- Welcome back to the Dream Automotive TH-cam channel! This week you join Andy and ourselves giving our newly acquired FL5 some love before we send it on its development journey. We had our friend Andy carry out a full detail and paint correction. The transformation Andy provided was CRAZY, even on a brand new car! 🤯
We also check out the dyno results we promised from last weeks videos and are happy to say we are pleasantly surprised by the cars performance!

Brave buying black Phil (unless that’s just what you were allocated) The first Black FL5 I saw was black as it was the HUK car and looked amazing! 😎 Great dyno results too, will be interesting to see how the tuning platform develops, keep up the great work and updates.
It's going to be interesting, that's for sure! Honda have made it a little bit more challenging to develop products to get more from this time around however we're sure we'll still be able to bring out some great products!
You should put civic FL5 in the title, it's heavily searched at the moment 😎👍🏻

Good result on the dyno. I wonder why it didn’t out drag the FK8 if it’s running more power than stated on throttle house’s video. Interesting 🤔
It does out run the FK8 by about a 1/3 a car length. Just watch the throttle house video

FK8 is faster plus look way better!
It has longer gearing, making them about the same in the 1/4, but Fl5 will outrun with more room
Looks you seen another video from a roll the fk8 is faster from a dig its more becuase it has better tires

Thank you very much for the video, it is convenient before polishing to do ferric decontamination and pass the clay bar due to the accumulation of contaminants by the transport to the dealerships. Finally clean the paint with alcohol so that there is no residue of the polishes.
These japanese 🇯🇵 know what they do with their engines.

We haven't tuned it at all yet! These were stock figures 🙌

Hey. Really nice video.
On some clips i can see the metallic paintjob still is not top notch as we see it from other manufacturers. Its the same as FK8 as far as i can tell from the Video.
You know what i mean? If you compare with with the german cars for example. Even my old Evo 8 has this sharper shine of the reflections.
Still wondering why TLX doesn’t have same engine setup with same turbo and same numbers as this FL5 !!

I’ve been an avid Honda hater for pretty much all my life, for my own reasons, and they are many. But, I really do like this new CTR. Just think it’s pricing is bogus.
I just realize these numbers are to the fly wheel, not to the wheels.
What are the bulbs called?

I don't understand why in the Civic world everyone talks hp/tq in flywheel measurements instead of to the wheels. Every one else on the planet talks about wheel power when they put something on the dyno.

The title is misleading, just say civic type r upgrades. No dyno results given. That’s because you have to put a LOT of $$$ into Hondas to get little added power.
