imagine. Well, that debate INTERNAL to Islam has existed for 1400 yrs!
They are showing the world today who they really are.

I know so many people never visited church or never believe in God but instead focused more in their worldly careers, money, ect..as soon as they suffer terminal ilnesses or face near death experience or anything fatal accident, first thing they think or comes our from their mouth is..GOD PLS HELP OR PLS SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!? hmmmmmmmmm
That is because the psychological evolution of thousands of years won't just go away like that.
church is gay
People only think of God in their difficult times; times of hardship and suffering. Hence why God sometimes allows us to go through difficult times, because we will remember Him and perhaps even come closer to Him.

Judaism doesn't think so much about the afterlife. Many Jewish communities believe that the way to the next life is to make this world tommorw as much heaven like as possible. If we make this world better we can turn it to heaven, if we make it bad it will be hell.
How big is the concept of hell in the Torah ?
Did early jewish religious believes and literature contain reference to an eternal hell ?
@@theallseeingeye9388
Hi
He'll doesn't appear in the Torrah at all. There is some underworld but it is told only when one of the sinners in the dessert falls into it. The next life also isn't in the torrah.
The concept of next life (heaven and hell) appears in the last books and in the books outside the bible from the time of Jesus. I haven't read them buy from what I know, this world is the most important one. Even if the goal is to get to heaven as a different world the way to get there is to make this world as much heaven like as possible.
If no answer, Allah knowst best.

When you gently touch your finger nail and you can feel it and the nail can feel your hand touching it that is not by chance or you touch your teeth and the enamel made teeth can feel you touching it is not by chance. The fact that a person's body can feel things externally and internally is a marvelous thing that no big bang could create it. Even our skin has different cellular structures and every path can feel when touch. Jesus Christ is real 🙏
Please give him a visa to prepare him to leave should his life is threatened. Fearing for his life.....the cult will harm him...

🕊🌹🌹 I admire the rationale thought process of Ahmed. Science has not been able to provide all answers. Reasoning that there is a God is acknowledging that humans don’t have an answer for all the things in this world.
1) Facts : Quran was given in a dark cave by an angel ( helper of God)
Quran : God have no helper 🤔
2) Facts : At no point in time did God spoke to Muhammad to reveal Himself what He expect concerning this new religious way of following Him ( God )
3) Facts : God spoke to all major prophets and people all the time eg Adam , Cane , mosses , Abraham , Jacob, Samson's parents and many many more but never to mad man Muhammad 🤔👀.
4) Facts : The Quran has been corrupted there are 26 versions of the book 🤔 and why did not the Muslim god reveal himself to no other Muslims leaders till this day. Muhammad never spoke with God but a helper of God why was this so. Was God sleeping or shy to reveal who He is so he send an angel. Even God visited Mary not just the angel.
